It's really interesting that the trend is almost taking a different shape from the usual as Girona has successfully sneaked to the top of the table without people noticing until they got their and attentions were now draged to them because they don't usually get to this point most seasons.

Barcelona is looking like the only team amongst the usual big three you did mentioned that will be Left behind this season probably due to their too many crisis they are facing since the season started, they have been good until recently they started looking average with their performance but hopefully they will get back on their feet, Atletico Madrid has really been hitting hard this season trying to find their way to the top but having little hitches along the way but they can be very sure to qualify for UCL by the end of the season.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are three teams that could potentially throw Girona from the top of the standings to the bottom of the rankings, so I don't feel they have lost everything despite being a few points behind Girona at the moment. Moreover, Barcelona is not the only team that will be left behind when it comes to the player crisis, Real Madrid will also be involved since many of their players have to be absent due to injury.

I don't know for sure how many Real Madrid players will be out through injury until January, but losing Bellingham, Camavinga and Vinicius will have a negative impact on their performance. Barcelona experienced the same case due to player injuries, but currently most of its players have recovered even though they have to find their form again after a long absence.

Sergio Ramos got really emotional when he returned to his home. He was understood really ambitious as well from his statements at the first times. His performance can be considered as average for now. I remember him saying that he would like to score against Barcelona in the La Liga game before as well. But he scored an unfortunate own goal instead.  Sad

Anyway when it comes to your question about the decision to sack their previous manager I think they did wrong there. They should have given Mendilibar more time to help the team recover. In the end they won the Europa League with him. His credit should have been bigger than this.

Sergio Ramos is really so yesterday. He also began to be injured all too often and at PSG he was never able to play his best for a few games in a row. There were some moments when he put some effort into the attacks himself and he can still be dangerous with his head, but he was never close to being the one who decided a game with his spectacular defensive performance.

I'd like to know for how long he will stay at Sevilla, but I would rather expect a short stay. Maybe for two seasons in total, but it could also end in summer when some club from Saudi Arabia offers him a lot of money.
It must be admitted that it was the most difficult mistake to forget when playing against a former rival team, Sergio Ramos actually helped them with his own goal. However, at that time Sergio Ramos was quite unlucky and with that result he also failed to provide a good defense for Sevilla. Sergio Ramos' contract at Sevilla is only for one season and this is indeed a gift he has shown to his family, especially his grandfather, who has been a Sevilla fan since he was young. There are still other opportunities for him if he wants to continue his career and of course the Saudi league would be very happy if Sergio Ramos joined in the summer because his influence as one of the best defenders in the world is impressive.

I think some people would have the same doubts as you, including myself. Not to underestimate them, but from our experience in La Liga, that teams that can surprise at the beginning of the season they will not be able to maintain until the end of the season, and that always happens, and maybe we can see from the past few seasons that there are always teams that can provide a surprise but at the end of the season it is still the 3 teams that are in the top 3, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. But negative incidents like this are often not a problem when it is the only bad thing that happens at a time. The worst part about long-term injuries of core players is that other players may get injured during that time as well. A team without Vinicius Junior is weaker, but still very good and strong enough to beat anybody. But what if there is a bad moment imminent and another player from the core team gets an and then the next player gets a suspension for yellow cards. I think that is the problem a coach has in the back of his head. Compensating for one player is possible and a good team handle that, but when they are gone for so long the risk is high that these problems grow if anything else happens.
You presume Real Madrid becomes a weak team without Vinicius Júnior? Well you said it all because he's the key man in frontline for Los Blancos but that doesn't mean there are not other players that takes the burden on their shoulders, we're talking about players that delivers at injury time, player like Jude Bellingham who's the best talent in the transfer window this summer. I have lost counts numerous times Jude Bellingham have scored goals that put Real Madrid infront over their oppositions. I believed Real Madrid will struggle to win upcoming games because Bellingham is injured and other significant players.

Real Madrid published a statement I think and here it is shared that he is probably sidelined for about 10 weeks. This means he would be back when the next round in the Champions League begins and this is still bitter when a top player has no practice during that time. But it is better now than later. Still with the injuries Vinicius Junior now had so far, I think they are also afraid and aware that there might be coming something else. But Vinicius being out for the important Champions League games would be the worst that can happen to Real Madrid. He is the most important player besides Bellingham.

