To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.

This is the sad reality of bounty hunting, changing rules at the last minute because they know that bounty hunters do not like this KYC thing, and they will not attract bounty hunters if they implement it right away, these bounty managers should be tagged for doing this. it's cheating bounty hunters.

I think that if the bounty of the company in which you participate will be requested to complete the KYC, even at the end of the bounty of the company, it is still most hunters will send their documents.

For me I am not really against KYC, if any ICO choose to KYC their bounty hunters, they are free to do that but what i am against is not informing the bounty hunters at a start that there will be a KYC, if they stated that KYC will be required and you join, then no body should be blamed.

Yes does not solve KYC problems with cheaters. They can decide only if they are asked to confirm the address with a receipt or a document from the Bank. And then, in garnete there are reference. The question of price.

Yes, alas, it is. Now you can buy any documents on the darknet, I would like to hope that my documents are not there. It's terrible that going through this procedure, we risk that our documents will fall into the wrong hands.

Its very much possible for bounty hunters to be cheated more especially when the whole kyc process is not been announced earlier during the bounty program and later on or after the program. bounty managers should be able to state out everything to every participants

KYC is necessary but i think it should be done at the beginning of the campaign so you would have known your faith , after the project that the campaign manager will now tell you that you did not pass kyc .

I think I agreed to a great extent on this. This always pop up whenever a project tries to play smart with refusing to award payments for job done on the part of hunters. Some will only introduce KYC once bounty campaigns have ended, changing the rules just because they have the powers to do so without being questioned. Others make their KYC procedures very difficult to scale through and with that, they ensure only part of the rewards due are paid to hunters. I strongly believe KYCs should not be introduced to bounty hunting because it makes no sense. Someone has worked for you and as such should be paid without excuses.

In most cases, of course this is done in order not to pay , but of course you need to be ready to pass kyc, because in some projects give good money

Most of the projects (SCAM) that require KYC, collect databases, to then use them for their own purposes or resell ...

Cheat ?? could be possible if there was no early notification from the bounty manger to bounty hunters then i can consider that as wanting to cheat but if there was and it was not done then its the bounty hunter to blame

I also think that the confirmation of identity through KYC should be distributed only to investors.
Bounty hunters are really hired part-time workers.
Making them pass identification does not make any sense at all except to collect their own base of people interested in cryptocurrency.

I once attended one of the ICOs, I had to pass a passport and I did not have it except the resident card and it was rejected, it was really outrageous or they accidentally played the Kyc

I see many bounties change the rules after the campaign ended. In the beginning, they stated no need KYC to join their bounties but after the bounties ended, they announced to do KYC for the reward distribution. Moreover, they cut the bounty allocation after participants do KYC. Finally, participants only get pennies even though they did KYC. Suffer two disadvantages at once.  Sad
I also saw such campaigns and I believe that this is a fraud against bounty hunters. In addition, they often threaten participants in general to deprive them of their earned reward if they challenge the decision of the campaign and discuss it in public. Such projects should pay for this with their reputation and, therefore, commercial success. Society should not be loyal to fraudsters  Angry

In General,it is easy, not just saw this, the people sent the data, and the token was not received, well, what to do he did not pass the KYC, although he may have passed, just his tokens decided to pick up the guys, they really liked them, managers who lead projects are not always Honest, and because of this suffer simple bounty

i dont feel cheated when i am ask to fill out kyc forms. it is a security for us legit bounty hunters from bounty hunters using multiple accounts but just a single person. kyc for me is just support to the project that i believe will become successful.
Same opinion, there is no other way how to fight with multiaccount spammers. Like someone who creates 20 accounts to get more tokens.
I have no problem with KYC because I am honest bounty participant.
