The pool has been failing over a lot lately, Many dropped connections  Embarrassed , sadly these S9's fail to handle failover properly
Weird - I know someone with many more that are failing over ok each time.

Maybe i just got a bad batch of S9's Sad . What happens is that they fail over but when they fail back they fail to start mining at the correct speed and sometimes require many reboots. Most of the time my mining software just handles all the reboots and brings them to speed but sometimes they require a physical reboot

Sweet sweet sweet!  Just 3 more blocks and we got our 2 per day this month Kano!  And we still have like 3 days to make it happen!  SmileySmileySmiley
Well if you look at the "Monthly Statistics" it says if we are ahead of behind based on the month's blocks found vs shares submitted.

At the moment it's 59 Blocks with 58.87 Expected - which means we are just a fraction ahead of expected (thanks to those last 2 quick ones)

That's the target of this growth - get us closer to the expected 100%
Yeah it's awesome to get months like Feb and Apr, but it also means months like Dec are more likely also Sad
Higher hash rate means less variance Smiley

You mean last 3 quick ones!   Lol SmileySmileySmileySmiley

Ok I'll do the honor.  Tongue  BLOCK by blockmines (third in a row) With 15.3 BTC SmileySmileySmiley

Looks like luckyant is failing over again. Wonder if we'll beat the hashrate from yesterday and if he'll find a block again!  Grin
Yeah he's been failing over to us at least a few times a day for a bit now.
In the past he's mined on the pool and failed over on occasion.
Of users with 5 or more blocks, he comes in with the 3rd best CDF of all time (i.e. he has well above expected) Smiley

Afraid we'll get back to $1700-1800 in 2 days.
There's no substance at all behind the last bull run.

My strategy is to sell most during bull runs, unless those price hikes are backed by:

a) Protocol upgrade
b) Mining reward halving

huh? more people are involved, hence higher network value.

I think you'll find the last drop is most likely nothing to do with core or anything like that.
You're thinking that people take too much notice of that small closed group of people Tongue

Whatever did push the price up, even if it was artificial, the pop+fall+recover is pretty much expected like with any stock on a stock exchange.
If the price rises too quickly, people will decide a point to sell, and then you'll see a sell off that will make the price fall.
Next is how far people will let it fall before considering buying it, at what they consider the bottom of the fall.
If it was a quick bubble, like the last week, you'll find the fall will be to a lower level, since in general people will consider the bottom out point to be lower before buying again.

Another failover at 20:34 UTC, this time it seems it was a general everyone affected, but again a failover then a failback pretty quickly.
Seems to be some network issues on the west coast US, but since each time it has been so quick there's nothing showing up at the provider.

I think 2 of my s7's started to beep and I though something was wrong with them so I just restarted Smiley.

Nice good fatty that last one! SmileySmileySmiley

Are you guys seeing what's going on with all of the cryptocurrency!  It is dropping catastrophically!!!  Shocked Huh Cry. I'm hoping that the BTC won't go lower than $1500!?
That's what is known as a "Market Correction".  Wink

What are your predictions?  Huh  I got about 1 BTC right now and wondering if I should sell it or wait.

too late to sell  wait for bounce back   to 2400 sell ½ then

Yes, that's what I'm planning to do thanks! Smiley
