Airdrop is not worth the risk and in most cases the bounty as well, right now I have a bad situation with this- bounty manager did say with big red letters in thread that there will be no KYC but after ICO needed, they changed their mind and now they ask for KYC which is painful - one wants to get paid but is it worth it to get your ID lost.

I refuse to give my ID to projects which store them on their insecure websites and then do with them hell knows what.

I completely agree with you, KYC for airdrop is now in my opinion not relevant, but there is a high-paid airdpos, for 2-3 months I found 3 such projects for about $ 300. But still, the amount is very small, so I refused them a long time ago.

Airdrop by definition is a small amount which is dropped to a lot of people.
The only way how it could be worth it, is that the value skyrockets at one point of time.
This means that this is gambling.
We don't talking about what's the definition of airdrop nor bounty on here. We are also know if 99% airdrops only waste our time because it's almost worth nothing.
The question actually was simple, what do you think about KYC on bounty and airdrop?

I thought that it was clear that giving your KYC is an additional risk, because it could be lost intentionally or not  just because KYC is not done right and security is week.
So the risk of KYC and the possibility of hitting the jackpot in airdrop is not worth of my time and I would not recommend anyone who is asked to do KYC for airdrop to not do it.

KYC for bounty is good but for Airdrops it is completely waste due to low value in the market and which it is through we can able to see growth and development of the project. But Some Airdrops are cheating the people who are not aware the procedure. For airdrops, it is completely waste submitting the KYC documents.

I have participated in several airdrop projects that require KYC verification, but unfortunately, I did not receive any rewards!

I won't participate in the airdrops that require KYC verification, because I don't believe in airdrops. I think most of the airdrops just want to use our privacy to make money!

Agree with your view. I am ignore all kinds of airdrops that require KYC verification. My question is, Are the tokens they given really valuable so that they require KYC?
I don't know and have never seen an airdrop require kyc.
when this worthless airdrop I also ignored airdrop for a while. still looking for a profitable one.

I don't like the bounties or airdrops which require KYC, and I think the most bounty hunters don't like it, and even some of them provide fake documents just to take their rewards. The decentralization, and the anonymity are the best features of the whole crypto world, we don't need to reveal our identity in order to receive our deserved rewards from bounties.

That's so much of a requirement to have a KYC just to receive an airdrop tokens. Normally, investors are the only ones who are asked to submit for KYC before they can purchase tokens because that's what KYC is all about. There's a good effect of KYC but i am much more concerned of its negative effect so i'd rather ditch bounty or airdrops that ask for one.
Its sometimes good to join bounties that requires KYC , by that time that bounties takes many participants earning bigger amount is impossible, as long as the team and project seems good KYC will be fine, the fewer the participants the better.

the lesser the participants means the lesser the traffic that a project will get , so they wont likely to become succesful as when compared to the bounty that has a huge number of particpants . therfor kyc's in an ico is not really a good idea in my opinion .

speaking of kyc's , i already see some service regarding on the kyc process . what they do is that they provide fake id's/passports to their costumers if they wanted to hide thier own identity . with that said , kyc's arent really an indication that all  of the users are legit .

I will not provide my identity privacy to any airdrop project unless the token is already on the market! Because most airdrops are fraudulent, they use our privacy to make money!

no, I will never join Airdrop using KYC, because I myself am afraid of being hit by air attacks if information on the platform can be misused as an illegal transaction and fraud.

now use KYC to bounty very the risk. too many are utilizing the KYC for the poor thing. it can be detrimental to people who have signed up with KYC. better avoid the following bounty by using KYC.

I never join on any airdrop requiring KYC its because its kinda risky and hassle. Imagine your giving of your information and also doing an effort for just a low value of token or sometimes no value tokens. Even do its kinda help on reducing redundant of participants but it cost much effort without assurance of great return.

I think kyc for bounties or airdrop is a must have for every project because it can minimize fraud and increase fairness for everyone. Thanks for listening

Airdrop must use KYC, most of it is fraud and I am afraid that my identity will be used by irresponsible people, yesterday I took the airstrip and had to use my Kyc in my eth address key, and from the beginning I did not know that it was trap to take my token in my wallet. I lost my token and eth

I have always wondered why some airdrops and bounties require KYC. When one project have such a strange request, i chose not to do it directly. I want to protect my information more than anything else.
