Those are really good contents for a newbie to start with, so that he or she would not get Mileased through other individuals Bitcoin misconception, already there are most people in the society of the country they are but they don't just believe in Bitcoin because of one bad experience they have had or maybe their friends was the person that had the bad investment with some crypto currency as a result of that, they themselves also becomes hater of Bitcoin and when ever they talks, they speak with obsession and misconception, for a newbie or Bitcoiner who has got a grounded knowledge about Bitcoin, the person can speak to defend Bitcoin, but if a newbie who doesn't have a good knowledge about Bitcoin is also there, they can easily get convinced towards the negative idea about Bitcoin from haters. This is good content, like I said before.

Rollbit - the casino for you. Take $RLB token!
The mining fees required to spend one transaction, and the amount of time we need to wait in order to get one single confirmation are also very high for a cryptocurrency or in comparison with other means of payment in 2023. This despite limited features (no smart contracts, no real anonymity, hardly safe, ...)
I want to have cheaper transaction fee but if a faster block like 5 minutes, 1 minute potentially reduce safety for my confirmed transaction and put my trade deal with a trade partner at risk of like blockchain rollback, double attacks, I will not vote for faster block time.

I still believe that safety should be the first factor for any transaction and trade deal. Waiting 10 minutes or 30 minutes to have enough confirmations and make the transaction less likely to be reverted is very acceptable.

If anyone wants to have faster transaction and cheaper fee, they can use Lightning network.

Criticism is part of success because work without criticism does not progress well any wise and intelligent people love criticism and tolerating criticism is a part of growing up, so criticism is using it as a tool against your mind. Satan will throw you many obstacles and overcome these obstacles. This content is very important for beginners. If you are going to do or try to do something big, people will criticize those who can endure it and survive will be successful. In my opinion let them give more criticism and if you see this criticism as positive as you will see that you have done better for his criticism. It is natural that Bitcoin will not fail for every reason
***Bitcoin is working in every field in today's world so you better understand Bitcoin first then present various arguments and its application point of a view Be able to convince them that it is applicable, and you will win the argument with them and the critics will speak for you.
I agree with you, it's also important to listen to the criticisms of detractors, because despite being a religion for some maximalists, Bitcoin is a creation of humans, and even if we don't know the precise identity of its creator, it's not perfect. The amount of computing resources and energy used per transaction are questionable, and should be addressed more efficiently IMO. The mining fees required to spend one transaction, and the amount of time we need to wait in order to get one single confirmation are also very high for a cryptocurrency or in comparison with other means of payment in 2023. This despite limited features (no smart contracts, no real anonymity, hardly safe, ...)

You are right and I truly think the newbies need the right information so they don't get distracted. However, as for the caption of the post, I don't see any need for newbies to engage in argument with critics.
Firstly getting or seeking for knowledge is a very vital survival methodology that every newbie must have to be able to survive and thrive in this ecosystem. But seeking for knowledge to be able to engage critic's is a very wrong approach as it will be of more harm than good to every newbie who thread such path. Knowledge/information for growth should be the drive.

There are several dangers in acquiring knowledge for the sake of engagement with critics, it makes the information less useful and beneficial to you because after every argument you tend to ditch the knowledge acquired as it has served it's purpose which aught not to be so. Getting knowledge aught to be for the purpose of growth to the individual who has seek such knowledge. The idea of an argument is even a very wrong perception to begin with, as a newbie you are supposed to rather engage in conversation for the purpose of gaining knowledge for growth and never arguing with critics or whosoever.

An individual with the knowledge of inflation and currency devaluation especially if they are from a country that is not doing so well economically, can easily argue with any critic from a practical and real life application point of view about how bitcoin adoption improves the economic prospects of a country using El Salvador as a case study. There's so much that country has achieved in a year that would make great points.
The prevalent spiking inflation has saved bitcoin so much trouble as fiat currency is no more adequately giving the deliverables of a reliable currency with so many people forced by the harsh economic impact of the fiat system to fall on to cryptocurrency mostly bitcoin as an alternative adoption for the failing fiat currency with it's associated constant devaluation and central control. Even in countries where the government places restrictive measures and ban on bitcoin, those that have been privileged to earn the knowledge and benefits of bitcoin are not deterred by their actions as they keep holding on to bitcoin without allaying fears.

You have created an awesome topic, dear OP, I found many answers to my queries which I had in my mind but I mostly Ignore them. Maybe due to my laziness. But for a second, I thought I should click on your all links and spend some time in reading some topics. And after reading the very first topic I found out a good answer to a query that almost every person (who is not involved in crypto) asked me. And that is:
Bitcoins are worthless because they aren't backed by anything
source I found a very valid answer to this query and thanks to you. I have bookmarked other topics and I will nourish myself with some useful knowledge about BTC. And whenever I a newbie will come here with doubts, I will mention your topic.

https://endthefud.org/ This link is comprised of great topics, I read only a few but reading them in a short time for a person is impossible. But I have a question, where did you find this website? As this website is not ranked and seems personal to you (means, some website are so unique and under-rated that only a few people know about them while those same websites consists of a hell lot of useful content). Where did you find it?

