Electrical engineer. Mining since 2014.
Yes I bought one from them and I also bought the 12 miner kit with 2 included. Can't find anymore though. Large group of newbies suckered into buying the A6 not knowing they needed this hard to find part. Trying to help my farm and them if there is an alternative. I have reached out to some engineer friends and we are trying to reverse engineer the AUC2. If anyone has already done this it would save me time and $$$.

Anyone have any AUC2 units for the Avalon 6? PM me I need to get these 12 6's I have mining. Thx

If there is an alternative to the AUC2 PM me as well. $$$$

You could ask if Minerwarez (official Canaan distributor) has some, even though they show sold out at the moment https://minerwarez.com/collections/used-equipment/products/auc2-adapter

I was also able to find the product page at Canaan Creative website by using Google
https://canaan.io/product/auc2/

OK I think I see whats going on here.

If you look at this block, mined by BTC.COM here: https://btc.com/0000000000000000001bc14d31cd78cba9af69b4ef9af8fac9f3aabb260658de

You can see the size is over a Meg but the stripped size is under.

Same for the raw data for the last KanoPool block here: https://btc.com/0000000000000000001e04433a329abe9308ce304f64da81e8ec1c9d3522308b

I thought the >1MB blocks would need the hard fork which is yet to come?

I was thinking the same thing.  Anything that looks > 1 MB right now is "virtual", using the last upgrade's technology, but technically is still within the 1 MB limit.

M

Yep, makes sense. That was my original question. Just odd that on BTC.com most other blocks are over 1M, at least appear that way. When you look at the details, they show stripped size and size. Did not notice that till now. Thanks for all the responses  Smiley

Even though 3 days in, this puts our average for the month at .000173BTC / Day  / TH.  That is roughly 10% over last month's average of .000158.  Let keep the recovery going!!!

Wow, that's pretty bad.  This month the expected blocks, to date, is 4.95, and so far there are 2.  And that's better than last month. Sad

So this last block (492,961), why is the size 998,181kb while most of the previous blocks were over 1MB and had more transaction fees. I have noticed most other miners are minting blocks over 1MB and wanted to see if Kano is limited.

492,963   BTC.com   1,047,123   14.98159913 BTC   right now   0000000000000000001bc14d31cd78cba9af69b4ef9af8fac9f3aabb260658de   NYA

As others have stated, it's because the block was 1 minute after the prior one.  "short" blocks tend to have less transaction fees.

Have a look at some of the prior blocks, referencing the block history on Kano's website, and you'll see the "longer" blocks tend to be very "fat" with transaction fees.

M

EDIT: like the most recent one for 14.89274489.  That's 2.39274489 BTC in fees.

No what they are saying, and if you check blockexplorer you can scroll back through the history of every block we have found, that none of the blocks are over 988.01kb in size.

I guess the question they are asking is what are these >1MB blocks and how come we aren't mining any when other pools are?

However, I don't see these big >1MB blocks on blockexplorer as they are seeing them. https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/blocks/2
