BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
That's very well said. As with almost everything in life, learning is usually the first step before you can even put what you learn into practice (after building a solid KnowledgeBase that is).

Well said.  As a newbie,  the first goal is to learn. Learn, learn and learn.  Many newbies make the mistake of joining the forum with the sole aim of getting paid. With this mindset, they neglect many things they are supposed to be learning. "Learn first before you can apply what you have learnt into practice "

No one is stopping anyone from navigating through the forum to read posts and threads. Almost everything you  need to know about cryptocurrency and the forum is here. Make learning your first priority and see things going well for you

Learning is very important in our daily life, without learning there would be no knowledge, when you think of learning you grow from one stage of our life to the other and it is easy  to pay proper attention on formal education.
If you're ready to learn, the forum has more than enough knowledge to impact in you about  Bitcoin and cryptocurency, which will make you grow and expose you on how to invest in bitcoin and have a good investment. Learning is the way of getting new knowledge, understanding, values, attitude and behaviour of a particular thing you want to know or get.

I'm now fully dedicated to continuous learning and contributions with a positive expectation of reaping the fruits of my labor pretty soon.
A note to my fellow newbies(I'm definitely leaving that rank soon), keep learning and striving, everything we wish for will materialize.  But first, you've got to learn, learn and learn!!!.

I like your dedication and enthusiasm about the forum. Having a positive mindset in anything you do will always give you an edge amongst your contemporaries to always go an extra mile. Now you just have to build on acquiring that knowledge from the forum and sharing the knowledge in the forum also without expecting nothing in return (merits). If you have a mindset of always wanting a merit for every contribution you make to the forum, you’ll always end up disappointed. Just focus on bettering your knowledge here and the merits will come on its own.

You can never learn enough. It's like an infinitely void. I liked the attitude you showed in term of learning. Many newbies don't have that. They aren't that patience as you. As a result, not just they don't learn anything but also spam this community. I hope you do realize that. And advance congratulations on your rank up. Keep learning and help this community to grow.
There is nothing much to learn here since this is not a platform to learn about Bitcoin or how the Bitcoin network works. This is only a forum where we can discuss and talk about Bitcoin and other altcoins too. If anyone want to learn about Bitcoin, there are different websites we can learn about cryptocurrency and mining from without stress. It is very important as a member of this forum to always keep to rules and make sure that we don't break rules that would make the moderator to ban our account or continuously deleting our posts.

This platform is one of the best place to learn about Bitcoin. Some members here are early Bitcoin adopters and others have vast knowledge about the ecosystem. The forum covers almost all the areas of Bitcoin and altcoins. The information in this forum is priceless and can turn a novice in the sector into an expert. Members are advised to seek information from other reliable or verified sources but this forum has so much to offer. No question about Bitcoin cannot be answered in this forum. Just search for a topic in the forum and you will be amazed at the information you will get. To seek information from other sources there is a need to do diligent research because many websites give out fake information

I don't know why you are too focused in Bitcoin trading. This is not the only feature Bitcoin offer. I do not suggest newbies immediately start learning Bitcoin trading instead of know the depth of Bitcoin. Their main focus should be explore the forum more and more and read. I didn't even realize when I learned things about Bitcoin.

I think to his level of understanding, he is mixing those words up. I understand he is trying to talk generally on the benefit of bitcoins. Every newbie should understand that there are terminology in bitcoins and how they are used. The usage of bitcoin terms to convey your expression is very important else different meaning will be read to your expression.

Newbie should take note to avoid post that spike argument or reactions.

Sorry, but you are wrong. You can learn a lot here if you spend your time in the right sections, reading what those who know what they are talking about write. I can see from your post history that you aren't posting in the technical discussion boards. That doesn't necessarily mean you don't read what is written there, but if you aren't, I recommend you start. You might change your mind. The Gambling and Bitcoin Discussion boards won't teach you much, that is true.

