Any publicity is good publicity for bitcoin--cryptocurrency in general. Frankly, I think majority of Kim K's fans have a low IQ...and that would be good once they get into bitcoin--many will gain from it

I have to agree with the fact that it is very impressive move, from celebrity like Kim Kardashian this is actually a unexpected thing but this can't be consider as a promotion cause it didn't reach to the large amounts of people

If Kim Kardashian's report is true then I think it's a good sign. It could be a good opportunity to run publicity through celebrities. Bitcoin's popularity will increase. Man's confidence and trust will multiply. As the investment increases, the profit will increase. In all, the crypto people will benefit.

That can really creat a huge impact for the system for sure. It's guaranteed that kim kardashian can really bring people in bitcoin since she is a well known person. With her followers I think they will be interested in the system since their idol is promoting it. Having well known person as your promoter is such a great advantage and beneficial.

Well that's a great incentive for bitcoin community since we all know how famous kim kardashian is. It's just a great feeling that a well known person is promoting the system that we live in. Just like Floyd Mayweather shilled some ICO before. I like the advertisement but there must be some precaution that she would tell her followers that before jumping in, do some research if she is really endorsing it.

I think it is more opportunity to promote crypto by celebrity. I think it will increase crypto popularity and invest. More people are interested to invest here. it is very good sign for crypto.

Don't know what to say. Many people are reacting like Kim doesn't know anything about BTC, she's just showing off. With due respect how do you know that she is a noob in this field. Maybe she is already a crypto head and you know nothing

I don't think it will matter much. Celebrities often promote several things. But i think this promotion will bring some noobs in the market which is really unimpressive.

Exactly as discussed, we will have a bunch of new members in crypto space who will invest in market anonymously and will not probably make it have success in any project but may gain by luck. This will make the market more spread though.

Let's look at the scene from a different angle. Even if rich newbies invest in the market, that will be a good news for the whole community as it will only help the user base to grow. Kim must have a huge fanbase, who will be curious to know about BTC now. In a way, this looks like a good exposure to me for Bitcoin market.

I don't find the negative side of this to be honest. If a celebrity like Kim Kardashian who has millions of follower showcases her using Bitcoin that will make many people curious about how BTC actually works. Some of them may even participate in the market after getting a hold of this scene. It is good for the community nonetheless.

If she promote it then too nothing bad , but it is not such a big news also . It can help in more love fot btc by her followers , they may use it more for regular usage . More celebs doing promotion will only be positive for all . however they should go after technology of bitcoin rather than profit opportunity .

anything is possible in crypto so many people can promote bitcoin , like example john mca fee is promoting hugely crypto currency , a lot of people is interested to bring their own crypto currency also . kim kardashian maybe interested in bitcoin , a lot of porn actress are interested and supported a lot of crypto currency also .
It is still PROMOTION on the side of Bitcoin, one way or another it can be viewed as Bitcoin at Poker Game, is this acceptable or not ? i would be more move if some of Financial / Big businessman will endorse Bitcoin in the future? The credibility comes with the endorsement not only publicity from the public figure but the value of endorsement.

I think this is a good advertisement for Bitcoin. Recently many celebrities advertise cryptocurrencies. Sometimes celebrities promote fraudulent projects but in this case it is not a fraudulent project.
But as OP said whether she know about bitcoin technology or not buy just seeing the price fluctuations she also thought of becoming rich by trading in bitcoin and it will only bring more traders which is good by one side but if the market crash then this traders will get panic and sell in loss and bring market more down.

Rather than spreading negativity I will look into the bright side of the story, there are millions of people who follow her on a regular basis. People who want to invest their hard earned money, will definitely consult professionals or do their own research before buying BTC which is a great news. Hope these exposures work positively for BTC.