I also read from several other newspapers that the Brazilian winger was injured in the match against Colombia. Based on Romano's report, Real Madrid estimates that Vini Jr will be absent for at least two months, possibly two months and a half based on the recovery process. other reports, another major blow for Madrid after Camavingga's injury which is expected to occur again in January. Apart from that, there are several other players who are injured, such as Tchouameni, and several players who have previously been injured. What is certain is that this condition is unpleasant news for Real Madrid fans.
If Madrid plays against a mediocre team, it doesn't seem like there will be too much problem for them. but of course this situation will really make Don Carlo a little annoyed with the absence of his core players. Sometimes, matches in their respective national teams make coaches and clubs worry if their players are injured. Well, this condition will certainly have an impact on their strength and performance. even though in reality, Ancelotti has a replacement player instead.

For the Champions League, at least Real Madrid has safe points in the group phase with 12 points. and it doesn't seem like it will have a big impact, because after all Madrid has a high probability of qualifying for the next phase. but in La Liga, the impact will be quite pronounced.
Well, let's just follow every development.

My principal doubt is, if Girona after this international break is gonna still being this good, or they are gonna start to fall behind, maybe they can last until the winter break, and become the winter champions  Grin i remember the alst team becoming winter champion asides of the big threes was Real Sociedad a lot of time ago.

Although I also doubt Girona will be able to stay at the top of La Liga until the end of the season, but it seems that I little hopeful that Girona can make a big surprise this season. Because after all, although previously teams like Betis and Real Sociedad had the same case of being good at the beginning of the season and then falling. But at least, Betis and Real Sociedad managed to compete at least in the top 6 or in the top 5 in previous seasons as well. But about Girona, who haven't always been in the top 6 in every season, but this season Girona are quickly in contention for the title. So ya, it's been a big surprise this season, even though there are no guaranteed trophies for Girona but still, Girona have managed so far this season in the top La Liga standings, and I hope Girona can keep it up. Who knows

Of course, it's not just you who doubts Girona, but many people besides you are pessimistic about Girona. I personally also doubt that Girona will maintain its performance until the end of the year, but Girona has good motivation and self-confidence to maintain its path. Girona have two difficult games left until the end of the year, namely against Bilbao and also Barcelona in the second week of December.

It is feared that Girona will lose points against Bilbao in the next match, but considering that Girona is playing at home, they have good spirit and confidence to win the match. If Girona can maintain their form until the first half of this season is over, then I am sure they can advance to the Champions League next season.

At least Sergio Ramos only has a contract until the end of this season, or it could be said that Sergio Ramos is under contract at Sevilla only for this season . Also, it seems that previously Sergio Ramos had rejected the offer to play in the Saudi Pro League and Sergio Ramos preferred back home and play at Sevilla, but in fact Sergio Ramos didn't play well here either with an own goal in the match against Barcelona . But ya, maybe Sergio Ramos can still provide good results for Sevilla this season because after all, at this moment Sevilla has also managed to stay away from the relegation zone and is still in the middle of the La Liga standings at the moment.

As far as I know they didn't offer him enough money, or maybe it was a lot of money, but not enough for him. The king Sergio Ramos deserves more he thinks. I think he was offered 20 million per year from Al-Ittihad and I think he felt insulted because Benzema went there and is earning more than 10x of what was offered to him. Cheesy But yes his performance has been on a decline for a while now and it is good to see when his career will end soon. I think he is a risk to other players' health, he has always been and good to see him finish his career.

Embarrassing, this have been tough times for Sevilla, I would say signing Sergio Ramos would improve them defense but it didn't, I will day signing a new coach would bring some updates and improvements and consistency but still he couldn't.
Sevilla now remain at the thirteenth position on the La Liga standing. Which is similar to what we saw last season.  The only impressive game they've played was to draw points with Real Madrid.

They may be back in the Europa League or out forever this season, do you also think that they shouldn't have sacked the coach that won them the Europa League Competition? He had a poor performance though, I feel like the club made a good decision. Yet, they'll need to looking at pressing matters more right now!
Sevilla this season has been left in the dark, they don't have as much energy as they usually have, Sevilla who were threatening to teams are now belittled in their games. It may be due to a lot of reasons, no one knows, they even had to sign Ramos hoping it'd help them improve their defense play but it didn't, thoughts are hovering, maybe it's the coach, or the team generator it's just not their turn to excel.

They're far behind on the table and if they're to strive to win, then they'd finish at a spot that'd take them to the Europa League but if not, they'd just have to struggle through this season and try to be better next season, Sevilla needs to be back to their old selves, there are leakages they're faced with and they have to fix them up urgently, maybe they just need enough blending and extra effort being put to work.