As fillipone rightly said in one of his posts, when you dedicate time to learning and readily share your knowledge with people in the forum, you grow not only in knowledge, but in the rewards of impacting meaningful knowledge "Merit". I'm now fully dedicated to continuous learning and contributions with a positive expectation of reaping the fruits of my labor pretty soon.

There are truths in those words, the more you learn the more knowledgeable you become and your impact on the forum will improve as now you won't be writing like most users do but your words will be full of positive contributions to discussion going on, on that particular thread. When that become a habit, you'll begin to get merit fans that'll find your content worth meriting regularly and you increase your rank. Quality contributions doesn't only add to your reputation on the forum but it also affect you outside the forum. The more you're around quality the more knowledgeable you are becoming as well.

I love the goals you have set for yourself, when goals are written that's already a one step closer to achieving that goals. Next you have to work towards those goals as just saying it doesn't mean it'll manifested. The forum appreciate quality so when you become a quality poster, you won't go unnoticed. Also just enjoy the forum while you're trying to increase in rank because the forum becomes easier when you're enjoying your time here learning and not just posting for signature quota.
Knowledge cometh by learning and learning every day and when the learner has known then he or she can also reach other people and that is education, the impacting knowledge to another newbies is the knowledge acquired in the forum and passed to other. 98% just a guess figure were empty when joined the forum but today they have done well and educating others and that is learning. When someone is serious on life and patient to learn and when he or she has learned and make a meaningful contributions then merits will definitely come to their ways. What fillipone said is the truth.

Keep the goal certain and clear but in the course of wanting to rank up or receive rewards for contribution (Do not over do) most people will not tell you this. Over curiosity can lead to many things thereby costing you lost instead of rewards which you yearn for.
Keep in mind the does and don't of the forum. Best of luck mate
You just focus on gaining knowledge first of all but many new accounts run behind merits in hope of earning from some campaign but end up everything in vain so changing focus to real contribution on forum with aim of learning on forum. You see growth might be slow for some and fast for some accounts but keep yourself steady for it.

Some people think Bitcoin = Trading and gambling. They think those are the only use cases of Bitcoin, while there are many other things to learn. People do not bother to learn why their transactions get stuck from time to time. People do not bother to learn that any coin named Bitcoin on another chain is not Bitcoin. These are the shitcoins. People do not bother to learn what wallet they should use instead of centralized exchanges. They use exchanges to trade and keep their balance there. Bitcoin enabled financial freedom yet we do not use it for that purpose. Bitcoin is not only for trading. If newbies already know about these, they are welcome to ignore it.
I think that's all due to the excitement that they're seeing from the success stories of the others. They don't bother to check all of those basic things about Bitcoin but that's fine because they will get to learn all of those in the process and if they're eager to learn more about it.
But hopefully, those people won't go that far and will come to the point that they'll have their lessons in an expensive, that's what we don't want to happen to them and that's why starting from the most basic ones, making it a little by little until you want to learn something new again.
Just like what people are saying about learning and education, it's a continuous process and the best thing is that this community is all for it.

Well said, learning first is what newbies should do before starting to do what they are going to do and this forum as you have said the forum has a lot to offer because forum members are here in the forum to help you understand what you are going to ask and as we can see that there are lots of guides, tips especially about your security. If a newbie has already done it then that person is ready to start what he/she is interested with like investments, trading and more.

The best way to grow for newbies in the forum is to learn. This is because you can't impact what you don't know. The major problem about newbies in the forum is impatience. Most feel they can become a Hero member few days after registered. With patience and continuous learning, you will easily achieve your dream rank one day.
Studying a lot and reading is one way to find out many things which can ultimately make them knowledgeable. Just having knowledge will not make them achieve what is expected easily, meaning they have to develop their talent in writing or maybe they have to learn English better to be able to convey something correctly.

I'm sure many beginners learn, but they have difficulty getting their point across because writing is not their forte. This may be rare, but some people who tend not to like writing may have trouble getting it right. So it's not just knowledge that needs to be improved, talent and skill development is also needed so that you can achieve what you want in this forum.

