What do you expect of Bilbao , Athletics Madrid and …, the  downfall of Barcelona will definitely give them spots at the top or near the top of the leagues and even if it was Barcelona they will do  the same to them , so I’m not really surprised. Realmadrid  on the other hand stands as their biggest rivals Cheesy , they are just doing it to stay neutral, at least they need someone to compete with once again Grin and they need some pity especially in their current financial status. Hence, I thought they registered Them already on a news I saw online or it’s another fake news  Tongue
The La Liga season has reached its midpoint and Real Madrid has topped the table by now, while Barcelona, which was in their place until recently, is already 5 points behind Real Madrid. Their more realistic competitor now will be Atletico, because Barcelona has many problems in the new season, which are the result of financial problems, while Atletico is doing well, they have a good defense and an excellent attack, especially since they can potentially overtake Real Madrid.

At this time Real Madrid is indeed at the top of the standings, but their position is not really safe, where Atletico Madrid will continue to shadow their position, especially Atletico has one more match compared to Real Madrid. Where Real Madrid has completed 19 matches, while Atletico has only completed 18 matches. And with this difference, Atletico Madrid might be able to take over the top of the standings at any time.

On the other hand, regarding Barcelona whose consistency is currently shaky, they are quite difficult to return to the top of the standings, and win every match. even their position could be shifted in the near future by Atletico Billbao, considering the difference in points between the two teams is very thin, which is only 2 points.

La Liga: Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior Faces Possible Suspension For 12 Matches For MisconductReal Madrid striker Vinicius Junior risks a suspension of four to 12 matches for pushing the opposing team's goalkeeper stole dimitrievski
Undecided it's too much Embarrassed
Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior risks a suspension of four to 12 matches for pushing the opposing team's goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski during the 79th minute of the La Liga match against Valencia, which ended 2-1 at the Mestella. after the incident, the Brazilian player was sent off. According to Spanish La Liga regulations, such aggressive behaviour without an attempt to play the ball is punishable by suspension.
according to spanish language media outlet Mundo deportivo, Vinicius will likely receive the minimum penalty of four matches.
this could exclude him from participating in the supercopa de Espana semifinal against Mallorca, and if they advance to the final, he may miss the match against Barcelona or athletic Bbilbao.
What Vinicius Junior did really reflected excessive bad emotions to his own detriment, not only that, the club was affected by what Vinicius Junior did. Of course this cannot be ignored, he must change immediately, controlling emotions is important so as not to be easily provoked by the opposing team.

To be honest Vinicius Junior is one of the talented players, his skills and abilities on the pitch are unquestionable, if only he could control his emotions, it would be better for him as well as for the club.

Yes, it's true, he still can't control his emotions and this is actually not the first case for him because he has done the same thing before. If it is said that he is still very young, I don't think so because he is already 24 years old and also has a lot of valuable experience while wearing the Real Madrid uniform and also from the seniors who have played with him. Maybe he will say a reason why he acted like that, but I hope whatever the reason he can be more mature in responding. He also has to think about his team, because the one who suffers from something like this is not only him, but his club will also definitely be harmed.
If the reason he acted like that was just to bring down the opposing players' mentality, it really doesn't make sense because his emotions always spike when his team has difficulty winning. In the previous match, when facing Atletico, he also had a tense encounter with Koke and the incident caused a stir some time ago. Vinicius temperament is very high, his attitude will be very detrimental to Real Madrid because when the team needs his energy he cannot be played due to a red card.
I think Real Madrid will start to take this seriously and maybe they will give a warning, because after all Real Madrid is also very disadvantaged in this matter. And I think that Real Madrid must do, this is to protect their players and also to maintain the team's performance. They are in a situation that still really needs reliable players, one of which is Vini. Once again Vini must be able to position himself as a professional player, emotions are a very natural thing but it can be controlled as long as he wants to do it. I hope this is the last time he does something like that.,

