@Kano After 5 days with my miner working at 9Th/s i am not getting more than 0.0014BTC each 18 hours and not 0.00243BTC each day as you say, whats going on?

Pool Average Blocks per Day:    1.8505 blocks
http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php

With your 5Nd stable now, that = 1.8505 x ~0.00143881 =~ 0.00266BTC day going forward.

With the current variance, some extreme days there will be 4-5 blocks, some days none.

Keep an eye on the blocks page to see how the pool does over time.

Hey guys, new miner here!

I am enjoying being part of the community and contributing my measles 9 THS to the pool!
I would like to know what params should i change to try get more shares and get a better performance, i hardly get 0.0001 BTC/day
SHould i change minimum difficulty default value? what can i do?

Thank you in advance.

There's nothing to do but keep your miner running Smiley

Your expected average BTC per day on 9THs is ~0.00243
http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php
but of course you have the 'ramp up' on the first few days (read Help->Payouts on the web site)
Also remember, that's per day, not per block - there's been 5 rewards so far today Smiley

You can't make a miner mine 'better' other than changing it's physical performance (or adding more miners)
The share difficulty has no expected difference, all it affects is variance and of course the pool wont let you put it too low so that you're sending truck loads of low diff shares to the pool to reduce your variance, since at ~18 SPM it's perfectly ok Smiley

Under the Workers menu, the Shitfs, Shift Graph and Workers pages tell you how you are performing.

I'll take a shot an answer. The total pool hash rate went up, so your rewards will drop because more people are contributing and the only way to increase them is to increase your participation amount. Also, I believe BTC block difficulty of the blocks found impacts rewards to a degree and they have been small so a smaller payoff.

The offset of that is the more hash rate the pool has, statistically the more consistent the blocks solved will be and will offset the lower payment amount.

Or something like that Smiley

Not Kano, of course, but what I see is that you have only been at 9TH for the last three blocks - in red above. And the blocks have been a little scarse the last two days. Along with the increase in pool hash-rate.

Same, I have a ton of room, all depends on cooling. Colling is my biggest problem, especially since I cannot find a place to host miners, everyone is at cap. Now, if someone knows someone that can get me room for miners then heat wouldn't be an issue!

Hey everyone! Long time lurker here. I migrated over 600th from our farm into the pool over the last few days, part of which is coming from all 8 of the 741's we have.
I thought it was only appropriate to put those into Kano.  Wink

Good luck to us all! With difficulty going up 20% this time around, we're going to need it.
Welcome aboard Smiley

Yeah we seem to be getting more miners coming online now thanks to deliveries from Canaan; but also long awaited deliveries from Bitmain finally starting to show up after s number of months of delays there ...
We've gone over 90PHs today, I wonder if we'll get to 100 soon Smiley

I've put the thread title up to 85 ... but will give it a few days before I update it to 90

probably off topic but I believe experts are here.
I have access to a cold room. The temp is around 4 Celcius, and thinking of running my miners in it. Any opinions or experience?
The S9/T9 temp in the specs is 0 to 40 Celcius.
thanks.
Ja, is OT, especially since there are a ton of threads about s9 cooling in the hardware area.
That said, OK -- the room is around 4C:
Why? Is it a large walk-in refrigerator? Remember, a storage refrigerator or freezer is NOT sized to remove a lot of heat being added to what is inside. Mainly they are made to KEEP things cold with just a little reserve margin.
.
Is it mechanical refrigeration (A/C) for another reason?
If it *is* A/C -- what is the systems cooling capacity?
You do realize that miners are pretty much perfect space heaters right?

Considering that if using a nice ballpark power of 1.5kW for EACH s9, that equates to 4,712BTU/hr added heat load in that cold room. Got a hunch that with a few miners in there it won't be cold for long...

It all depends on the size of the room as well and the number of the miners.  If you just put one or 2 in it it might hold up but if you add more the room will heat up really quick and you will have to have some kind of airflow going through it.  Just connect a hose to each miner and point them out, they sell adapters for that as well.  Then the room temp will stay pretty much the same.  Smiley
