Out of curiosity, for those of you who are trading crypto and reporting, are you using FIFO, LIFO or something else?

I don't trade crypto on an exchange or anything like that, but I've sold some BTC (e.g. buying miners) over the past year and will be reporting using FIFO.

For anyone not in Discord who was wondering about the UK node:

It's been back working for a while now.

It stopped responding at 01:35 UTC
It revived at 03:00 UTC

As before with AWS servers, I've been rather pissed off about their management of them
(as usual this was an AWS problem)

So I've created a new replacement UK server, with a different provider, that's been up and running for about an hour so far - just testing it's all OK.
In a few hours, once I'm sure it's OK, I'll switch uk.kano.is to point to the new server.
No one needs to do anything with their miner configurations, the name uk.kano.is will just be switched over to the new server.
About an hour later I'll stop the old server and then anyone still connected to the old server will switch over to the new one.

Mine on! Smiley
Done - old server stopped at 08:54 UTC
Everyone has already failed back to the new server now.

Mine on! Smiley

Oh no. Do you have planned securitas aroundio or etc where servers are?  Undecided I don`t trust people myself.
I join on your bitcoin pool, soon it is possible. (Online)  Embarrassed

You don't get paid in full in the beginning, there is a "ramp up" period, this is to deter pool hoppers. But there is also a "ramp down" period, should your miner stop for whatever reason, it slowly decays instead of you getting zero immediately. I call it the PPLNS advantage. Of course if you stop mining but return quickly, it won't decay much and go back to full payments quickly.

Just check your Shift Reward and look at the red line to know where you are standing in the ramp.

yea, the ramp down for me lasted over a month. Really wish I had been here for the triple day! Sad

Hey all, why is this latest payout based on pool hash of 130Ph when the pool stats show 50Ph ?? Really cut my payout in half......

It's all part of 5Nd...big hash comes in and it takes a while to ramp up and when big hash goes away it takes a while for it to ramp down.

We did get a huge benifit from all the blocks while he was here Cheesy

If you check out kano.is the pool hashrate is fluctuating you can see it in the top left corner.

If you log in you can check out your reward and see what the pool hashrate was for the purpose of that reward.

The pool n hashrate was 128 PH, we've had a large miner failing over, to our advantage I'd say, especially that good old triple day.

The only thing better than this morning block is kano having to use  50- 400 as a definition of pool hashrate  Grin

Was this another failover block? Man those are sweet.

i start to mine at kano pool, what´s the mininum payout? the payout is automatic?

Everytime the pool finds a block, you get payed if your reward exceeds 0.0001 BTC
