Do you guys think there is a solution to this? On the one hand, requiring everyone to go through KYC is a regulatory requirement for a company, otherwise they may have problems later.

what's the difference between bounty and airdrops?
It's both a social media marketing. Why do you think bounty KYC is more safety? Smiley

This is certainly a big stupidity, given that the figures involved are ridiculous. In any case, I do not send my data to an unknown entity for a few pennies.

This is already becoming a trend that bounty campaigns say that you need to go through the procedure of the KYC right before the distribution of the tokens.

I think such procedure must be anounced at the start of the bounty and people who don't want to give their data just won't take part in it. It will be fair enough.

I think it's not right when project managers want to see my personal information. Participants of the bounty do not invest their money. They just do some work for the project. This is true only for investors.

I think that in this situation, every participant of the bounty must decide for himself whether he needs it or not. I am negative about the fact that I will need to disclose my personal information to someone.

Do you think, guys, that those companies hold way too many documents about us? I don't think this is how it should be.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I think these are the hunters' hurts. This should not be the case, because a network of crypto currency must provide anonymity. And here I have to show my documents to someone unbeknownst to me.
Moreover, bounty hunters get little money for their work. This can be called money laundering? It causes very strong displeasure with me. If there is a KYC requirement in the campaign bounty, then I will not participate in such a campaign.  Angry

It might be their rules or the company is based in United States because US have law about bounty programs if I am not mistaken, all token holders must do KYC to avoid money laundering and funding terrorist

Members of the generosity campaign, including those participating in the signature campaign, can not conduct any illegal cash transactions because they do not invest their personal money, thus participating in the ICO campaign. Therefore, it makes no sense to require them to provide identification information or copies of their identity cards. Participants in the signature campaign have the right to perform their work without anyone knowing them.

In any case, the requirement for additional data must be clearly stated before joining the signature campaign. The demand for such data after the termination of the ICO at the stage of payment of earned tokens can actually be regarded as a form of fraud, since in fact they are already being presented for the purpose of not paying the earned tokens.

This is my own point of view

kyc is usually requested as a condition of financial rules in a country so if a bounty project comes from a country requiring kyc terms then they will ask for it but not if the state does not ask for that condition

It's just a step more to a total control of the cryptomarket, but it's against it's core philosophy!
And when you are identified, you don't know where your data will arrive.
I suspect that some airdrops are just made to collect some data.

This bounty hunters kyc issue is really unbecoming. Kyc is meant for investors and not bounty hunters since they are not customers. Even if their country requires kyc,  it is not responsible to ask agents who marketed their product to provide verification.

I saw one recently that offered 50k tokens for KYC Verification. For what???
