Maybe this is the first hat trick of Benzema this season. Since the decline in the performance of the game at the start of the season, Benzema has always had difficulty scoring goals. But, after Zidane came back to Real Madrid, Benzema seemed to regain his passion for scoring and proved in almost every game since Zidane returned to his goal.

That was the problem with Real Madrid this year many of the key players have underperformed the whole season, this has been seen in many of Real Madrid games , they weren't able to create good football with a lot of chances like they do always, they won't admit it but it looks like Real Madrid without Cristiano is not the same as it used to be.

The whole team definitely looked out of form this season, even though they are all very good individually. Many people said Real will not be the same team without Ronaldo and it seems like all of those rumors have come true. Hope Zidane will do something this summer since Real is still one of the most powerful teams in the world.

There is a lot of other "stars" that should shoulder more of the blame for bad Real season. The biggest disappointment was obviously Bale followed by two youngsters Asensio and Vasquez. Villarreal team is definitely worth more than they have shown this season and I think that's going to show up the next season. They don't deserve to relegate and most likely they are not going to do it considering how they have played recently.

Massive win for Getafe, I'm really glad that my favorite underdog in the league is doing so well, gives me hope that they can actually qualify to the next CL, although next week is going to be key: they're gonna face Real Madrid next thursday (it won't be an easy game) while Sevilla will play against Rayo Vallecano (a bottom of the league side).

Betis vs Valencia in a few minutes, should be a great match, I kinda want Valencia to win, just to make things more interesting in the top 4 race.

It doesn't matter will they finnish 2nd, 3rd or even 4th because all top 4 teams from La Liga qualify to UCL group stage without any qualification matches. But team who will finnish 2nd will get chance to fight for Spanish Super Cup (if Barca will win Copa del Rey).
Today Getafe reached very important win in fight for Champions league spot - they just trashed their direct competitors Sevilla 3:0. Now they have 54 points, Sevilla 52 and Valencia 49. Valencia have chance to reach Sevilla today if they will beat Betis. With just 5 rounds remaining, fight for Champions league spots should be hot.

They deserved win in Bilbao, I don't think Madrid aim was to finish as the third in the they'll still be trying to finish in the best top position, though the 1st position is out of sight, I think the 2nd could still be up for grabs with 5 matches to go, Real Madrid are 4 points behind the Madrid rivals and could still have their chance.

Yes, I know, but I'm talking about the worst possible thing about the CL next season there is no doubt that Madrid still qualify

That was tight, wasn't it? Atletico winning by one goal the only one of the match. And then it got pretty nervy for Barcelona after Juanmi scored, but then it was all taken care of in 2 minutes. No cards, and everyone was actually just happy to play normally, good to see no pressure (not for long), but this was a hard fought win in any case, and to have goals from defenders to bring us another win is great for me. Hopefully no more surprises and this is wrapped up quickly.

Atletico play before Barca today, and of course I don't think anybody thinks they have a chance, but as a Barca fan seeing PSG lose twice now to delay their celebrations, it will only take 2 losses for us to suddenly make it seem possible for Atletico, and we need to wrap up points before we meet Liverpool.

@Juggy777 Exactly. Zidane has already stopped the rot, but he needs to clean it out and he will be given that time. The money I don't know, but it is definitely exciting to see how next season shapes up for Real. Messi on my Barca has another season for sure but not many left.

Hey I don’t think anyone was really expecting Zidane to step in and arrest the slide, his role now is simple target a top 3 finish decide who needs to stay, and who needs to leave. I would not advise anyone to gamble on thier matches this season, as their players do not have the winning mentality they once had. Also I have heard they have 500 millions to spend in the summer transfer window, so I’m excited to see whom they spend it on.
