La Liga: Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior Faces Possible Suspension For 12 Matches For MisconductReal Madrid striker Vinicius Junior risks a suspension of four to 12 matches for pushing the opposing team's goalkeeper stole dimitrievski
Undecided it's too much Embarrassed
Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior risks a suspension of four to 12 matches for pushing the opposing team's goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski during the 79th minute of the La Liga match against Valencia, which ended 2-1 at the Mestella. after the incident, the Brazilian player was sent off. According to Spanish La Liga regulations, such aggressive behaviour without an attempt to play the ball is punishable by suspension.
according to spanish language media outlet Mundo deportivo, Vinicius will likely receive the minimum penalty of four matches.
this could exclude him from participating in the supercopa de Espana semifinal against Mallorca, and if they advance to the final, he may miss the match against Barcelona or athletic Bbilbao.
I didn't believe that Vini would allow his temper get the better part of him as he almost allowed a moment of madness cost Real Madrid all three points against Valencia. A player of his caliber should have mastered how to control his temper in frustrating matches. And if it is true that he will be punished by serving a four match ban, it will serve as a warning to other players to never allow their temper to get a better part of them when they are on the field of play.

It is truly unbelievable that Vinicius was unable to control his temper, he was a young player and he had a responsibility and should have kept his temper under control. He should not have done that in this tense match against Valencia, but this young player made a big mistake. He was punished for his mistake and he got banned for four matches, it is a big punishment for him, he could not have done that to the goalkeeper of the opposing team. If Vinicius could have controlled his temper then he would not have had to face such a punishment, however, it is because he made a mistake and he was punished for his mistake. So in the next match, all the other players must be careful not to make such a mistake in any match.

If a very friendly player like Zidane could make a headbutt in a very important or most important match, World Cup final match, I can understand reaction from Vinicius in a less important match. It is not my explanation or sympathy for Vinicius, but to say that a player can lose his control anytime. We have another example, Luis Suárez who lost his control in Ajax Amsterdam, Liverpool and Uruguay national teams with his three bites on his opponent players. Eventually he changed and we no longer saw similar uncontrolled actions after he joined Barcelona.

I think Vini is a normal human who will get emotional when received provocation from goal keeper. He have chance to create a score, but can't finish it smoothly. a normal human should be regret, and and will certainly be more temper when got provocation to quickly stand up by goal keeper. He not only received that provocation, but the valencia supporter also mocking him during the match.
Any player with bad reaction like this will receive a lot of critics but people forget that there usually was little protection for these players when they were attacked by opponents and fans repeatedly.

Vinicius needs to change himself, to avoid over and uncontrolled reaction like this, as his absence through suspension will be only harmful for his club. If he want to be a more useful player for his club, win more titles with them, he must avoid unnecessary cards and suspension.

yes, the total number of goals scored by Lewandowsky this season is truly extraordinary and of course the 16 goals scored by Lewandowski are truly extraordinary because of course this will definitely make it difficult for other teams to be able to shift the goals scored by Lewandowski and of course this certainly depends on Team performance also greatly influences the goals scored by the players. but I personally also predict that if for example Barcelona always plays well then it will definitely allow Lewandowski to be able to add more goals that he can score.
Lewandowski has 6 goal difference against Mbappe but Mbappe is younger and can score 2 or 3 goals in a match easily when he is in his best form. Lewandowski as an old player has more risk to lose his best form in later of season including risk of injury and match absence. Latest decreasing performances of Barcelona in general can affect Lewandowski performances in future too.

I believe that with an experienced striker like Lewandowski, he will value titles with his club more important than personal awards like best scorer of La Liga for example.

keeping up with Robert Lewandowsky is really difficult
Lewandowski has indeed performed well this season, scoring goals in almost every match he has played so far and now he has collected the most goals among other goal scorers and the gap is also quite far, while Mbappe and Vinicius Jr are already quite far behind, I am not sure they are able to catch up with the number of goals achieved by Lewandowski, if there is no injury or decline in Lewandowski's performance, I am sure he will be the top scorer this season.

Yes, I also seem to predict the same as you that Lewandowski will definitely have great potential to achieve top score this season. But yes, of course, considering that there are still a lot of matches at the moment, we definitely won't know for sure because Mbappe and Raphinha and the others definitely still have a lot of time to score goals. Of course, we'll see what happens later. Yes, of course I hope that the competition in top scores will become fiercer and tighter so that it becomes more exciting.

I don't agree if this victory is full of luck. Maybe there are some factors. But the main thing is the players' efforts.
Yes, this is not just of luck, but the players' efforts. But still In terms of players, there are some players who got bad rates, only Bellingham (8/10) and Luca Modric (7/10) got good rating grades on this match, maybe because both scored the goal and consistently played then gave movement to another player.
Certainly, this dna will be an important note for Ancelotti for the next matches. and even some players on certain sites only get a value of 4 or 5. indeed there are some who play badly and are not optimal here. especially related to the Vini JR case.