I agree. Since Hans flick appointment as the head coach of Barcelona he has transformed the team. We have seen Lewandowski and Raphinha flourish under his management. While their Real Madrid counterpart Vinicus junior goal contribution to the club has been poor because of injury problems. Kylian Mbappe is finding it difficult to adapt to a more demanding team. It may be taking long but when it finally clicks you can expect Mbappe to win a Golden boot in Spain.
I used to doubt Hansi Flick when it was reported that he wanted to change Barcelona's style of play. But during pre-season we saw that Barcelona was mediocre but had good improvements. And when the season started, I was really surprised by Barcelona's performance which had improved drastically and the goal productivity record they set at the start of the season was also extraordinary. And no one would have thought that they would see Lewandowski become the top scorer this season in Laliga at his age, which is no longer young. But his sharpness has actually increased rapidly this season. And all of that is thanks to Hansi Flick's skill in combining Yamal with Lewandowski in the attack line. This young player really deserves the award. And I think many will agree with my opinion.

Meanwhile about Real Madrid I think you have said it all. But one thing I have to admit is that Vini Jr could actually remain the brightest football star at Real Madrid if he didn't get too many injuries this season. Meanwhile, I think that if he is still not used to being here by the end of the season, criticism will start to emerge for him.

Indeed, Flick brought something new to Barcelona, he was able to improve the overall performance of the team and several players performed much better under his guidance. However, there is still a lot of work that Hansi Flick needs to improve, especially the problems that Barcelona often experiences when having difficulty creating every opportunity to be converted into goals. Currently, Barcelona has dropped in ranking, fortunately La Liga still presents many matches for Barcelona to overtake the team above their ranking. Unfortunately, it is not easy, what is certain is that Flick has a difficult job to bring Barcelona back to the top of the standings. As for Kylian Mbappe, it seems that his presence in his first season in La Liga has obstacles that have an impact on his performance. Yes, it is not easy, especially since Mbappe tends to be a center forward. He still needs something to reawaken his instincts, maybe it will take a little time to reach his best level of play. However, as we know, Madrid is not only Mbappe, there are many star players in this team and it is only a matter of time for them to reach their best level of play.

I will not overreact to this because I think what happened to Vinicius in the match against Valencia was a normal outburst for a young player when he is frustrated because his team is losing, overall Vinicius could not control his emotions but I think for a young player it is a little normal.

You are right. This is not an unusual incident. It is difficult to accept that Real Madrid will lose against a small team like Valencia. This is why Vinicius Junior could not control his emotions. But Vini is a star player. He should definitely control himself. We have seen Vinicius's fierce nature in many matches. This fierce nature of Vinicius must be avoided.

Quote
Tonight Real Madrid will face Minera followed by the Copa Del Rey match, this should not be a difficult match for Real Madrid and I am also sure Ancelotti will make a lot of rotations in the match later to maintain the fitness of his players and also give playing time to his young players.

I do not see any reason for Real Madrid's defeat against Deportiva Minera. There is no doubt that Deportiva Minera is a very weak team. Even in the past matches, Deportiva Minera has not played well. This team's performance is very irregular. Real Madrid will undoubtedly win this match. And I would say that if Real Madrid gives its full effort, Madrid will win by a large margin. However, I think Ancelotti will rest important players in his squad in this match.

Hmmm... Don't you think the odds for the title are strange? Here they are:

Real Madrid - 1.83

Barcelona Fc - 3.10

Atlético Madrid - 4.75

Barcelona above Atletico? After they fell apart both in terms of play and organisation? As a Real Madrid fan, I am much more afraid of Atletico, I would like these figures to reflect reality, but in my opinion, at the moment, Real and Atletico have roughly equal chances of winning the title.
If you look at the current situation, it is true that Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have a greater chance of becoming champions than Barcelona. Because as we know, Barcelona's current performance is not very good, the proof is that Atletico Madrid was able to beat Hansi Flick's team. But in my personal opinion, Barcelona still has quite big hopes of becoming champions in Laliga. Because even though Barcelona's current performance is really not good, we need to remember that Barcelona at the start of the season had a very extraordinary performance. The proof is that Real Madrid was even defeated by Barcelona. Therefore, for now I don't think we can just ignore Barcelona. Because Barcelona could rise again from its downturn. Because in my personal opinion, Barcelona is currently having a small problem. If, for example, this problem is resolved, you can be sure that Barcelona will put on an epic performance again. So for now I think it's better we just see what will happen after the season starts again. And besides that, the matches in Laliga will start again next week, I hope that there will be excitement.

