Today I watched the highlights of the game and yes, Granada looked very good, but what kind of strength are you talking about? The team is in 19th place and has 13 points from 24 games. This is the obvious outsider. The problem is Barcelona - they have a terrible defense (Granada could have scored more) and against its background even teams like Granada look dangerous.
You can be 95% sure that Athletic will win against Almeria today (the team has 6 points and 17 defeats lol) and so it turns out that we will have an interesting fight for the top 4 where Barcelona will not be safe at all.

I was surprised to see the match of Barcelona vs Granada team of Spanish League. Barcelona team could not win this match. I was very sad because of such a good game. Granada team is in the 19th position of the points table. They played so well. It is really played very well by Granada team.  If the Granada team could have performed so well in the previous matches, then the Granada team could have been in a much better position. In this match, many people thought that the Barcelona team would win the match, but the match was drawn for the two teams to perform equally.

Barcelona still failed to stop the series of unsatisfactory results against Granada. Even though they are playing at home, Barcelona still has to be satisfied with sharing points with Granada with a score of 3-3. Granada, who played defensively, was very effective in taking advantage of every opportunity available, they managed to avoid defeat even though they were in the relegation zone. It's strange, but Barcelona actually has a lot of problems in defense that make the team unbalanced.

This draw meant that Barcelona failed to cut the points gap with Girona to 3 points. Barcelona has a 5 point gap with Girona after the draw against Granada, this is clearly not a favorable result for the Catalan team. Xavi is angry, but he has to be very realistic about the weak condition of his squad. Yamal scored 2 goals and 1 goal from Lewandowski, that prevented them from losing.

It seems like Barcelona panicked because they saw Granada's strength, which of course cannot be underestimated, the proof is that it is a shame because several Barcelona players were unable to take advantage of opportunities.
Lewandowski was great, he also scored a goal in this match and the hero in this match was of course Lamine Yamal, he who scored 2 goals in this match. and the appearance of Lamine yamal is very good. It seems like today we have a lot of topics of conversation ranging from Atletico's defeat to Barcelona's draw and perhaps quite a few bettors experienced losses in these two matches last night.

Let's start from Sevilla vs Atletico which maybe everyone already knows the result but it is the same as expected and here Sevilla as the host managed to beat Atletico who have had a better performance so far. Sevilla's only winning goal was scored by Isaac Romero in the 15th minute using an assist from Ocampos and this advantage did not change until the final minutes of the match. I have often said that this match is actually considered a big match if both teams still remember the prestige that exists, regardless of how far apart they are in the standings. The result was also not as expected and Sevilla still holds the tradition of prestige against Atletico and I think that is a good thing.

Then the result was the same 3-3 draw from Barcelona's match against Granada and who would have thought that Barcelona still couldn't beat Granada so far. If we look at the H2H of the two teams, we should already know that the results of all their meetings ended in a draw and it seems that the H2H record is still important for the matches between these two teams. Even since 2021, it has been observed that Barcelona has not been able to beat Granada and isn't this very bad for a team as big as Barcelona, which has no hope of winning the title but is still getting nightmares from Granada. Well, the result was that the two top teams had to swallow less than optimal results from the bottom teams and that was certainly quite painful.

Real Madrid is currently a team based on young players. Most of the players who perform regularly on the pitch for Real Madrid are very young. There are some experienced senior players in the team but all these players are not getting full time playing field now. Real Madrid now rely only on youth as youngsters shine for Real Madrid. Real Madrid lost the Champions League trophy and the La Liga trophy last season but this season they look confident enough to win the La Liga title as well as the Champions League title. The three young players you mentioned are all three young players doing great in the strike positions. Notably, Bellingham joined the team as a midfielder but currently plays the role of a striker for Real Madrid. In other words, this team is now a young team and this team is now a very strong team.

No need to blame any team, but as a matter of fact Girona didn't deliver and most fans around the world were hoping for Girona to show the football that they played for so many weeks and months.

I was hoping that they play this aggressive style, a counter pressure at least, such that Real Madrid knows even if they score, on the other side there is a team that can score as well. But this is not what Girona did and I think that was extremely disappointing.

It wasn't a game that showed two teams that are the best attackers in the league. It was a superpower against a little minion.

