Athletic Bilbao aren't joking at all. They have performed really impressively during the season and deserve the position they are at now too. There is still a game to be played between these teams next month so I'm curious.  Smiley  The gap is only one point and we can see a lovely competition between for a Champions League spot.
Yes, it's true that Bilbao can really take advantage of the momentum when Atletico Madrid and Girona haven't played well in their last few matches, this is an opportunity for Bilbao to be in the best position, even though there is still a one point difference with Atletico Madrid, they should be able to maintain that. difference in points to at least remain in the top four, if Girona continues to suffer defeats it will be in Bilbao's favor to overtake them if Girona does not recover from their downturn, so far Bilbao has appeared very impressive.

Every team that plays well at the start of the season will usually play badly at the end of the season and vice versa when a team plays badly at the start of the season they work hard at the end of the season to get the best position possible, Bilbao could maintain their position if Atletico Madrid suffers another defeat in The next few possible matches will be in Bilbao's favor in maintaining the point difference, a seven point gap with Girona may be difficult but for Bilbao maybe if Girona and Atletico Madrid continue to get bad results it will clearly lead them to finish in the top four and get a UCL ticket next season.

ATM fans will always hate Felix for his past problems and Felix return to ATM will definitely make the player depressed, but in fact ATM is also confused when they want to sell to another team, of course they will only offer a low price because Felix doesn't have any outstanding achievements.
TBH, I'm not saying he didn't have a good contribution with Barcelona, but at the start of last season, Felix made a pretty good contribution, but after that his performance dropped drastically, almost having difficulty giving the best score in every match.
Indeed, currently Barcelona has no intention of extending the loan period with ATM on the grounds that Barcelona will try to find another player to replace his position with a much better performance quality.
but we'll see after this season ends whether Barcelona is able to get a replacement player who has better talent or if not they will just keep Felix.
Felix has always been a good player, he's a loan player no doubt but he's performed more than he did with his original club. Barcelona has given him the type of tempo he needs to play with. They're a good and committed team and their players are coordinated. The coach himself is young and knows what he needs and builds his team to deliver rightly. It won't be bad to watch Felix stay to do more at Barcelona. Atletico didn't favor him as much as Barcelona has. He's now out of his shell and has built more confidence in himself as well.

I personally don't think that after being watched to grow by Barcelona, then they'd let him off their camp. And I'm convinced that he also would want an extension with the Spanish side. What kills a team is favoritism and it's one factor that should be worked on. Coaches should not involve favoritism as it may have an impact on the game outcomes and as well cause a whole lot of technical errors to occur and it may affect the player's conditions. They need to be encouraged and made to put in efforts to working in the team.

It'll build their ball playing abilities and causes positivity in every game outcomes. His return to the club by summer would really have its own effect though and seriously it'll be dangerous and uncertain to say anything about how his performance may turn out. He's trying his best as a player and so the fans should be able to see his efforts. Barcelona treated him better no doubt and I expect that Atletico wouldn't be different considering his strides shown with Barcelona already.

Atletico Madrid bought Joao Felix at a fairly high price from Benfica but instead he was unable to give a good performance when with Atletico Madrid and that's why he is currently on loan to Barcelona, in my opinion the failure of Joao Felix to develop at Atletico because none other than Atletico's style of play which does not match the character of the game he has been playing at Benfica,  Yes, Atletico Madrid should have been aware of Joao Felix's ability before loaning him to Barcelona, and I think if Atletico Madrid want to see their rivals weaken, of course they should not loan players to fellow Spanish teams.

I think the treatment of the fans and the management who probably continued to intimidate him made Joao Felix celebrate the goal, honestly somehow Simeone expression when Joao Felix managed to score when they were beaten by Barcelona and I think at the moment Simeone and Atletico Madrid certainly regret the actions of those who did not give a place in the first squad to Joao Felix and instead chose to throw him to another tea, I think for now Joao Felix will develop more at Barcelona and Joao Felizx now just needs to convince Barcelona to sign him permanently at the end of the season.
Joao Felix's performance did not improve because the Atletico Madrid team's style of play did not suit him and this was all the fault of Atletico management when they chose to recruit Joao Felix at a high price even though the team could see whether the player's characteristics suited the team or not.
Atletico fans' reaction was very excessive, they seemed to blame Joao Felix even though in fact the Atletico team didn't want him so Joao Felix was loaned to Barcelona.