There is also needs to sent off the Goalkeeper too. He also deserves to get the red card Because he has also adopted a non confrontational attitude. Vinicius Junior made a slight touch and in return the referee showed him a red card and ejected him from the match. This is totally unfair. Vinicius junior committed a foul but it was a minor foul and does not deserve a red card. The referee wanted to show the yellow card to both players, but instead of the goalkeeper, he  gave a red card to Vinicus. The ref has done injustice La Liga should take action against him it was an unethical decision by the refs. Every time Valencia fans abuse Vinicus Junior with unethical behavior. Disrespect the players every time. La Liga should take all this into notice. Vinicus Junior must first be declared innocent. He was not entitled to a red card despite the referee gaved a red card instead of a yellow card.

The red card was the right decision as it was the result of cumulative misbehavior on Vinicius Jr.'s part. The guy needs to grow up as it is getting on everyone's nerves that this cry baby hasn't been sent off a couple of times already. Why doesn't he just leave his hand where it belongs and instead decides to touch other players? What's wrong with that dude? I hope he will get suspended for a bunch of games, dude needs a break and cry a bit more before he plays again. What an idiot...

What Vini did by overreacting to what the Valencia goalkeeper did was unacceptable, and I agree that he should receive a suspension. But we also have to look at this in a broader sense, because he also acted like that because he was provoked by his opponent, and it is also very unfortunate when football is still colored by racism like what the Valencia supporters did. In my opinion, to be fairer, everyone should receive sanctions, Vini for sure, the Valencia goalkeeper and also the supporters. I think that could be a strong warning, although it might not be completely effective, but I hope La Liga can consider it.
One of Vinicius weaknesses due to his inability to control his emotions was again seen in the match against Valencia. Overall he has received eight yellow cards in 20 games this season, mostly for excessive protesting and was the third red card of his career. Vinicius actions have violated Article 104 of the RFEF Disciplinary Code which could result in a potential absence of at least 4 matches. Perhaps the reason he failed to win the Ballon d'Or was because his emotions were still unstable and he often provoked opposing players.

Yes, it's true, he still can't control his emotions and this is actually not the first case for him because he has done the same thing before. If it is said that he is still very young, I don't think so because he is already 24 years old and also has a lot of valuable experience while wearing the Real Madrid uniform and also from the seniors who have played with him. Maybe he will say a reason why he acted like that, but I hope whatever the reason he can be more mature in responding. He also has to think about his team, because the one who suffers from something like this is not only him, but his club will also definitely be harmed.

If Vinicius really can't control his emotions in every match, then I'm afraid his career will also decline. Because after all, it seems like no matter how great Vinicius' skills are, because if Vinicius always has a bad impact on the team, then the team will not just stay silent and of course will act accordingly. I'm afraid, that temperamental attitude is because Vinicius may be too racist and that also happened to Balotelli in the past until his career was ruined just because he was very temperamental and detrimental to the team. So, it doesn't matter whether Vinicius has good potential with his young age, because the team will still be able to find a replacement.
Most football superstars who's graced the beautiful round leather game do have one problem that they struggled to overcome durin their prime and for Vinicius Jr of Real Madrid, I think his major problem is poor management of emotions. The Brazilian have in many occasions involved in on and off the pitch issues that are absolutely avoidable if he knew how to manage his emotions. The retaliation that saw him receive a red card in Real Madrid's last game was absolutely unnecessary and shouldn't have happened of he had managed the situation well. I hope he works on himself and finds a lasting solution to predicament before it gets too late to work on

Most likely he's going to be having a challenging Career path if he do not get to work on his temperament,  a typical example is with this case now, if he eventually bags the 12 match ban, that's a hug one in his career this session as it's an automatic draw down on his playing time this season,  one that comes without an option and if it repeat  it self it's going to feel like almost a season long ban of which if you don't  get to have good play time a season,  how then do you get to showcase your talent enough for further exposure to other potential interest beyond Madrid to help grow your career to the peak.

He is an arrogant idiot and I remember how he complained about racism all the time, which is of course a shitty thing to be dealing with, but behavior doesn't only consist of racism yes or racism no. He should learn how to behave himself as he is a role model in the football world since he won the best player award. How bad is it to behave like that when so many children around the world look up to him? Again, he has been arrogant life fuck forever and in my opinion never deserved the award exactly because he behaves like a stupid child. There is more to a great player than just the pure skill.

Hmmm... Don't you think the odds for the title are strange? Here they are:

Real Madrid - 1.83

Barcelona Fc - 3.10

Atlético Madrid - 4.75

Barcelona above Atletico? After they fell apart both in terms of play and organisation? As a Real Madrid fan, I am much more afraid of Atletico, I would like these figures to reflect reality, but in my opinion, at the moment, Real and Atletico have roughly equal chances of winning the title.

I agree. The La Liga is starting really late. Next week there are even missing games to be played. Next round games are decided to be played on January 17th normally.

I also think there is no need for such a big break. Barcelona and Real Madrid are going to continue from where they left really late while Atletico Madrid start the league games earlier.

