I think this is brilliant! I've been following Kim from time to time until this one got my eyes wide open. In the poker game, I think it's a sign where she would finally explore Bitcoin and it's supreme technology. As she had a major influence in social media, I would honestly think that some of the fans would start wondering what Bitcoin is really all about, and how can it help them today and in the future.

Popular persons or celebrities could get a lot of support from their fans or friends. There voice may just be the same as their friends or relatives because they could influence one's thinking. If this was true I think bitcoin could have been pushed positively and could have gain some attention even to those who didn't even know what it is.

Any publicity is good publicity for bitcoin--cryptocurrency in general. Frankly, I think majority of Kim K's fans have a low IQ...and that would be good once they get into bitcoin--many will gain from it

Awesome, As far I know she post it to myday. I think it’s a amazing initiative to take promotion through celebrities. I think in future many celebrities join this platform and it will attrack more investor. So I wish more folks will join this forum.
That can really creat a huge impact for the system for sure. It's guaranteed that kim kardashian can really bring people in bitcoin since she is a well known person. With her followers I think they will be interested in the system since their idol is promoting it. Having well known person as your promoter is such a great advantage and beneficial.I think it is good that she has shown Bitcoin to all her followers. I'm pretty sure a majority of her followers didn't know about Bitcoin or they have heard about it and thought it was bad or something. However, I don't think this will increase Bitcoins adoption by much. For some reason, I doubt that her followers would be able to buy and store Bitcoin without losing it. They probably aren't the most tech savy people..

You're completely right in my opinion, we should treat Bitcoin as something only the tech-savvy can make use of.

Agreed. But we still need to make bitcoin easy to understand and use for beginners or the past pump and dump will happen again. Beginners will always be scared of a down move in the market whenever it happens because they don't know that it is normal.
Plus the ever-changing network transfer speed. Before it scares me whenever I create a bitcoin transfer, not sure if it will succeed because it almost took me 6 hours for it. But now that I know the right fee for a normal transfer I don't get scared that much.

I don't see this a benefit to bitcoin's appeal in the slightest.
