For me, its okay that the bounty manager opens that up before the start of the campaign. But when the bounty manager only announces that at the end of the campaign period, it will be a total disaster to those bounty hunters upon claiming their reward token. Not all bounty hunters already have a complete documents to passed the KYC. Also, the bounty managers will be prone to negative trust issues. We don't want to happen that right? Wink

What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

KYC or know your customer, it is very important to those ICOs that they have doing kyc to those who are investing to them or to the bounty members. to know the identity of buyers to preventthe scamming and hacking of coins.

There is a good effect also having a kyc in fairness because they want to determine if you have a multiple accounts, a lot of members here has a multiple accounts so to be fair with other members they implement this kyc.
Yeah!In KYC I dont have any problem with that because I'm true to my Identity in this kind of online income. This is also the big reason that the ICO participants will disciplined to have a multi account.

I have noticed the new decision by most bounty project asking for KYC after the end of the ICO as a condition to be rewarded. Despite it was not part of the condition initially. They forget that is not every one that has those documentation they are demanding. They are looking for a way not to pay and withhold those coins for themselves.

I think every thing in life should have a laid down rules guiding it. I think the bounty managers are to post the rules of each campaign before starting off the campaign. With this, the bounty hunters would be well aware of what is awaiting them after the campaign

KYC is a good thing, but rules and regulations must be first explained by manager before the start, so that everyone knows and should not consider FUD before the end of the campaign.

For me, asking KYC when they bounty campaign is over is not fair on the bounty hunter's side. Bounty manager should declare if before the bounty starts so that bounty hunters will have an option on joining the said campaign or not.

But i agree with this KYC thing because it is to make sure that no one will participate in a bounty campaign with multiple accounts.

I think all this is due to the fact that the changes in the legislation of various countries are constantly being introduced. But I believe that the project team must calculate the situation in advance when they need kyc for the bounty
The legislation are only for investors and not for bounty hunters. Besides, bounty managers are not qualified to collect personal information to their bounty participants. I also doubt if the bounty managers will comply with the rules they have.

My attitude is rather positive concerning KYC requirements. However, if bounty projects require it in the end of campaign (with limited time to pass it) it looks like cuts of bounty payments

I think it is a way of scamming people, you are adding requirements after someone has done the work for you. Fully knowing that a lot of people won't go ahead because who wants to give their information to a random person.
This is absolutely true. Why give personal information about yourself to strangers. Especially when it is announced at the end of the company. What they can do with my personal information is unknown. I'm generally puzzled by the Kyc. We are not investors.

they should announce charging kyc at the beginning of bounty instead of end bounty
this is very unfair, but if the need is forced I will fill the kyc

I think KYC for bounty is a good thing. There are many scammers who uses multiple accounts to participate in bounty campaigns and earns some big amount. KYC is a good way to stop them indeed.

I do not know to be honest. I think clear communication from the beginning is what is the most fair. But, I do not always see why know your customer would be required for a bounty.

The introduction of KYC at the end of the company is a bad action. Much easier, and it would be better (and I think we will come to this) if before the beginning of the bounty the company immediately announced and conducted KYC, thereby, those who do not bother KYC could immediately go through it BEFORE doing the work.

I don't think it's not fair, it's fair for me,
I also joined a lot of bounties that require us to do KYC at the end of bounty campaign, but it's worth it after i got the tokens, so i don't think it's unfair

Its a bit unfair to announce this at the end of the bounty. Its better to announce it at the beginning so that bounty hunters can decide if they will join that bounty or not

It is really unfair if they needed KYC at the end of bounty campaign, people who join bounty and already work but cannot KYC will suffer with huge disappointment and its really unfair for them.

I've said it before, a campaign I participated in wanted me a kyc. I just do not know how trustworthy these projects are, which makes it very ridiculous, ico that bounty campaign is being given for kyc. Unfortunately we can not complain to anyone.