Vallecano still haven't won and their latest defeat came when they visited Mallorca headquarters. It was a win for the hosts with a score of 2-1 and I think Vallecano will be much more open to entering the relegation zone if they still lose like this. In the last 5 matches they experienced 4 defeats and 1 draw, their last victory was against Getafe at the beginning of January.

If we look at the bottom of the standings, Vallecano is vulnerable to being overtaken by teams below it, such as Sevilla, who just won against Atletico and also Mallorca, who just beat them. The difference is only one point from these teams and I think this week will still be a nightmare for Vallecano because they have to face the current leaders of the La Liga standings, namely Real Madrid. It won't be smooth sailing for Vallencano when facing a team that continues to hunt for full points to secure a greater chance of winning the title.

Girona were too bad against Real Madrid for a team competing for the league championship. But is this a big surprise? Not a big one to be honest.  

Because basically there is a huge quality gap between these teams. When Real Madrid are in their best shape there aren't many number of teams that can stand in their way in the La Liga. Girona turn into a weak team for them in this case for example. This was what we watched there, a simple destruction. But I don't think it is a big deal for Girona. Finishing as 2nd would still be a huge success. 

Barcelona failed to beat the penultimate team of La Liga. What's interesting is that Granada have only picked up twelve points all season, but in the match against Barça they picked up one and now they have thirteen points. Barcelona are now hopelessly behind Real Madrid. Now only Girona is fighting Real for the Spanish title. But I think Girona will not be able to stop Real Madrid from winning La Liga.

Sevilla know that if they try to keep up with Atletico with open play then they will be troubled and could end up losing the match.

The advantage Sevilla had in this match was a quick lead because with that they actually managed to hold 1 quick goal they had with a fairly tight defense and I think that was a good thing for them to do yesterday.

With this victory against Atletico it certainly give more confidence to be able to focus more on La LIga and save Sevilla from the relegation zone. Right now there is nothing Sevilla  can do other than just focus on La Liga alone so with that it would be great if the momentum they currently  have is maintained because thats how Sevilla can continue to be in the main competition in La Liga and start improving next season.

Sevilla's defense is responsible for such a bad situation this season. Due to the poor performance of the defenders, the Sevilla team is now in the 15th position in the points table. Sevilla conceded 37 goals in 24 matches.

However, Sevilla's defense was solid against Atletico Madrid. They did not make any mistakes in this match. Although Atletico Madrid's players managed several good attacks, they could not break down Sevilla's defense. Even in this match, if Sevilla's defense could not perform well, then they would never have achieved 3 points. While Atletico Madrid's attack was strong, Sevilla's defenders were able to hold them back successfully. If Sevilla's defense is as strong in the coming matches, we may soon see the team in the top 10 of the table.

Girona is a growing team. They cannot be on the same level as Real Madrid. There are only 4 or 5 teams in the world that can compare with Real Madrid. Girona spends the seventh least in La Liga. Their record contract is striker Artem Dovbyk for 7.5 million euros, only nearly 1/10 of the 100 million euros that Real Madrid spent on Jude Bellingham. How can they compare with Real Madrid. This has been a successful season for them, it will be great when next season they improve the squad with a few more quality stars. I still hope that will happen.

Maybe Girona will return to the truck in the upcoming matches. But the chances of seeing a Girona team at the top of the table are now slim. Girona is 5 points behind Madrid.

Too many emotions appeared during the Sevilla and Atletico match. Facing the team struggling to stay in the relegation race, Sevilla.  Atletico is very confident in its ability to win all 3 points. However, coach Diego Simeone and his team suddenly received a painful defeat. They are only 3 points ahead of the team behind Bilbao. The Sevilla defense, led by Sergio Ramos, fought tenaciously to block all pressure attacks from Atletico. Is this a lucky win for Sevilla or a lousy match for Atletico?

Girona's defeat with a big score by Real Madrid was quite surprising for me. Although I was not surprised by Real Madrid's victory, I was surprised by the score produced in that match. Because 4 goals without reply really shows that Real Madrid has a performance far above Girona. Even though everyone is starting to have high hopes for Girona this season. But Real Madrid proved that we shouldn't expect too much from Girona this season. But Girona's achievements this season are still amazing. Last season they ended the season in 10th place and it would be extraordinary if this season Girona ended the season while getting a ticket to the Champions League.

And what is even more surprising is that Girona this season has only lost 2 times from the start of the season until now and what is interesting is that these 2 defeats were both defeats by Real Madrid.