It would be really epic if Atletico Madrid win the La Liga title this season.  Roll Eyes  It is a really difficult work to do for Simeone's students but not impossible. It would be his 3rd La Liga title with Atletico Madrid as well.
La Liga matches will continue from January 10 to January 13 for week 19. It's a bit late, but several teams including Real Madrid and Barcelona have other matches scheduled for the Copa Del Rey and Super Copa Spain. This busy schedule is also the reason why La Liga is played a bit slower than other leagues, but for me it's not a problem.

Real Madrid have 2 matches in two different competitions before they play Las Palmas in La Liga for week 20. They will face Deportiva Minera for the Copa Del Rey and Mallorca in the semifinals of the Spanish Super Cup. Real Madrid and Barcelona have both finished match week 19, so there is no schedule for them this week except for the Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.

Hansi Flick has brought a lot of improvement to Barcelona, their goal productivity so far has reached 51 goals, Lewandowski and Raphina contributed half of it. Vinicius was disturbed by injury, so it is natural that his current goal tally is still half of Lewandowski. Meanwhile, Mbappe, many still assume that the former PSG striker needs more time to appear fertile in Real Madrid front line. However, the 10 goals that have been frozen, indicate that he has improved since joining Real Madrid. Lewandowski chances of becoming La Liga top scorer this season are wide open, but what is more important than individual awards is helping his team return to the top of the standings.
Hansi Flick deserves to a lot of applause from all things he has done and improved in Barcelona. Without him, Barcelona maybe would have not participated in the La Liga trophy race with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. They must be realistic with player quality they have and move on with more realistic targets of their club development in this season and near future.

Lewandowski is play like his very last seasons at world class level and Barcelona are enjoying his great contributions, but in next 1, 2 or 3 seasons, they will have less quality contributions from him. This season can help Barcelona to win La Liga title or not, but they must look into future without Lewandowski.

If Vinicius really can't control his emotions in every match, then I'm afraid his career will also decline. I really agree with you that Vinicius must change his emotional reaction on pitches. It's bad for his career and he will turn to be another version of Balotelli or Pogba if he continues it. I value him more than Balotelli, Pogba, Mbappe because of his readiness for contributions to his teammates and a whole team. However, about his reaction personally he must change for better of himself first, then his team in general too.

It's sad that most other leagues already started their games, and the only game we got was Real Madrid vs Valencia. We could have other teams playing too, the extra week gap makes no sense, we could have seen the league start back up this weekend and it would have been fun.

It's also getting a bit complicated and quite shocking too, and I believe that we are going to end up with a much better result if we end up with something else, so it is not really that weird, we should feel like the best case would be just waiting. Barcelona and ATM and Real are all pretty close to each other, Barcelona on a bad momentum I know, but they are still not that far away, and with Olmo stuff, they must be feeling like they need a win to help fans forget about how they sucked on that move.

I think we started noticing the temperamental side of Vini jnr when Madrid had a game against this same Valencia some seasons back when the fans were making racist chants on him and just like you said, this attitude of his could cost him greatly if it's not worked on.
Vinicius wasn't this ferocious when benzema was around but now it's as if the fact that he's amongst the oldest player to have stayed at the club is what is giving him that flex, I just don't know.

If the reason he acted like that was just to bring down the opposing players' mentality, it really doesn't make sense because his emotions always spike when his team has difficulty winning. In the previous match, when facing Atletico, he also had a tense encounter with Koke and the incident caused a stir some time ago. Vinicius temperament is very high, his attitude will be very detrimental to Real Madrid because when the team needs his energy he cannot be played due to a red card.
A player who has certain skills like Vinicius should not have emotions that always soar when he is in a match, because it is very clear that this will be very detrimental to the team and also himself. I even think something like that is very ridiculous for a player because he has to accept a ban from playing just because he likes to get angry and cannot control his emotions well.

If Vinicius really can't control his emotions in every match, then I'm afraid his career will also decline. Patience and hard work are the keys to success.
On the other hand, Real Madrid is increasingly threatened with losing its top position because Atletico Madrid has one postponed match that has not yet been played. The points gap between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is currently only 2 points, meaning Atletico Madrid will take over the top of the standings if they win. But what is clear is that La Liga matches are sometimes difficult to predict because some teams that are considered weak can actually stop teams that are performing well such as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
I see Real Madrid losing their top position. Atletico Madrid is still ahead for the top position. Although there are incidents like the weak whales losing in La Liga, I don't see it against Atletico. It would be wrong to say that, but I see more chances of Atletico Madrid winning against Osasuna. Because on the one hand, Atletico Madrid's winning streak and on the other hand, Osasuna's draw and loss streak. I would like to say that Atletico Madrid's 3 points are sure.

There are many things that can happen on the field of play. However, recent form and consistency cannot be ignored. In La Liga, we will see the top position change as long as neither team loses or draws between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. When one of them draws or loses a match, we may see the top position stabilize. But if both teams maintain a winning streak, we will see the unstable situation at the top continue.

Of course, Vinicius not only harmed himself but automatically he also harmed his own team who basically needed his energy in a number of matches. Vinicius' absence means Ancelotti has to find another solution so that Real Madrid can appear consistently in many important matches to come, but I don't know exactly how many matches Vinicius will miss due to this suspension.
