Almost all people play to win, and if we summarize what motivates us all, then in general it is finances and the desire to make money. But gambling cannot always be associated with earnings, and even players who are at a significant loss continue to play, why does this happen?

This means that the point here is not always about earnings, maybe emotions during a bet are more important than winning, because the player who loses more than he wins would have stopped long ago if it was only about money. And you should stop only if the losses become too noticeable, if the player loses too much and this begins to affect his emotional state and budget.
It cannot be denied that someone who gambles certainly hopes to win, although many people think that gambling is more appropriate as a form of entertainment, there are still many gambling addicts who hope to make money from gambling.  Of course, the habit of gambling to make money cannot just be eliminated, after he gets a big win, the mindset of a gambling addict will certainly feel addicted to wanting to continue gambling every day in the hope of getting a little income from gambling.  This is of course done for those who find it difficult to stop gambling
That's the major problem that has been existing for long and so many humans fails to access that will power to actually stop this habit when they maybe succeeded in having profits the first day because it's like a virus that eats up the brain and tells the person gradually to just still continue with the gambling that since he achieve it yesterday that today is also possible to achieve it

I've talked about this on a few other pages where we can't lie to ourselves and I'm sure everyone or any gambler comes with the goal of winning. One of the things that makes a gambler have such a goal is because it is clear that gambling provides winning opportunities to all gamblers involved, but on the other hand only a small percentage of gamblers are able to properly understand the overall aspect of gambling which is that in addition to opportunities there are also possible risks that can never be completely avoided, meaning that you can lose at any time in an amount that you may never expect.

However gambling is not a earning activity, I would say NO to this idea, because there is absolutely no certainty and no guarantee that it can actually earn, one of the other reasons is because gambling is always random in terms of determining the winner, and this is why we call it a lucky activity which means you win if you are lucky. What's worrying is that those people who misunderstand what the odds of winning mean, which ultimately makes them push too hard to achieve a win that is basically very difficult and that action will only make them lose a much larger budget.
When we do gamble then we should really be that sensible in towards our actions because its impossible that you arent that totally aware or wary about on the risks involved with gambling.
Know when to stop, this is really just that a basic word but it is really that too damn hard to be done on the time  that you would really be on such situation or condition. People do usually mess up
their lives on the time that they do deal up with gambling just because they are really that having those high hopes that they could make some huge money with gambling.

On the time that you do mold up such kind of idea into your mind then you wont really be stopping not until you would really be able to make it happen. This is why it would really be always
best that you should really know on what you are doing so that whenever you do make some mistakes or errors then you coudl really just that easily adjust
accordingly and do make out those right steps or actions that should be made on.

True, I have to agree with your idea that one of the things that makes it difficult for someone to stop is that they have an exaggerated feeling or have a high enough curiosity to assume that victory is near, feelings like this also occur and are felt by people who have just won, they think that they will be able to get a bigger win which in the end they continue the session with a larger amount of bets because they are based on higher confidence and expectations.

All this happens none other than because they gamble with the aim of earning, or simply this kind of feeling will be felt by people who gamble by prioritizing winning over the fun aspect, and this is also one indication that soon that person will end up with addiction because in two situations, namely winning or losing they really will not be able to decide to stop, simply put "when you win you will be addicted and when you lose you will be curious" and obviously gamblers like this will only stop when he runs out of all his funds.

Yes we cannot lie and must admit that most of us gamble to get a win or multiply the amount of money we carry, and on the other hand obviously gambling cannot be associated with the idea of making money because of course the reason is that there is absolutely no certainty in terms of the final outcome of a gambling session which means the idea of making money is nothing more than a "chance" or "possibility" that cannot always happen or materialize. On the other hand I will answer your question with one of the reasons that gamblers who have lost a lot but still continue to play or gamble is that they have the intention and purpose to restore something that has been lost or simply continue gambling to pursue recovery, but this is the wrong mindset.

The point is that someone who knows and understands about the real facts of gambling activities will not feel too emotional when they lose and as you said that they will be able to stop this activity because they don't want to lose money for the umpteenth time, This means that gamblers who have a proper understanding of gambling will be able to control their gambling activities as well as control themselves one of which is the possibility of emotions, and if they always lose big but still gamble then I would say that they are gamblers who misunderstand what is meant by "odds" in gambling or someone who does not understand what gambling is so that this activity makes them experience a lot of money problems.