Girona's fate is largely determined by three clubs who have had better consistency than them every season in La Liga, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. If these three clubs experience a lot of bad days, then Girona can freely lead the top of the standings until the season is halfway through. I'm pretty sure Girona will lose points when facing big clubs, they will face Barcelona in the middle of December.

In other matches, Girona could have achieved maximum results, keeping them at the top of the standings for a while. To become La Liga champions, Girona must have a better mentality, because we know that in the last two decades only Valencia has won the La Liga trophy, to be precise in the 2003-2004 season. the rest were won alternately by the three clubs mentioned above.

I don't think Madrid played badly in Vini's absence, it's just that the attacking schemes were reduced and that's true because Vini is a good support in attack with his speed but Madrid weren't bad because they were still quite good in terms of their play.
The problem is that it's not just Vini who is currently sidelined as a number of players are still not expected to feature due to injury. Now perhaps with Vini definitely out of the squad until the end of the year,Madrid may still expect Jude to make a good return after recovering from his injury, but it is time for Brahim Dias and Joselu to be given more time now.
When the ball support for strikers to score goals decreases, it will certainly affect the results of Real Madrid's matches. It's a shame to see several teams experiencing problems with their players getting injured and of course, this will greatly affect the team's performance.
Real Madrid may still be safe when facing weaker teams until their core players recover, especially if they have secured a position in the Champions League, but when these players take a long time to recover, it will be a question of how the substitute players play to maintain the team's performance.
So far Joselu has contributed 5 goals and 2 assists for Real Madrid, but he still needs the support of a midfielder so that there is a lot of ball supply going forward and he will try to finish with goals, but Ancelotti as an experienced coach will understand how to keep his team on top, and not Letting injuries to key players affect the team's results which can damage the team's efforts from the start of the season.
Like I said they weren't bad before it's just that their attacking quality was reduced and there's a difference between attacking quality and poor performance so we shouldn't equate that because Madrid have been missing Vini for a couple of weeks before and they're still doing well despite the shortcomings.
Now, inevitably, they have to feel the same way because whether they accept it or not, Madrid will be without Vini for a longer period of time than before so they have to prepare for that and Ancelotti has to rack his brains so that their situation doesn't get worse because when they falter once if you look at last season they sometimes find it difficult to bounce back quickly.

There is still enough time for vini to recover from his injury. Real madrid has also issued medical report about vini but there's no update regarding how long needed by him to recover from his injury.

https://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2023/11/18/vini-jr-medical-report

That's very bad to see that real madrid has got someone who is being added into the list of players who are injured.

There are around 9 players who are injured started from

thibaut
tchouameni
ceballos and many more.

Real madrid is in a difficult situation. I think that madrid will be trying to buy some players during the winter transfer. The club has been also making the list of player that must be recuited by the club.
It's important to have backup in the squad once the main players were injured.
This situation must have made Ancelotti very confused. The storm of injuries that befell the players in the Madrid squad means they lack rotation options, 9 injured players is a big problem for a club that has the ambition to win the La Liga and UCL trophies. Moreover, regarding the injury suffered by Vinicius, it is not yet known when he will be available again, although on the other hand, this injury is a blessing for the back-up players to show their quality by getting playing minutes.

Before the January transfer window opens, this means Ancelotti has to maximize his existing players. This means Ancelotti will be required to stabilize the club in more than a month without several important players. If you look at the depth of the Los Blancos squad, they have pretty good rotation options so that everything can be fine. However, this situation also makes us think that Madrid could fail in many matches in the future, because many players are injured and management has not been able to move in the transfer market.

The news has sadden too many Real Madrid fans and Madrid lovers around the world. Now, too much have been said about the matter of Vinicius Junior and other Injured players.
Real Madrid did well without Vinicius Junior for a while and I'm certain that they make it soft even if they won't be without some key players.
Joselu should step up if he wants to remain as a long term Real Madrid player, I've read of him saying he hopes to have his contract extended with Real Madrid. I don't see that happening because, he has barely showed up for Real Madrid. I want to see him step up in the absence of these players.
Vinicius Júnior injured in International game for Brazil and that has cause another blow for Real Madrid after the break. Carlo Ancelotti and his team will be the one to suffer from his absence, he's a key man in the frontline and having him on the pitch full-time have developed the team's current performance. However backup players would utilized this opportunity brilliantly because that's one golden opportunity they will never get again. Real Madrid admires best talents and they will do anything to keep backup players that are capable of delivering the team in crucial moments.
There is still enough time for vini to recover from his injury. Real madrid has also issued medical report about vini but there's no update regarding how long needed by him to recover from his injury.

