I will be testing v0.9.6 soon. However My 3rd Jupiter restarted cgminer 6hrs into my test. I took steps to swap out the intake fans on Jupiter 3 as it performances similar to Jupiter 1. I hope this will solve the cgminer reset.
Do you have a Jupiter 2 then as well? Why did I suddenly think of 'Lost in Space'?

Anyways I'll stick to firmware 0.96.
From the beginning I wanted to mine on Eligius and with firmware 0.90 to 0.95 I had the flushwork issue.
It seems that 0.96 solved that issue; it's been 24 hours that I'm mining on Eligius.

Could someone please summarize their findings with the last firmware versions? Something like these data points:

- Firmware version
-  Power consumption
-  Hashrate
-  Temp
- Errors, etc/

I think this would help distill some of the long discussion here.
I'll post something in a few hours.

Tried 0.96 for awhile and found it gave me a higher WU/m then 0.95.

However, 0.93/0.94 still gave me the higher WU/m so I'm back to the old firmware.

Thanks for that update. I am noticing that Jupiter 1 and Jupiter 3 are not at optimal performance. I will test them with firmware v0.9.6 in the next 21hrs.

Kano you think
That firmware of knc miners
Have any big bug or problem?
I have no idea - I've never seen one Tongue
(and I don't expect to ever see one either)

Odd though that they don't put all those extra stats in the API stats ... but instead you have to run some extra program.

Hi Kano

here 'Orama said he sent the cgminer driver source code to Luke-jr and ckolivas, so I think you'll be able to see it easily

I was referring to a KFCminer Smiley

now it's clear KFC... Tongue

1hr result with firmware v0.9.5
Not much different at this time.

Only Jupiter unit 3 seems to be performing similar to  Jupiter 1.
I will swap out the intake fans on that unit and also apply the heatsink fan relocation trick that was posted by DPoS

Here are photo's of the unboxing.

New V2 4VRM Design

Same default low CFM intake and cooler fans.

ASIC Modules Assembly line #'s
Note: we have noticed that ASIC Modules with #1 has better performance overall however it may be a coincidence.

true, use those F14's for something!
I did try to use them in front of the heatsinks briefly since they were bigger and suppose to be higher CFM but were terrible..  I guess without the shroud, or the smaller ones just have better pressure in the right targeted area

here's the pics for the intake switch!

Hey hey, first jupiter I've seen with led lights! I might get some duct tape and put go faster stripes on mine Smiley

I'll then probably find myself shouting "Go faster!" at it  Roll Eyes

I did similar thing, but I put 2 extra fans at other side of unit, pulling air out:

With all the activity on the thread, I have a bit of reading to do in order to catch up.

However I just wanted to update on the status of the shipment that I have been waiting on.

I will post the unboxing photos and a few preliminary results before I get down to 12hr and 24hr testing.

These came packaged the same as the first unit back on October 4th.

The same issues on this batch, cooler fans being detached during shipping, and one ASIC Cooler heatsink was bent. Apart from that nothing out of the ordinary.
The units shipped with firmware v0.9.1

Here are the results after a few minutes.

Doing a baseline on this new hardware with firmware v0.9.5
I have Jupiter 1 on an OCZ1250 Power Supply The others are on Corsair AX860i
