I actually think the same and the impact of the red car unfortunately will have a big impact on the pitch as next 3 games for Barcelona are not easy any longer. I can already see Real winning El Classico but also Las Palmas to score against them and with a bit of luck they can make a draw. This should also be a recovery chance for Atl.Madrid after they lost to Barcelona , they need to win next 3 games and hope Barcelona will stumble.

Xavi is a coach, so it doesn't look like the punishment is that long and as far as I know, when a coach gets a red card, it seems like the coach only misses one match so Xavi can't accompany the team in the match. Also, when a player gets a red card, at least the penalty is only missing one or two matches and not three matches. Thus, it will not be a problem if Xavi is not on the sidelines for Barcelona's next match in La Liga. I don't know how many matches Xavi had to miss after being sent off by the referee in the match against Atletico Madrid, but of course it was a loss for him and his team too. Xavi is a coach who talks a lot to the referee, he protests a lot and it harms him rather than benefits him. He quite often gets banned from accompanying his team on the sidelines, so it's a habit or maybe something unique to him.

I'm not sure what Xavi is trying to prove to the La Liga refereeing committee with his protests at many of the refereeing decisions. He definitely has a mission and he will not stop protesting it even if there are losses that will be incurred. Of course it would be very detrimental without him on the sidelines, but he can instruct from afar.

What happen to Barcelona this season? Really a surprise to see them not able to maintain the credible moves of last season when they lifted the La Liga title. The current form of Barcelona is in doubt, even the supporters doesn't have believe for the club, they can't meet up the firing performance of Real Madrid this season, underperfoming actions whenever they meet Los Blancos who are absolutely striving for great results.

Barcelona will continue to figure out solid path for winning because this season gave been a terrible one for them more specifically in La Liga matches. What are you pointing out? Xavi Hernandez will always climbed the edge of his team despite his absence towards upcoming matches. Xavi Hernandez issued a red card by the referee and this is bad news for the team, the players will guided by the assistant coaches, atleast they sits in position to provide aides for the progress of the club.

Barcelona by their ranks has no excuse in losing against Las Palmas not Cadiz by virtue of the absence of their coach in any of those games. It is not for team like this that such excuse should be made. So am confident that Barcelona will continue with the winning streaks maintained their position on the Laliga table. I am guessing that another loan to Barcelona could happen, considering their budget, I doubt a transfer could happen, but if they do get rid of some salary then maybe that could happen.

Atletico Madrid still has a chance to finish in the top four of La Liga, but with the caveat that ATM must sweep all its matches with a win. yeah, La Liga leaves 8 matches for Atletico for them to complete and finish in the top 4 of this competition. the point is, Diego Simeone's squad must win match after match. including against Girona, Bilbao and Real Sociedad. these 3 teams are the toughest in the remaining 8 matches. so, if Atletico is able to win game after game, at least they can finish in 4th place. or, it could be possible to finish in 3rd place if Girona experiences a slump. so, before this competition ends, like it or not, Diego Simeone has to get his team back on track.

As for Athletic Bilbao, last season they were only able to finish in 8th place. If we consider about the one point gap, at least it is still a close points gap and it is still possible for Atletico to overtake Bilbao. But, if we consider about their recent performance then yes, at least we will assume that eventhough they only have a onepoint gap, it will still be difficult for Atletico to overtake Bilbao. Becauseindeed, Bilbao is really capable of maintaining good results and performance at this moment. Therefore, even though the points gap between Atletico and Bilbao is still close but yes, it still doesn't seem easy at all for Atletico to return to the top four. Because yes, the teams currently in the top four seem to have good ability to maintain their position in the top four.
