After all the restarts and failovers, the problem seems to be...

Donald Trump's plane was ready for landing. As he was asked to turn off communication devices, he ordered shutdown for whole Internet.

After all the restarts and failovers, the problem seems to be LA where the passthru (stratum) and the whitelisted node are both having problems still.
That time both lost connection while all other nodes were OK.
When I followed this up with the provider yesterday they claimed they'd tweaked something and the problems also stopped happening, however this return of the problems obviously means it wasn't fixed so I'm awaiting their next reply on the subject.

However, yet again, all is back to normal for the time being.

(FYI "space" and "is" are always on the same servers)

The passthru dropped everyone again at 19:23 so there was a full failover+failback for everyone on stratum.kano.is

This was different to the network 'maintenance' before, so I've pushed an update into the passthru and restarted it again at 19:47 UTC

Hash rate has almost recovered now.

Another update? Down again  Shocked

Yeah, mine has been down for 13 minutes

Is Kano.space having this issue? Maybe I should point my primary to that.

There was 'urgent network' maintenance on the main backend server's backbone network.
This caused a full disconnect for the passthru (startum.kano.is) and a lot of the miners on the nodes also disconnected,
This occurred at 18:15 UTC for 6 minutes.
This was a failover, as expected, for those miners, but they've all failed back now.
The hash rate takes a while to catch back up (up to 5 minutes) since the miner failover code waits that long to switch back.
Hash rate is (now) almost back to normal.

Apparently it has failed again...?

Something wrong with the front end?
I'm getting a lot of 0GH rates for my miners, or high error rate.
Elapsed time for them all says 1m20s
Just before that, it said 2m10s but then it reset.
All within about 2 minutes time.

That'll happen sometimes after a block change.  How's it looking now...?
Yeah every network block change, the Elapsed on the Workers page resets and starts counting the "Share Rate" again.
That also helps people to clearly see what's happening when they connect new miners.

No problems here.

I do have a 0.266% invalid rate. Mostly stale with 1 reject

234.00 blocks made
210.20  blocks expected

that is 1.113 to 1  or 111.3 so take kano's fee away   and it is  110.32%  pay out vs  100%   sounds really good but wait there is more  I have not included the  btc in tx fees paid to us miner's since Jan.  I believe it is over 150 btc

it was about 25 coins for Jan
it was about 37 coins for Feb
it was about 58 coins for Mar
it was about 80 coins for Apr   that is 195 extra in coins for first four months