OP I totally agree with you. The forum offers a lot to all of us here. I believe it shouldn't emphasize on newbies alone but to everyone here. Learning never stops in whatever stage we are. Our zeal should not end here there should always be room for improvement. One thing I found interesting the most in the forum is that there is no specific person or ranked members here specifically for teaching or tutoring. But we learn from the resources and experience we share here.

Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin
Finally, I've observed that there are so much to learn in the forum, to the extent its sometimes overwhelming. There are so many intellectuals and professionals who display their wealth of knowledge at any concern. Its a good thing that there are people willing to create topics and contribute to meaningful topics created everywhere in the forum. I also observed the more I get engaged in the forum activities, the better I got at knowledge and exposure. I have resolved to learning and continuous learning to expand my knowledge personally and be able to grow to recognition in the forum one day in the nearest future. As fillipone rightly said in one of his posts, when you dedicate time to learning and readily share your knowledge with people in the forum, you grow not only in knowledge, but in the rewards of impacting meaningful knowledge "Merit". I hope have the energy to bring this pictures to reality because things like this are easy to say but when it's time to pull off the objectives you have on mind. It's that time you start to get lazy, reading turn to something that disguss you at any slight opportunity and without that, you can't rank up because you need to have merit and to have merit, you need to b a good writer who knows the difference between X and Y and to write better, you need to read and comprehend every important word about bitcoin.

Don't chase the merit, chase good knowledge so when there is need to answer important questions or discussion, your response will stand out among the best and if merit sources see your post and they like it, they will give you the amount it worth depending on how the merit source was impress by the reply or like the reply. So, welcome to the forum and enjoy every moment of the forum.

Not only newbies that have that issue of learning how things work especially in the Forum, it shouldn't be pointed at the newbies alone. Sometimes we use our ranks to judge how good or bad a person does things in this Forum forgetting that we're all humans that needs to learn from one another.
Is like growth, we need each other to grow in any away possible.
Many on this Forum are just desperate like you pointed out but at the same time they are ready to learn while some don't have that patience to learn how things work in this Forum, they just want to get to the top like the others, and it will force them to make mistakes along the line.

The forum is open for everyone to come and tap bitcoin knowledge from professional so that you can use this knowledge to achieve something great tomorrow. The forum has so many resources that one can benefit from, in order to expand your financial status outside the forum or inside the forum. I could remember some group of people asked me to teach them what is bitcoin and to my surprise after the class, they brought out a little gift to appreciate my effort and I told them not to bother. The forum also help one on how to discipline himself when investing on bitcoin on how to manage his resources and trim excess spending so that the person will be able to continue to grow his bitcoin portfolio through regular DCA. So many good things on living a happy life tomorrow with bitcoin as long as you are ready to learn. Learning is the key here.

I do not suggest newbies immediately start learning Bitcoin trading instead of know the depth of Bitcoin. Their main focus should be explore the forum more and more and read. I didn't even realize when I learned things about Bitcoin.
While this thread exists: Stop discouraging people from Bitcoin...
It points out about trading and I reckon what you've said is that newbies don't have to rush to trade. Take a little step at a time and enjoy the exploration that they are learning while staying here. As this thread says, a lot of things have to be learned from the forum, there's trading but it isn't the only thing that they'll learn about.

Some people think Bitcoin = Trading and gambling. They think those are the only use cases of Bitcoin, while there are many other things to learn. Staying in the forum is a great thing for a newbie because this forum will make you learn and read things about Bitcoin so that you will know the fundamentals of Bitcoin, and also be able to participate and share things that will help people of this forum. I'm a living example since I came to the forum, I have gained some understanding of Bitcoin that I didn't know before. For instance, if I want to buy Bitcoin I now know to use the DCA strategy to accumulate my Bitcoin so that I can control volatility if there is a price drop, never store my Bitcoin in a centralized exchange because of not your key, not your coin, and also store my Bitcoin in an open source and noncustodial Bitcoin wallet. Only learning and reading will help you understand things you have little knowledge of and this forum is here to help you.