Indeed, the fact that you are aiming to push becuase you wanted to recover the money that you lost will lead you to more possible losses to encounter, given the fact that you are no longer aiming to enjoy or to have some entertainment but you are focus to recover back your money, this kind of mentality mostly the reason why there are more gamblers who become addicted, they can't control their emotions and they just need to follow their desire, there's no other goal but just to keep playing.

Your second statement value the fact that having a proper understanding can give you that precaution not to deal with gambling that much, it will avoid you from getting addicted if you are well-aware on how to handle each situation that you've have from your gambling participation, the deaper you understand the better chance that you'll going to realize that there's no good in trying to play for more but instead it's better to stop and quit away.

I usually say to myself that when a person reaches the level of not being able to tell themselves that tomorrow they are going to stop playing for a few months and they arrive and cannot achieve that goal, then that person urgently needs help, at the time when the People don't know what their limit is and if they exceed that limit, they have to seek help. for example, if a person plays with 10$ a week, they always set this money limit, but after a few months, when the person loses all 10$ and deposits more money in the casino, they play and lose, so that person needs to stop playing for some time. time, this is because this person is reaching the serious level of not having control over themselves and when they are at this level the person must stop because they will start taking money that was intended to pay bills and will destroy themselves

There are cases where a person plays every day for 1 hour, but when that person starts playing for many hours and is unable to dedicate time to family, school, work, then that person needs to stop playing for a while because If you continue playing you will lose your job, you will lose your family and the worst thing in this world is losing your family. time that passes never comes back, and when a person spends more time playing and ignores his family then that person when he loses that family will be left alone and with great regrets and in most of the cases I have seen, it is difficult when that person is cured of addiction manages to recover the family
People wont stop not until they would really be able to reach out on what they do have in mind. They wont stop until they would really be literally cant be able to do so due to lack of money.
Control is something that cant be applied and something that a person couldnt really be able to mind on specially if they are on such situation on which this thing is really that mainly needed.
We do know that when it comes to gambling then it would really be needing up that kind of control so that you wont really be ending up on messing up yourself with it because we do know
on what gambling addiction could bring into our lives, which is really a true disaster. Know when to stop and call it a day or something like this would really be that relevant.

People who do messed up their lives because of too much spending and dealing up with gambling are to those who do lose up their control towards themselves on the time that they do play.
This is why it would really be always recommended that you should really give out some priorities on the time that you are seeing that you are losing that much. You should know
on when to call it a day even if you are winning too. It all takes about on the control because once you have nothing such as this then you would surely be messing up yourself in gambling field.
Gambling should be fun and not something that brings out stress into you.

Not only when they experience consecutive losses, I even think that when they win, they also can't stop gambling because they might still want to get a bigger win. However, of course the losing factor still dominates, so even though they have won and are still gambling, that doesn't mean there is no loss. defeat is still there and will even be more painful when the victory that has been obtained is lost again, because of careless actions that only think about victory, not thinking about the defeat that will definitely happen.

When gambling ends in defeat or victory, the factor of not being able to stop gambling is real, they will not be able to stop gambling if they do not have a good understanding of gambling. I agree with you, gambling is not a place to make money for sure. Therefore, when you win or lose, you should be aware and know when to stop gambling or take a break, don't gamble continuously which can result in big losses. Prevention is better than cure, that's what's important. because if you are addicted it will be difficult to recover.
They can stop gambling when they already win because they want to a bigger win. It's normal happens to many gamblers because winning more money from gambling really tempting them to continue playing gambling. But that will be the time for them to see that is a wrong decision to continuing their gambling activity instead to stops gambling. They must think that when they win, they should grateful because not many gamblers can win like them and that's the time for them to quit gambling. If they can be wise in that situations, they will not suffer because of losing their win money and they can withdraw the win money and celebrate it with their friends or family.

Whatever the outcomes they got from gambling will not makes them stop gambling, especially if they were a gamblers that very often playing gambling before. It just makes them become addicted slowly if they can't realize the fact that continuing playing gambling can makes them lose control. They must realizes that gambling is not a places to make money but just a place to have fun.

