I think it's better if all participants in the project are asked to verify KYC, all of them, and the team
if applied then it will minimize cheating and scam, because the bounty hunter cannot commit fraud in the form of multiple accounts and the team will not dare to scam

I think it is a good idea to go through KYC at the beginning of the campaign, then it will be immediately clear whether your documents will be accepted or not and whether it makes sense to spend your time participating in the promotion.

I think that the procedure of KYC, no one will cancel. Problems bounty hunters are not interesting to developers and bounty managers.

In my experience KYC is mandatory sometimes. In idex TXN campaign lose of the real value in the bear ma. FotgKYC could get in real value.

Mandatory might be.. but not for bounty, only if option to avoid scammers.
But, what about second part, not really sure what you meant to say with that..

I agree only with one part of what you have written - there should be announced KYC even before the start of the bounty campaign, it's really unfair when someone spends time by doing this and after that you learn that you will not be rewarded.
But KYC really should be in all bounty campaigns, you will get crypto coins and that means you must not have them if you are U.S. citizen or other country. That's simple, you have to work according the law.

i fully agree at the ico / sto the kyc should be reserved for investors / whales and not to the bounty hunters who help the icos to get publicity/visibility i do not see why to force them to the kyc

Yeah, but I think KYC should be stopped for everyone.
There are absolutely no laws and regulations that require KYC in crypto.
The only potential one I can think of, is in America, they might require it in the future for securities.
But the vast majority of crypto isn't a security token and the law doesn't exist, people just htink that maybe it will in the future.

Also, it really shows just how crazy the crypto world is.
All of these ICOs don't even have the most basic understanding of how jursidiction works.
The SEC (which is an american government agency) can not "catch" or prosecute an ICO in another country.
They just can't.
In the same way that police in France can't just walk over to Russia, flash their badge, and arrest people, countries laws don't apply outside that country.
To me, this is just common sense and basic knowledge.

So that means that ICOs don't have common sense, or they are getting bad legal advice.

I'm glad that none of my past and present campaign asked for KYC or have to change the rule to undergo KYC I rather change my campaign than go through KYC I'm not a big fan of KYC on bounty and it's a big no-no for me I only do it for centralized exchange with compliant

If there are other ways to verify bounty hunters because of the issue of fraud the idea of bounty hunters giving out their information is not so welcomed then there will be no need to for kyc and also its should be announced at the very beginning of the project

I think since Bounty hunters and airdrop participants are not under obligation Anti money laundering law standards, kyc should not be for them but rather ICO and STO participants who pay for these coins from fiat conversion

KYC should be stop in having bounties as long as the project is not yet successful.
Kyc can be stop if you will not join any bounties with KYC requirement ( this should be announce at the start of campaign)

in my opinion, kyc is also very in need to avoid fraud
you fail if you may not be careful to fill all the data they need
If they want to avoid cheating, there are other ways to verify participants. There is no need to verify KYC to get their information. And what will they do with our information?

What is KYC? It means knowing your customer. In KYC some requirements are required such as: Full Name, Residence address, Citizenship, Birth date, Photo of government issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID card),
Social Security number or Tax Identification, Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Photo of bank card .

I honestly think kyc should be stopped for bounty hunters, reason being that we are not buying the token of the project ,rather we are rendering services  to create awareness for the project. Which ought to be paid for.

In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.

I did a bounty which i passed, and earned some amount of the token, but i failed kyc and my effort was gone just like that, after rendering my services to them by promoting the project. I got really pained.

This is just an example of what is happening.

What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
KYC should not be needed for a bounty hunter because we only get very little payment and it's not comparable to our data, identity data is very dangerous if given to people we don't know.

I would advice the developers who wants to implemented KYC in there projects to implement from the very start ,those who doesn't like KYC will leave without wasting there time and those who has nothing against KYC will join ,this way you can earn trust from participants and investors ,staying true to words is very important

right. I have the same opinion as you. We are simply people who help them in promoting the project, we spend a lot of effort but we still need to do KYC to submit them.
It is really an unfair and unnecessary thing. I'm quite sensitive and insecure when I sell my information and I hate to do KYC.

When you join a bounty campaign and it forces participants to pass KYC. The first thing you should do is pass their identity verification program. If you fail, you should not join this campaign. You should ask them why your identity verification process was rejected.

You should accept their rules before joining any program.
But they didn't ask KYC right from the start, they asked us to KYC when the campaign was over and if we couldn't overcome it, we would become a free worker for them for a while long time

I think KYC is needed because as we know a lot of hunters are cheating by using a lot of accounts to follow the campaign, with Kyc they will never follow the campaign because they are scared.

I do not agree with this. What is the need to stop KYC? Bounty company is a good opportunity to make an advertising project and attract investors. And KYC will only confirm the identity

What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
Having this issue with you is really painful but you should've read their bounty campaign terms and conditions before joining it will be stated there by the campaign manager or will just announce on the telegram. Partially agree with this but for my view on it, they are just preventing account spamming to have more stakes on one person so KYC is just for fairness to all participants.
Partially Agree with this... This is somehow for the practice of fairness and honesty to everyone... Evry bounty hunters and airdroppers are doing their best to deliver what is needed to get stakes... Spending of time money effort and knowledge should be given the right stakes for it.. And having a lot of cheaters on the lists can give others less stakes which is unfair... Kyc will somehow help to identify the real ones to those so called DUMMY accounts...