Yes but these odds should reasonably reflect trends, too. There is potential in the Barcelona team, but they couldn't make use of it recently while Atletico Madrid has outperformed everyone else. Atletico Madrid is getting back to their strength in defense as they have by far the best defense in La Liga and this can win titles as they saying goes.

Across all competitions Atletico has now won the last 13 games and had goal statistics of 34-8. I don't there is a good reason to believe that Atletico is so much weaker than Barcelona. This is going to be a fight between the top three teams and I think Barcelona has the most trouble of all of them as they are facing problems and can't sort them out. Is it just a question of time or are the problems more fundamental than the early season suggested. They had such a great beginning and everyone got praised, but now what? It should never happen that one injury destroys the whole game plan because I remember that many here said Lamine Yamal would be missing. Yes he is missing, but Barcelona should never have a drop in their performance like that.

Every player must have felt like that but it depends on themselves whether they are able to control their emotions well or not and if they cannot control it, it will eventually harm themselves and the club, Vinicius must bear the consequences of getting a red card and this is very detrimental to the club that always relies on him in every match, especially since Madrid will soon face the UCL match on January 23, if he is still absent, of course Carlo Ancelotti must change his strategy.
Players emotional management should be another thing teams should begin to put into consideration as I have seen that this is actually common amongst top players there was a time when some top players had have to struggle with their emotions to be able to handle situations when it arises but with time they got over it and so younger players like this should also try to learn to get that fixed before it affects their career and the team generally.  Most like hais going to be absent for the 23rd fixture and for them that will actually mean a whole lot of adjustments and restrategising for Ancelotti.

Unexpected: Real Madrid ally with BarcelonaAt the behest of Florentino Perez, Real Madrid has remained silent on the Olmo case and has not taken a stand against Barcelona for various reasons.
Despite pressure from a large section of fans and public opinion, Real Madrid has adopted a neutral stance regarding the "Olmo case", without any hostility and even more as an ally than an enemy for Barça. this is a direct order from Florentino Perez himself.
Relevé reports that at a party and in the presence of many witnesses, Perez firmly said: "We must leave Barcelona alone, they are our partners, not rivals." These statements are consistent with the Madrid club's actions in the matter of signing Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.
Barça is fully aware and Sport has also confirmed that Barcelona knows very well its enemies in the Olmo case and Real Madrid are not among them. Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Bilbao are Barça's biggest opponents and have united against the club in the Olmo case.
Florentino Perez knows very well that FC Barcelona is a great rival on the field, but at the same time, a strategic partner that must be accompanied in economic negotiations and in the Super League. Perez is under daily pressure to intensify the hostility towards Barça and to take a stand against the signing of Olmo, but he remains calm and does not give in. He is aware that he needs Barça to fight for the common good. On Perez's orders, none of the club members, players or technical staff have taken a stand against the olmo case in the media, and even Carlo Ancelotti's response in a recent press conference was not decisive.

Lewandowski has indeed performed well this season, scoring goals in almost every match he has played so far and now he has collected the most goals among other goal scorers and the gap is also quite far, while Mbappe and Vinicius Jr are already quite far behind, I am not sure they are able to catch up with the number of goals achieved by Lewandowski, if there is no injury or decline in Lewandowski's performance, I am sure he will be the top scorer this season.
Hansi Flick has brought a lot of improvement to Barcelona, their goal productivity so far has reached 51 goals, Lewandowski and Raphina contributed half of it. Vinicius was disturbed by injury, so it is natural that his current goal tally is still half of Lewandowski. Meanwhile, Mbappe, many still assume that the former PSG striker needs more time to appear fertile in Real Madrid front line. However, the 10 goals that have been frozen, indicate that he has improved since joining Real Madrid. Lewandowski chances of becoming La Liga top scorer this season are wide open, but what is more important than individual awards is helping his team return to the top of the standings.

