could anyone explain the shift rewards performance chart?

Chart? as in Graph?
That's your average hash rate for each shift based on the shares you submitted.
It varies a bit since share finding variance is like block finding variance Smiley

Anyone know of an existing alert service or web site/app that I could somehow set up to notify me of when Kano pool hits a block?  Like an email would be cool but a text service would be best Smiley
Seeing as how we may be here for a bit longer, I just wanted to see if anyone reading this thread/mining in this pool knows of a service to alert me each time Kano pool relays a block...

If nothing like that exists I suppose I could investigate a way to do this thru IFTTT or something similar.
If you look at the 1st message on the 1st page you'll find your answer. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/kanopool-kanois-lowest-09-fee-since-2014-worldwide-2432-blocks-789369

Check either the iTunes store or Google app store for Kano ckpool monitor. They exist for both. Send a tip to the developer if it's useful.

What's going on with this pool, I joined a couple of days ago from all of the good word from here and it hasn't found a block yet! 76 hours since the last block and counting.  If there isn't a block found by tomorrow morning I'm going to have to switch back to Slushpool.

Also, if someone told you that luck here is awesome all the time, you were given bad info.

If someone told you luck evens out to 100% over a few months, and you'll likely come out ahead pay wise because transaction fees are included AND low pool fee, then you were given good info.

Hang in there. We'll make it. Smiley

There is nothing wrong with the pool... its called "luck"

Oh and I also just joined this pool when we were at 26 hours since the last block, but if you look at the past they hit like 5 blocks Oct 15th, 3 blocks on Oct 16th and 2 blocks on Oct 17th.  Like was said above, 'past performance does not indicate future performance'... If you've been mining during this no-block period, you just need to be patient and stick with it until we hit.

Also, as was said previously pools of this size have quite a bit of variance -- if you're looking for a daily adrenaline rush of the pool hitting a block (regardless of if the payout is smaller/bigger) then probably Slush pool would be better for that.  I'm still new to mining and pools, so someone else please correct me if I'm wrong.  I'm still learning.  Cool

The pool is composed of miners, like you and me.  Why hasn't *your* hardware found a block? Smiley

Same reason mine hasn't.  Pure luck.  Right now it's sour.

Haha good one!

Yeah, I dunno why the noobie is letting us down by not finding all the blocks. I mean his luck must be awesome at Slushpool!  Wink

No, I have not. I think, I should create a wirker name in KanoPool, I saw such message, but it disapeared and I dont know how to create a worker name and how to set up it to the account. Could you help me?

You don't create a workername on the web page.

You simply point your ASIC miner at the pool with the settings similar to what's shown in the example on the home page ... but with your account name and add _worker to it.

Have you setup your miner to mine to the account? For instance my miners are setup as VRobb.S9 for my S9 and VRobb.R4B2 for my R4 so the stats link up to the account.
