 i have 2 questions.

1- Where can i download the android wallet?

2- when Spendable coins turns stake coins?

he was just showing us his progress its not ready yet

And for #2:
When your coins are used to create a block, they go into the stake held coins. Then after 50 confirms, or 50 minutes, they free up and go back to spendable.

Kobocoin - Mobile Money for Africa
Android wallet update:

The packager installer works OK

install

install

menu'd

in the app (on bitcoin testnet hence the mBTC and currency being striked out)

I'm using the bitcoin test network until kobocoinj is up and running and then I'll point the app at the kobocoin blockchain (after testing).

I like scanning QR codes, even when I know it's wrong!

And finally ... the kobocoin signature!

Next step is to get kobocoinj up and running. But not now. I'm going to get some rest and spend some time with my daughters (when they wake up!)

Kobocoin - Mobile Money for Africa
An a little buy support around 170-190 could be good to consolidate the market Smiley
I hear you, and I've had a look at the state of things. I don't think it's required right now. Trading has been relatively healthy. I think it's best to let things settle. There's still a lot of PoW coins out there on the exchanges. Currency growth is <1000 KOBO per day now and a lot of that won't reach the market soon as some people are REALLY staking.  Cheesy

Why my coins not stake? they are all spendable

They try to stake... Each wallet talks to everyone else, and they have a difficulty number to beat. This difficulty number helps keeps the blocks 60 seconds apart, as it will average out to. The wallets get this by some calculation on the age of the coins and the size of the piece, the bigger and older, the better chance you have. If you turn on coin control, then choose to send, and choose the input, you can see your pieces.

Take, for example, the coins I think will stake next for me. 1432 coins in one spendable output that has aged 15137 confirms so far, that's about 252 hours old. If you look at one of the recent blocks created, block 47054, it was about 24563 Kobo and it was generated by the creation of block 44877. It had 2176 confirmations when it split--about 36 hours after generation. I chose that block since it was a super easy one for an example, that was the second time that address staked.

So lets say those coins, that created block 47054, had a rating of 53,449,088 (age times size). My next stake would rate as 21,676,184 now--looks like it still has a ways to go. This is just a basic example of how it works. Depending on the time of day and who has their wallet open, means some times it's easy for lower difficulties, other times it's hard.

Yikes, another dev who can't code

His coding skills are better than mine, he's done really well so far, let's see what he can do, he looks like he knows what he's doing. Cool

Anyone who knows how to use the android sdk and compile in maven can the see the wallet as it progresses - https://github.com/kobocoin/kobocoin-wallet. At this moment it's just the bitcoin-wallet fork (so if you clone it you're just cloning a bitcoin wallet).

Once the repository is updated, all that's needed for anyone else to compile the Android wallet (once you've cloned it) is the following commands:

cd kobocoin-wallet
git fetch origin
git checkout origin/prod
mvn clean install

It will build the apk file for your phone. At that point I email it to myself and install it. I've use the emulators but I prefer to see it on a working phone.

I'll be updating the repository a few times over the weekend.

Do your thing, I have every faith. Smiley