There's no place like home you know, Sergio Ramos got welcomed warmly even if he saw same with the Los Blancos side during his time with em.
I've watched some of his games and the games Sevilla has played since his return to his boyhood club. He's no different from defenders we watch from third divisions in the Championships. ( England ) there's a much difference from the idol I watched during his days with Real Madrid. ( Anyways, Paulo Maldini and Sergio Ramos remain my goats when it comes to defending. )
Scoring own goal is no new thing for him, I've seen similar scenes with Real Madrid.

Winning the Europa League Competition is no easy feat, Even Jose Mourinho five times European Competition winner lost. He shouldn't have been sacked. Yeah I understand they want to see improvement. But anyways, they've struggled till this  moment in La Liga. This new coach should improve else he'll be shown the exit.

Vinicius Junior was recently backed in good form and this player had an effective role in Real Madrid because they didn't have many good forwards after Benzema left the team, also Vinicius Junior was under more pressure and he was the first hipe for Ancelotti to score goals.
But unfortunately in the game against Colombia, he got injured and he can't play for the next ten weeks in Real Madrid.

I feel so for Vinícius Jr, he's not going to enjoy this season because of injury, he just returned to the club from an injury that's last him a month plus and now he's currently sustained another one that would keep him out of the club until next year, which is too bad, this could mean a very big issue for Realmadrid cause they've lost several of their key players to injury, it's Left for only Rodrygo to help deliver his team while those players are away.

Realmadrid could experience hare times when they return from the internal break, playing without Jude Bellingham, Camavinga and Vinícius Jr could be a very big setback for them, except If Ancelotti could be able to manage this players he has left until the return of those key players, however this could force them to spend more than expected in the Jan window to recruit new players that could help maintain the strength of the team in time of injury.

Players are very vulnerable to injury during international breaks, I don’t know why it is always like this. This cannot also stop a club from releasing a player to go play for his nation when they are called upon because that will also increase their chances of winning more trophies and add to their name. Real Madrid are now in a big mess to have lost all these players to injury, let’s hope they recover early and get back on their feet.

~snip~
It seems that if a player is injured while playing for the country, it is the responsibility of his country. But I understand, maybe not all club doctors fully believe in treatment. And the problem of current player injuries is also a concern. Because their specialist doctor has been expelled because it seems that the treatment is not very good. Madrid have sacked Dr. Niko Mihic and it appears they have a female chief physician Gabicia. It seems that this is also the result of the handling on Guller that does not improve.

It seems this current international break is becoming a disaster for Real Madrid. Eduardo Camavinga will be out for about ten weeks after he ruptured the external lateral ligament of his right knee. Now will be out for about two months after suffering a hamstring tear. Real will be having a busy schedule with seven matches to play before the end of the year. With the absence of important players like Camavinga, Bellingham, Tchouamen, and Vinicius Junior, Real might have a very difficult run after the break.

International break has never been a friendly moment for football clubs. Long travel and entering a different shape of training often makes player pick up injuries. This time Real Madrid get affected the most. Losing important players like Vinicius and Camavinga wont be a problem for a short term, because Madrid's squad depth is great, but it will be problem if it's a long term absences, because Modric and Kroos can't play every game anymore due to their age.

Ancelotti needs to find solution for this till they come back. even though those injuries give significant effect to Madrid, I dont think it will be a big disaster for Madrid. While they may drop few points, They still can win some games.
It's a long journey and they need to get fit quickly and go straight into the game, it's not easy for a player and the repercussions can be tremendous, such as injuries.
Actually this is inevitable, and when talking about losses, actually all have losses. Maybe in this case the club pays them, but on the other hand this is a form of honor and pride for players who are called up by their country and join the squad.
This requires the genius of a coach to anticipate things like this, for example they have prepared for the worst, so that they are not in trouble when their players suffer injuries like this.

If you are a true Real Madrid fan, all I can say is don't worry. Real Madrid has other players who can be relied on to fill the position of the injured Vinicius, as well as other injured players. The problem at the moment is that Real Madrid does not have a stock of players with the same quality as the injured players, so of course there will be bad consequences because of this storm of injuries. The impact of a decline in performance is very possible, but I don't expect it to happen which results in the loss of several points for Real Madrid.

Good hope also remains. As a big team, Real Madrid will not completely lose its fighting power just because it loses several players due to injury. The next match will not be tough, so it will not affect Real Madrid's probability of winning. Cadiz are playing at home, but they are a weak team that is likely to be easy for Ancelotti's men to handle.