If you look at the fact about the big chance of losing in gambling, then I think we should be able to stop after winning. Because the victory that is difficult to obtain or occur must be utilized properly, if you still want to gamble to get a bigger win, in my opinion, I hope you can cash out some of the winnings that have been obtained and gamble again with the money that was left behind, so that when you lose even the winnings that have been obtained are not lost entirely. Also that way I think such actions include smart and wise actions in gambling. Now if we are the ones who deposit more money in gambling then I think we are the losers not the casino losers, but when we cash out the winnings or make good use of it, then we are the winners, also if we still gamble with the winnings that have been obtained and end up losing because it is clear that it will definitely happen then we are not smart in gambling. So as much as possible we must be able to be smart in gambling so that the gambling that is done makes us experience large losses, knowing when to stop is difficult for gamblers who have been lulled by the victory in gambling even though victory is not easily obtained.

That's true, if they have responded or responded wrongly to gambling from the start, then the end of gambling, namely winning or losing, will not be able to make them stop gambling. I think they will stop gambling if they have a good conscience. When we win or lose, of course we have to stop and not continue because luck cannot be forced to win and defeat cannot be avoided. I agree with you that gambling is not a place to earn or make money even though there is a chance to win, it is not guaranteed. With those who are addicted to gambling I don't think they have good self control or any real awareness about gambling. Initially, they hope to double their money in gambling which drives them to become addicted  also because of the wrong thinking factor that leads them to losses or a cycle of gambling addiction And this is the result if we can't stop gambling when we should.

I think the fact that many people who gamble experience problems and big losses is probably because they don't have good self-control. to be able to stop gambling, of course, we have to have good self-control. it's true that knowing when to stop is not enoughecause if there is no action it's the same as lying. therefore we must have self-control, by having good self-control we can know when to stop and there must be action too not just a plan. with the many negative gambling cases, they tend to be greedy, because they have excessive expectations.

Emphasizing the fact about losses and losses is important because it will be realized by gamblers who really have good thinking and good self-control it is not thought about by those who only think about winning.  Therefore it is very important to be able to have self-control when gambling. That's right, it's not just about the game, but how we control our emotions.
Gambling tests mental strength, not luck. You say self-control? Holding back is important, but so is understanding loss psychology. Besides money, people lose quiet, leisure, and even relationships. Realizing the huge cost of poor living is vital, not simply knowing when to stop

Action speaks louder than plans. Setting clear boundaries and following them is key. Control must be absolute, not vague. What about greed feeding the fire? Right on. Gamblers go down a rabbit hole because of high expectations. Self-control is about valuing what you have over what you may win, not merely avoiding losses. Playing with discipline, alertness, and a sound exit strategy is more important than the cards you're given

So with winning in gambling it's not about luck? Do you think it's about skill and knowledge? Although yes, not all gambling is. And what is the difference between self-control and restraint? I think self-control and restraint are almost the same, maybe even restraint is in self-control. Knowing when to stop gambling is a must because they do have other things to fulfill that obviously cost money to handle, such as the cost of living basic needs, paying bills, whether it's electricity, water, or others. Now for those who can't stop gambling, why? I think they are already in the gambling habit, where they only think about the winnings they will get so they don't care about the losses that often happen to them. And obviously if they can't stop gambling of course they will become addicted which may damage their mentality, why this happens is because they don't think about the lucky side they have.

Setting boundaries is still the same as self-control, right? Is that different? The thing that must be considered in gambling is self-control, and self-control includes many things. Such as setting limits, budget and time limits for gambling, Realizing that gambling is not a means of making sure money, gambling carefully, and wisely in every action taken with gambling, discipline and responsibility. Because gambling is done on its own basis therefore the risks and adverse effects that may occur if we do not have good self-control when gambling.

* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.
Some people can’t do without gambling but if you complain to them about their addiction, they will say they can stop gambling whenever they want, but really they can’t stop gambling. Some people can’t do without gambling, but they don’t really know about it. If you want to know if you are not too attached to gambling, and if you can leave it whenever you want, just stop gambling for like a week or two weeks, if you didn’t go back to gambling before two weeks, then you can stop gambling.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.
That’s one great mistake addicted gamblers always make, they are not always satisfied with their win, even whenever they are in a good win, they will always keep on gambling hoping to increase their win, that’s why after winning good amount of money, they will end up wasting everything on gambling again.

* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.
Not everyone can stop when they are not even winning, they will think if they keep on gambling, they will be able to win back their previous loss, so they will always keep on gambling till they lose everything they are having with them.

If money were the only factor, quitting at the first sign of loss would be reasonable. But many dont. Why? Because the excitement, however tiny, of winning fuels the fire. Financially, this is risky. Game chances are mathematically against the player. The house always wins—a gaming axiom. Emotional highs blind people to this. This game is risky because the stakes are psychological and financial.

Awareness and self-control are crucial. Pause if the thrill becomes a pursuit that overshadows the financial consequences. Gambling should always be fun and budgeted for losses. Its important to know when entertainment becomes a financial risk.

But gambling can also be used as a test of luck, or a test of how lucky you are. The ability to control oneself is definitely a skill that every gambler should have, all people involved in gambling activities should or even required to have this skill in themselves, because indeed the idea of "controlling" can control everything, on the other hand emotions are one of the things that are difficult to overcome by most gamblers, which when they cannot control it then obviously some unwanted things will happen, such as losing larger amounts, feeling unusual pressure and tension.

On the other hand, yes your statement is quite impressive and it is indeed good for a suggestion that people can be more vigilant in their gambling involvement, but we cannot rule out that humans have a "forgetful" nature in them which in turn can certainly make them experience delays in terms of implementing or planning, or what it means is that someone can be quite easy to "forget" when they are really affected or cannot ignore some temptations that look tempting. The key is to maintain awareness so that we don't often make mistakes that shouldn't be made, such as forgetting to be vigilant and ending up in actions that are not actually based on ability.

Learning about gambling is learning about ourselves. People are wired for excitement and chase. The thrill is the same whether you win or lose. Real crux? Self-control. Without it, you're a leaf shaken by the wind. Prevention beats cure. But how many realize it before it's too late? Knowing when to stop isn't enough; you need the strength to do it. Honestly, that strength? It's rare. This win-lose cycle is brutal because of that. It exploits hope, greed, and desperation

So, the answer? Education, awareness, and most importantly, support. Stop praising the win and start emphasizing the cost: financially, emotionally, psychologically. Gambling reflects our deepest aspirations and concerns, not just a game. Realize it, and maybe you'll find the will to escape

I think it’s so difficult to stop because there is always a feeling that the win is close, that it’s just a little away. And it seems to problem gamblers that if they invest a little more money, they will win and all debts can be paid off. And so after each loss, it turns out that it all looks like a donkey who sees a carrot hanging in front of him and runs towards it, but cannot reach it. It is a volitional decision to stop making losses, and often gamblers with addiction problems cannot stop themselves. Even if they want to. An integrated approach is needed - you need to want to stop yourself and be supported by loved ones.
Mostly mental.
We cannot stop because our minds tell us those things. One more. The last one. Maybe I will win in 10 more bets. Why? Because people hate losing and that's why we won't stop especially if we are on the losing side where a big chunk of our capital was wasted and we have not seen any moment of a winning streak.
That's also one of the reasons why we cannot stop because we feel like we lost enough so the next rounds we are braver that we won't lose more as the gambling system should give us back something through the RTP. That's wrong. I think whatever we lose in gambling, we should forget about it because winning it back might be impossible.
I've seen different scenarios in my whole time of betting and there are a lot of times I almost lose all my capital in casino games before the RTP clicks.
But if it does and it puts you back to green, might as well pull out and cherish it first because next to it might be another losing streak.

If everyone do knows on when to stop specially when losing then we wont really be seeing this gambling field to be so much profitable into those platform owners or simply their numbers wont really be that as big on what we are seeing now.It is really just that it did really do the opposite thing on where people do easily lose that control and doesnt know on when to stop due to that gambling urge
and influx of emotions on which it is really that normal for a human being to have those reactions since we do love money and losing money is never been giving that good feeling.
Once you do become that impulsive then this is where decisions changes.

