You not only don't want the paste oozing underneath, but you also don't want is coming up with the stencil, getting caught in the cutouts. Cleaning it up as suggested with the sandpaper will help with that also.

Looks good. One thing I know now - the K1 pcb isn't thick enough alone to make good contact in a USB socket. It will need some kind of plastic or metal tab to be incorporated into the case/heat sink for the board. I'd seen some USB-on-PCB designs online and presumed that 1.6mm would be close enough, but it isn't. I slipped a piece of thin 0.4mm aluminium in and that makes it snug. That leads me to think that 2mm is the right total thickness.

What's the heatsink mounting hole spacing? In fact, is there a drawing of the PCB anywhere? I tried to convert the SVG to DXF, but the mounting holes don't translate over. Trying to mess with it, but no success. Is the overall board about 111mm square?

A K16 will use around 32W, so a K64 will need about 128W each (with 4 leads). They're designed to take a PCIe 6 pin connector much like a GPU. I would guess that you could run a K64 off each PCIe lead from the PSU with splitters to feed each of the 4 sections. I haven't gone to check the specs but they would handle something like that. I wouldn't have a problem running 4x K64 off my 600W supply. I used to run 3 GPUs at 500W without any issues. I'd say you're better off going that route than using crappy low wattage power adapters for each board, or section of board. Like with GPUs stick with solid reliable PSU units like Corsair, preferably high efficiency Gold (90%) rated.

With news of sample chips coming I ordered today a few boards of our 10 chip design and together with this 2 sample K16 and 5 K1 nano based on last
reference from gihub.
According to this I sent to BKK address for donations 2x0.04 + 5 x 0.02 = 0.18 BTC

Here's my K1 stencil cut this morning on the Silhouette. It's not perfect but I think it's usable for a prototype. This is just garden variety transparency material from the local stationers shop. There is better quality material out there. This is 2-up w/o ASIC and missing the NOR gate as well, since both will be added manually later.