Most football superstars who's graced the beautiful round leather game do have one problem that they struggled to overcome durin their prime and for Vinicius Jr of Real Madrid, I think his major problem is poor management of emotions. The Brazilian have in many occasions involved in on and off the pitch issues that are absolutely avoidable if he knew how to manage his emotions. The retaliation that saw him receive a red card in Real Madrid's last game was absolutely unnecessary and shouldn't have happened of he had managed the situation well. I hope he works on himself and finds a lasting solution to predicament before it gets too late to work on
What you said makes perfect sense because poor emotional management can lead to worse things for the team and also for Vinicius’ career itself so he should have been able to find that solution after he received the red card so that in other games he would not behave like that towards any opponent. Because after all, Real Madrid still really need a player like Vinicius and he and his team should be able to provide him with a wiser solution when he is on the pitch. Currently, Real Madrid is in a fairly sacred condition so that each of their players must be able to act wisely when playing a match anywhere.

Most footballers have a little difficulty in dealing with emotional issues and Vinicius should not have had to do that so he could have avoided a red card if he had not pushed the Valencia goalkeeper.
We understand what happened to him was much more difficult especially since he had received racist treatment from Valencia fans before.
But in any case, emotions should have been handled well so that they did not affect the outcome of the match and fortunately the red card he received did not make Real Madrid lose three points in the match.

He has apologized for the incident and hopefully the fans in the Spanish League will not treat him like that, especially for Valencia fans who may have hurt his feelings a little because of the actions taken against insults.

I see nothing surprise in the Barcelona's outright odds. I believe bookies believe Barcelona has ability to comeback, though they're below Atletico Madrid. I also assume bookies are considering the history of winner.  Barcelona often competed with Real Madrid at the late season for the title. Meanwhile, Atletico often finished at the top 4, but rarely participated in the title race.

That's a sense reason seeing how big Atletico's odds, though they're at the 2nd place. I'm wondering if there is someone who betting on Atletico Madrid win the title.  Grin

I can really understand what Vini did, but on the other hand I also think he shouldn't have done something like that, I even wonder why he didn't take advantage of the momentum so that Valencia would suffer a loss from the actions of their goalkeeper. In football, players must be smart, and I think Valencia's goalkeeper was the one who took advantage of the momentum and caused this to happen. I hope that in the future Vini can control his emotions better, he is a very talented player, so it is a shame if his career is tarnished because of things like this, especially since Real Madrid is also a team that doesn't discriminate, they can do something that can make Vini no longer be at Real Madrid.

I didn't believe that Vini would allow his temper get the better part of him as he almost allowed a moment of madness cost Real Madrid all three points against Valencia. A player of his caliber should have mastered how to control his temper in frustrating matches. And if it is true that he will be punished by serving a four match ban, it will serve as a warning to other players to never allow their temper to get a better part of them when they are on the field of play.
I think Vini is a normal human who will get emotional when received provocation from goal keeper. He have chance to create a score, but can't finish it smoothly. a normal human should be regret, and and will certainly be more temper when got provocation to quickly stand up by goal keeper. He not only received that provocation, but the valencia supporter also mocking him during the match. I don't why Vini got that situation. Maybe because he was taunting celebration when create a goal before, and pointing a finger at the plague which implies that Valencia will be relegated.

Most likely he's going to be having a challenging Career path if he do not get to work on his temperament,  a typical example is with this case now, if he eventually bags the 12 match ban, that's a hug one in his career this session as it's an automatic draw down on his playing time this season,  one that comes without an option and if it repeat  it self it's going to feel like almost a season long ban of which if you don't  get to have good play time a season,  how then do you get to showcase your talent enough for further exposure to other potential interest beyond Madrid to help grow your career to the peak.
A 12 match ban is the maximum punishment he could receive for his actions, but the minimum punishment is a 4 match ban. Obviously this is very detrimental to him and also the club, most of the time will be wasted throughout this season if he gets the maximum punishment and clearly that is very detrimental to Real Madrid. He has to learn more to control his emotions, Ronaldinho can be his mentor because his senior in the Brazilian national team is rarely provoked by emotions even when receiving hard tackles from opponents.