Even if you do say that you would be stopping once you do reach up your threshold but it wont really be something to be finalized
because once you do know that you do still have money to spare then its likely you would really be making more deposits.
It's difficult to stop gambling but that's what we must do if we don't want to get a big loss. Many people already loss much money so we don't need to follow what they got and always limiting our budget and control our bets. Spending money in gambling is easy, but it is difficult to control the money that we will used to place a bet. If we can do that, we will know when to stop because we will think that it is enough to gambling and now is the time to stop gambling. We will not continue playing gambling and chase the wins because we know how big the risk and we don't want to loss much money. Besides that, we don't want to be a compulsive gambler which can cause us to loss much. We want to be a wise gambler so we need to practices our self-control to be better and can help us to prevent the big loss.

When playing gambling, we don't need to make a goal reaching some money because that will difficult. We can only enjoy our time to playing gambling and not breaks our limit to avoid the big loss.

a losing streak can always be the main cause for gamblers who lose control and will ignore stopping gambling at the right time because a losing streak triggers very high emotions and anyone will definitely be tempted to try gambling again and at that time a gambler already has a mindset what is wrong is that he should not have done this because gambling is just a game that can entertain oneself and does not need to be pursued even if it is a losing streak.
and all of this also has other causes, such as gambling with money that he cannot afford to lose, so that when a losing streak uses up his budget, he will definitely continue to chase his losses depositing some more money after losing and regretting it.

at the time of regret, all gamblers must think why didn't I stop betting instead of chasing losses until they lost more and it is at the time of regret that gamblers have awareness because their emotions have started to decline after losing more money and they only have the thought that it is very important to stop gambling when they lose continuously.
Many gamblers gets a losing streak but that's not stop them from playing gambling in the other time. They will come back to the casino and continue playing the same game or pick the other games. Losing streak makes them can't think clear about the sign to stop their gambling but triggers their emotions increases and want to recover their losses. It makes them use more money to playing gambling and will not care about their limitations because they only want to get their money back. Their mindset already changed from using gambling for fun to recovering their lost and making money which makes them getting more losses and regret of what they have done. They will not obey their own rule about only gambling with the money you can afford because their minds only think about recovering their lost.

It's hard for a gambler to realize that they should stop gambling after losing streak. But some gamblers can do that and makes them to stop it right away before they lose more money. Those gamblers can think clear about the risk that can be bigger so they decide to stop their gambling activity. Those gamblers know how to stop before loss control.

Well, I think the thing is, it's all about luck, luck and nothing else but luck, I have come across gamblers who lost everything, then again, made another deposit and continued gambling, and they ended up winning back all the money they previously lost, and even ended that gambling session with a good profit.
In gambling, it's important for us to know that, loses don't continue and last for ever, and that a second or minute is capable of turning what was initially a long losing streak to a life changing wins, I guess this is what keeps those gamblers who know this; going, for they believe that at any point in time, things could turn around for their good, and fortunately, it does most times turn for some gamblers, but unfortunately for some, it ends as a continues loss.

What I personally have stopped doing is blame gamblers for not quitting when they were losing and losing and losing, for if the situation was the other way round, like they lost but didn't give up, and eventually won, I would call them heros for not giving up,  why them should I blame the one who did exactly the same thing (not giving up) but only ended up in more loses because luck wasn't on his side?
Yes, it's all about luck, and because of that makes many gamblers still return to gambling and hopes that in the next round, they can win some money. They will deposit more money to continue their gambling activity and forget about their previous losses because they come to the gambling because of wanting to get their money back. When they playing gambling, they must realize that they will difficult to win so they should not risk much money to bet. Knowing that they don't have bigger chance to win should make them become wise spending their money because in gambling, they can face many times losing their money.

We can't blame gamblers for not quitting when they were losing because that will be up to them. If they think that they can win in the next round, they will still playing gambling. We can only advice them not using more money to gamble. That is just an advice and once again, that will be ups to them. They will not gives up from gambling before they win but even if they win, they will not stops right away because they will become greedy and want more winnings.

For the most part, people play for the andrenaline. Money is often a pleasant aid, nothing more. Of course, there are those who play to earn money - but there are not very many of them. And the more a person loses, the more andrenaline he has. It sounds, of course, wild - but if you do some experiments, it turns out to be exactly so

One of the most important factor of a successful gambler is to know when to stop, most gamblers expecially the addictive type don't even know what is stop when it comes to gambling. So it's very important to;
* Stop when your losing is now getting to you.

* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.

* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.

* When your losing is weighing you down, stop and restrategize .