I think there is no need for regret because even if Joao Felix returns to Atletico Madrid, it is not certain that he will be able to show the performance he is currently at.
Even though he thought about his quality, while at Barcelona I saw that there was a lot of progress in Joao Felix's career and that was very good for his future.

Did you think Lewandowski's performance was flawless even before he joined Barcelona? He changed his style of play without realising it was having an impact on him. Lewandowski used to be able to score with both his head and his legs, but these days he finds it very difficult to do so and much prefers to use his legs. In his prime, Lewandowski was a dangerous striker who every opponent Bayern Munich faced was terrified of. However, because he was having trouble winning a ballon Dior in the Bundesliga, he decided to join Barcelona in the hopes of winning one, but he hasn't had the opportunity to do so yet.

~Snip
Yes, currently Lewandowski is not as sharp as when he was at Bayern Munich. Maybe it's because Lewandowski is no longer young so his performance continues to decline. Or as you said because he changed his playing style so it's not as sharp as before. However, I read a news site that reported the reasons why Lewandowski experienced a decline in performance at Barcelona. And that reason is actually quite surprising to me. The reason is, in his report, Lewandowski said he was no longer enthusiastic about playing football.
I think every player who used to be productive is now starting to no longer be the same, because it makes sense, this also applies to Messi and Ronaldo, and Lewandowski could be said to be a contemporary of these two stars, now he doesn't have the same partners at Barcelona as when he was at Bayern Munich is able to fully support passing the ball. For this reason, Lewandowski can no longer be compared to the current young players who have taken over the competition. The era is over and whatever happens, Lewandowski just needs to play it safe and not be too ambitious in pursuing a star career that is already over.
They are getting older and this is the nature factor, there are many played chosen to retire from football after they are getting older enough to play professional football. This is a common thing in the football when a player getting even older and they were unable in continuing his carer.
That happens to the so many players. Modric is gonna be the next who is gonna retire from playing football and there will be so many legends who will retire from playing football due to the their ages. It's caused by this is a natural factor. You can't prevent something is getting older.

This point of yours is very true a d relatable aswell because most players are definitely not going to remain in their prime forever, just like others who are now retired, they were once in their prime and did showcased their star performance which at that time was very much appreciated but knowing when leave is very important so you don't have to be in the midst of an unnecessary competition amongst younger players.

Lewandoski has really been a good player for Barcelona and all through his stay in Barcelona he's been of very good help to the team in that he's helped them achieve as much as they could especially when he was in his prime and at this time it's now obvious he's gradually getting pass that point of his career and he's very much aware I hope so, considering the most recent injury he just recoverd from before been able to continue playing for Barcelona, I think he's to the point be may just have to think towards retirement so the younger generation can aswell play for the team.

Usually there's an era for every generation of footballers and it gets to times where it gradually whindes away and a new one sets in so the football generation continues and such will soon be in the case of lewandoski but it's obvious xavi still believes so much in him and so he's still got enough of play time in the team and the younger ones who were supposed to take over are still struggling to get adequate play time because he's still present.

I don't understand why Atletico Madrid is trying to portray Joao Felix as their opponent; he scored a goal against his team after joining Barcelona on loan, and he celebrated it. There is nothing wrong with that. Atletico Madrid didn't value Joao Felix, so he moved to Barcelona, where he will perform and be valued. Joao Felix is a star player that every team would want to have, so why is the coach at Atletico Madrid so opposed to him and doesn't rank him among his best players?