Newbies, if you want to start learning bitcoin, it is important for you to protect yourself in time from various information garbage and all sorts of speculations related to bitcoin and its technology. For 14 years of its existence, bitcoin has grown a lot of myths, which are still actively broadcast in the space. Don't get caught in the web of myths and speculation. In any discussions related to criticizing bitcoin, it is important to arm yourself with knowledge. For this purpose, I will recommend you a good set of services and articles that will help you understand everything.

Wow, I am very excited to see this thread because this thread will guide not only newbies but also other members that might have little knowledge about the bitcoin ecosystem, but if you can read this article and understand, I assure you, you will never mind in any way to defend bitcoin, and it will also encourage you to explore more and also teach others that are interested but think that bitcoin is a scam. Those people need adequate knowledge about bitcoin itself and its ecosystem.

The first decentralized crypto betting platform
Possibly those and even more but,
Why do I need to argue? Do I really need that?

I agree, but not only because of what you say. I don't argue with anyone about bitcoin because I don't want anyone to know I have bitcoin. I don't want to put myself in the crosshairs of potential thieves, kidnappers or the government. In this privacy-conscious forum, the only thing missing was for people to take privacy measures to the maximum so that their bitcoins could not be traced on the blockchain but then go around arguing in bars about it.

I do agree that education is the key to somewhat "argue" against bitcoin critics.

And far as the environment goes, there is also one great thread by @fillippone Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument. It's every important because this is the recent attack on bitcoin, so we need to shatter this myth together with those other mentioned by the OP.

Possibly those and even more but,
Why do I need to argue? Do I really need that? To make everyone believe my words to be true and perhaps go by what I say… naahhh, I’m not sure I need that. I don’t find myself being obligated by anything to try and convince someone other than, the person having to realize just how helpful it would be for them to take to a side that has got bitcoin in it. If the investor’s prospect doesn’t agree, then it’s okay for them to go with whatever gives them peace.

The only time I feel i might have a course to argue is in the event of me having to put out a proposal and have needs to defend it against them critics. Other than that, am just okay buying and hodling while making my achievements silently. I’ll prefer that to having to argue with anyone who just feel they are at the top of knowledge.

These are a good collection of list about proving Bitcoin isn't a scam as other thought.  Knowing what is on the link can refute anyone that says Bitcoin is a huge ponzi scheme and may make the change of heart of the unbeliever.  Although I do not want to argue with anyone that has a different point of view, learning what is on the link can strengthen our understanding and belief about the Bitcoin and its impact to the human financial system.  Thus we will not easily persuade by those who wanted to see Bitcoin industry to fail.

Op thanks for the Guidelines the newbies will surely learn from this thread, because is very important as a newbie to be more knowledgeable about Bitcoin because in the world of crypto knowledge is very important and should never be taking for granted imagine being on a crypto discussion and you could not offer any idea or suggestion about Bitcoin due to lack of knowledge so that's one of the reason why newbies needs knowledge to survive on Bitcoin, understanding the ecosystem and the concept of Bitcoin a newbies can never pay attention to critics because he knows what should be done. With knowledge you can eradicate FUD and can never be influenced by rumors and discouraging news about Bitcoin.

Thanks for sharing these threads; it would help newbies survive in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Often, Bitcoin investors will encounter a lot of FUD. To be honest, the FUD sometimes even scared our brains and attempted to dump our portfolio. If we don't have the proper knowledge, then we can't survive during heavy FUD. We have to learn how to face these kinds of FUD, rumours, and bad news. Otherwise, it will be hard to hold and survive on Bitcoin. We don't need too much study; just see the whole Bitcoin chart and realise where we are now and what will happen in the future.
I just scanned through the materials and found out that they contain relevant topics that will be helpful not only to newbies but to everyone. Most of the news we get from the media are designed to promote some kind of agenda.  Some politicians and economists use the media to spread FUD in the Bitcoin space just to discourage people from embracing this decentralized coin. One of the frontline a piece of news is promoting news that Bitcoin consumes more electricity and destroys the environment. Meanwhile, the energy consumption of Bitcoin is highly overestimated just for the sake of achieving their agenda. I will have to find time to read the recommended materials and I encourage newbies to check them out.

Bitcoin Obituaries might suit also in this thread. I heard so many people thinking that Bitcoin has been dead already for x number of years and I just can't help it but cringe into their statements regarding it. I think it's finally a time to educate some unaware individuals that Bitcoin could "die over and over again" Cheesy .

Not sure if it is really for Bitcoin critics, but hey just going to add my inputs in here.

As bitcoin is fast growing they are so many people and nations already against its adoption because of its decentralised nature which prevents any central body from controlling it making it a hate project for many government body but those who know it's true value are still adopting it.
Do not mind anyone that says the government do not like bitcoin, bitcoin is strictly banned in few countries, most countries allow their people to buy, sell and hold bitcoin. Just that their will always be critics. Even as bitcoin has proved these critics wrong so many times, many of them still prefer to criticize bitcoin. Out of hundreds of countries in the world, less than 15 countries strictly ban it while others allow it in one way or the other.

If bitcoin be for me...
As a newbie I'll entreat on guilding myself with the knowledge and informations about bitcoin not for the sake of argument but for the purpose of strengthening my resolute about bitcoin and the bitcoin blockchain network.

Anything for the sake of argument may probably raise some tension giving an edge to their garbage speculations about bitcoin making them feel they might be right or true about their myths.

Theit arguments doesn't change a thing about bitcoin. For the past 14 years they have been giving the garbage what have they achieved?
