Voted and watching this thread. I remember history of Karma, it would be a pity to have this investment completely wasted.
I would love to say yeah 3 months let's get this project moving.... but I think that might be a little unfair for karma holders who don't check the forums regularly.
A suggestion... what if we did like a 2 part swap. 3 months unlimited swap. Then after 3 months a pot of karma tokens are put aside where people have maybe like another 3 months but once the pot is gone that's it. Any nonclaimed tokens could be used for the charitable objectives. This would allow us to know the total number of tokens after 3 months but also give people time to swap..... I dunno just a suggestion.

I am excited on what we can do after we migrate (IF IT HAPPENS). Maybe we should shorten the EXCHANGE PERIOD, instead of 12 months, we should shorten it to 3 months?? That way we can focus on the activities that will make KARMATOKEN serve it's conceptual purpose of doing something good.
We are moving on so we may as well move fast.

If we continue doing nothing, no new ideas, no new people involved, we could only see the few marketplaces involving Karma close our market in next month because of to little activity and no benefit for them. No marketplaces = end of Karma existence and billions of dead coins in our wallets.

broke new ground for a major project of karma 
We will, consider this: Before we, as a community wanted a MOBILE wallet, where we can tip easily, or share KARMA easily, but it did not materialize. If we want someone to learn to use KARMA, there is a BIG LEARNING CURVE, downloading, installing, synching the wallet etc. With KARMATOKEN, ALL a new user has to do is DOWNLOAD an APP and everything is almost self explanatory. EASY, ACCESSIBLE, FUN.

I will definitely back this project. Moving to counterparty is a no brainier it will solve most of the major issues with this coin.

We will eventually break the barrier that was holding back KARMA from reaching that point...when philanthropists THINK about KARMA when they want to donate. Counterparty SMART CONTRACT capability, MOBILE WALLET and hopefully soon enough the anon feature...will all help towards that goal.

That's right, Delaforetnoire is correct, ours will be a COMMUNITY COIN, where the active community members will compose the TEAM. As soon as the poll finishes we will start on a bounty for project brainstorming.