Joao Felix appears happy, and if Barcelona signs him, that will be the best thing because Atletico Madrid is not happy with him right now and views him as their biggest enemy because he scored goals in both of their matches this season. His loan contract expires in a few months, and if he returns to Atletico Madrid, I doubt they will even want to see him play a single game. Barcelona is the team that can set the player free by signing him permanently, but they have always struggled financially, so purchasing Joao Felix won't be cheap.

The point difference between Barcelona and Girona in the league table is just two points in favor of Barcelona. If Girona were in form, they could have put pressure on Barcelona for the second position in the league table. Before Girona becomes consistent in the league, it will be too late for them to rival Barcelona for the second position in the league table.
At least Girona can maintain their position for UCL tickets next season. that's a great achievement this season. Even though in the end Girona had to be replaced by Madrid and Barcelona, their performance this season must be appreciated.
If the Girona team and squad are maintained and perhaps add some players who support their performance, next season they will definitely make things difficult for Madrid and Barcelona in the hunt for the title.
Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow. Girona can become consistent, and even take back the second position back from Barcelona. But this is only if they improve their performance and become as strong as they were from the beginning of the season to the middle of the season.

If though, they cannot overtake Barcelona, that would not be a problem. What they should focus on, is to make sure that they don't go below this position that they are currently on the table. It will be a honor for them to finish third on the table this season.
Yes, this is football, and anything can happen. Some key Barcelona players can have injuries, and Barcelona will struggle to win matches in the league. It is not certain that Barcelona will finish in second place in the La Liga table; if Barcelona fails to win most of their remaining matches in the league, Girona might take their position back. After all, Barcelona is just leading by two points.

Atletico Madrid have been accepting the compliments in the Champions League so far. However they need help in the La Liga as soon as possible. Their recent form in the league is quite bad. They got two bad results against Cadiz and Barcelona. This was enough for them to be pushed out of top four by Athletic Bilbao. Things are getting more serious while getting close to the end.

Athletic Bilbao aren't joking at all. They have performed really impressively during the season and deserve the position they are at now too. I think the same, even though Girona cannot be in second place in the standings in the end of the season but can still get a place in the Champions League competition next season, that's enough for them because that's already an achievement for a team like Girona, and maybe it will be the club's first history of being able to play there. Champions League.
Girona can have a successful season if they can have a position that can help them to join either Conference League, Europa League or Champions League. Because of their current high position, they will aim at a position in top four and Champions League next season. It will be perfect ending for them in this season, in top four, but if they end this season beyond top four, it will still be their successful season if they can join either Europa League or Conference League next season, honestly I really think so.

Because Girona didn't start this season to win La Liga or to end in top four, what they have done so far is already very good.

Quote
Their next target is how to face next season, because I believe what they have shown this season is not the result of luck or coincidence but the result of hard work
When Girona ends this season, they will face with a very high changing summer transfer season. Many big clubs will knock Girona's doors and give them offers to bring Girona star players out. Losing star players, Girona will have a weaker squad and will face with 2024 - 2025 season with high uncertainty and it's hard for them to maintain good performances like this season.

Lewandowski is now 35 years old. So it could be said that his golden era was almost over. Because his era is not much different from the era of Messi and Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are now all no longer at big clubs in Europe. So it is only a matter of time until Lewandowski will also take the same steps. But currently Barcelona wants to let go of their flagship player. And it seems that Atletico Madrid really wants Lewandowski. And it seems that even though Lewandowski is no longer productive or his level of productivity is not what it used to be. But his performance is not much different from the young strikers in the current era. So it's natural that several clubs still really want him. And his contract at Barcelona is still long, it's just that the club seems to want to release this player immediately. And maybe the reason is financial or something like that. What is clear is that we can no longer expect Lewandowski to score as many goals as when he was young. Because he's not young anymore. But he is still one of the best strikers to date.

La Liga is easier for some elite team and challenging for most  average and elites sides. Real Madrid is entirely on another stage this season, they're above other oppositions this season, they're outstanding and aiming for greater heights this season. Madrid president, Florentino Pérez always desperate to enacts good leads for his team, not holding back but doing the ultimate moves that would enable his team remained in good shape.

