What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

if you have only one account in this forum you will never be afraid of this kyc procedure. it is the rules of the bounty giver that will prevail. in some times, kyc helps specially in actual counting of legit participants. i think it is okay for me to have kyc

Very good point to mention. I can't understand how the team can't determine from the beginning that if they'll require kyc or not? It actually seems unprofessional to me

I think KYC is really needed for all bounty, thats will reduce some cheater who use multiple account. but on your situation (announce KYC needed when bounty already end) yes, its not fair.

I had to loose many bounty rewards simply because my documents were not closer to me. The problem is I wouldn’t have joined such bounties if they made it clear that KYC was a requirement for rewarding. I also think it’s high time they announced KYC requirements before bounties get started

The manager should provide clear information for the KYC-related bounty hunter that is required to claim bounty payments, so that hunter does not have trouble getting his rights.
Very strange to get 1 $ have to make a passport to get it.

This question can not be answered - it's good or bad. As far as I understand, the identification procedure is necessary in accordance with the legislation and should be applied to the bounty payments as well. But this does not guarantee either a rise of the price of the token, or a lack of a scam.

Nobody said KYC requirement is crazy. We all know that it is sometimes needed. We would only like to know from the beginning, so we can pick bounties accordingly.

The same applies for airdrop, they say for example 5$ for FB, Twitter and Telegram support, they get 50k followers because of it and then they say we need KYC. I'm not sending document scans for 5$ and I should know whether I will need to do KYC before I participate in an airdrop or in bounty program.

Not letting people know IS scamming them because we do something for these companies as well, something they said will be paid and eventually is not.

If the bounty requires a KYC for us to get compensated, we cannot do something about that. But for us many bounty hunters, it is better not to have KYC at the end of the project. For investors, it is okay to have KYC.

I think it's good! but Of course it should be an easy KYC On the claim, DO NOT MAKE A HARD TO THE CAMPAIGN PARTICIPANTS when rewards will be shared

Yes, that is very bad that they asked for KYC at the end because it's not a good thing. Most of the people don't like to give their personal details to anyone as it's not secure because no one knows that the details are safe or not. If ICO needs KYC they should mention before the start of bounty so only those people participate who can give their KYC.

I think it's messed up to announce KYC after campaign is over and it makes them look shady. However, I don't mind it if it's something minimum like your e-mail address and country but if they ask for identification proof then that makes me nervous. I don't know what their intention could be behind announcing it once is over. It should be announced on the first page when they create bounty threads.

If KYC is required, this should be clearly stipulated on the terms of the bounty, although I do appreciate that bounty mangers can amend the rules of the campaigns, and perhaps have not been informed of this requirement at the beginning.

I am not in favour of KYC at the end of a bounty campaign mostly because our personal data should remain anonymous, but what it does pose an issue when you've worked hard and then you have to do KYC.

Has anyone been in this situation, where they've done the bounty (no KYC stated), and then is asked for it. What did you do?

I think it's okay to do the KYC because there are a lot of multi-accounts and other dishonest bounty members. The fact that it is declared at the end of the bounty is certainly not very good.

I don't like such managers behavior. If bounty requires KYC, than that should be announced first. IF not, it's unfair to change the rules during the game.
Probably that is needed to freeze tokens during kyc in order to postpone their coins sell, or pay not to all people.

There is both good and bad aspects of KYC. Multiple accounts is one reason for demanding KYC but the genuine persons have no problem to provide KYC.
But here is not a matter of genuine peoples or multiple accounts. While there is a matter of genuineness of company. After the completion of bounty campaign if they demands for KYC then this thing clearly shows that, they don't want to pay bounty hunters for there promotions and it's not a good thing.

Don't take part in long bounty campaigns and you will not lose a lot of time and powers. Ask bounty manager about KYC, if you afraid to show you passport.

I would be really mad If I faced such situation. But I suppose in case of ending bounty there is no other way, when you are forced.