The second position is determined by the consistent clubs, the ones that's capable of maintaining the lead this season. Consistency are among the players, Gironistes was determined in the first phase of the season but ended up in flopping form currently. Barcelona will always take the lead because they're elite team and returning to the best form this season. Xavi Hernandez is doing his best to ensure winnings runs smoothly for them though it's never going to be easy for them but they have huge tasks to strive for the new season. Girona messed up big time and this is certainly not the particular performance we all witnessed in the early starts, alot of changes were made.

It's true that that's the most important thing for Girona and even if they fail in the title race it won't be a problem. Because we very rarely see a mediocre team get a place in the Champions League and Girona, who has performed well this season, really deserves it. I think Girona won't just give up if they fail this season and they will try again next season.

Adding players to support their performance, I think Girona is capable of doing it, especially since they have a great scouting team and as we can see they have produced several good players such as Dovbyk, Savio and Yan Couto. It's just that after producing good players they won't be able to refuse the request of the club owner who is also in the same camp as Manchester City.

We certainly remember that the transfer was confirmed some time ago where Manchester City wanted Savio to be in Pep Guardiola's squad next season and immediately the transfer of this player went very smoothly. This is all because both teams have the same ownership under their control. So if Girona produces good players then soon the players will leave and could join Manchester City like what happened with Savio earlier.

It seems that Joao Felix's polemic with Fans does not end. A lot of terror happened to Felix before the Barcelona vs Athletico Madrid match. Athletico Madrid fans even damaged Felix's name in the Stadium area. But it didn't make Felix's mentality fall, in fact he made a goal when Bercelona won big. Felix said if he was okay with the Athletico players they still greeted each other, but it seems that the fans didn't know that so they were angry with Felix a lot. Felix's performances are also proof he's a good player with the right coach.
People, let me be honest. All this Joao Felix drama? Fan outrage from Atletico? A loser move. The kid's a star, and I recognize stars. I saw his on-field movements as brilliant. More power to him if Barcelona's style pulls that out! Finding the top team where your talent shines is key. Change is necessary sometimes. Winners think that way.

Felix is showing he's more than talented. His mind is strong. Former fans disliking him? A loser move. Real professional, he's scoring goals. I like a winner's focus. Perhaps supporters should support the finest athletes wherever they play. Support winners, not crybabies. You fuel sports excellence that way.

In my opinion, the decline in Lewandowski performance this season is not only due to age, friends, but the tactics that Xavi is using are a little different this season. If you compare Lewandowski performance when he was at Bayer Munich with Barcelona, it is clearly different because when he was at Bayer Munchen, Lewandowski received ball supply support from a capable midfielder, which is different from when he was at Barcelona, especially this season where many Barcelona midfielders were injured, which affected Lewandowski position on the front line.

For me, I think Barcelona will finish second in the La Liga table because Barcelona is consistent in all competitions now. Barcelona won against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League and also beat Athletico Madrid in the league. Barcelona's current form can guide them to win 80% of their remaining matches in La Liga, and they will not get a rival for the second position in the La Liga table.

Of course because the only club that was seriously competing with Barcelona has gone a bit weak in there performance which is Girona that is why if you check there points with Girona you will see the difference because if it was during the time Girona was still performing so good they would have been on the same points with Barcelona but right now with how improve Barcelona has been I don't think Girona can become a threat to them again unless they were unable to maintain there wining, so for now Barcelona has a very good chance of maintaining the second position till the end of the season.

The reason why Girona has looked weak of recent is what I don't really know. They were doing very well from the first half of this season, but they have dropped in their mentality and moral, that's why they are now losing games.
As for Barca's recent run in form, they are really waking up from their sleep and it is good for the team. But I'm surprised now because most of the senior players are still out injured, and Xavi is using the small boys to make things happen at the club, this is to show that their are more genius in their second team than in their first team.
Real Madrid have already claimed the tittle  already because no team  in the Lalliga can reach them again.
