The beauty meanwhile is that unlike other clubsides, Real Madrid has got a quality squad depth which gives them chances to survive this injury crisis laden time. With long term injuries to players; Madrid can be tempted to take up loan deals in the january transfer window. Also, Joselu has deputized well in the no 9 role. I believe Ancelloti will manage well; he is an elite coach
They have enough midfielders and defenders, but they have lack of attackers (front line players). So, I don't think Real Madrid has a good squad depth for this season. There are some players who get injured for a long time. So, it is true that Real Madrid needs some new players in January. But I think they are better to sign new players permanently. They have enough money, why they need to get loan players again? They already signed Kepa as a loan player from Chelsea. By the way, Joselu may play effectively in some matches. But he still can't perform well in big matches. So, Real Madrid actually still needs a new strong striker.

Girona have really been on good form this season but they’re not a team who would want to challenge Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid for the title, challenging for the title has some requirements it has to meet such as; Squad Depth and Financial Capacity, without squad depth, when the first 11 is out with injuries the team will get all shaky and without finances, there’ll be no room for replacement of injured players.

With 2 top games in hand and considering the injury crisis of Real Madrid and Barcelona I think Girona will end the year on top the log of the table but I don’t expect them to be there a while into the 2nd half of the league, Bilbao are a pretty composed team that could cause worry to any Spanish side left alone Girona, no doubt Girona has been good at home but Bilbao could cause an upset for them over the weekend and they might probably share the spoils.
You know is one thing to return back from injury and is another thing to be in form and this is the issue Real Madrid and Barcelona are currently facing while Madrid has a chance of signing new players this January, Barca is not really also having it freely since because of their crisis and as if this is not enough more key players are getting injured like Gavi today and its seems he will be out till next year.
I believe Girona will face more struggle dealing with Bibao than Barcelona this year after all the injury crisis upon Barcelona
Gavi, stegen and there may be more to come soon. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are currently facing a crisis as a result of multiple injuries. They lose their important players. madrid has 9 players were injured in total. that's a lot compared with barcelona but ancellotti has been fully preparing the club to face this kind of situation. The match between girona vs bilbao will come soon and i would like to see girona to win the game at least 2 goals.

Girona stands a strong chance of capitalizing on the recent setbacks experienced by both Real Madrid and Barcelona due to the injury. Girona will be able to beat it even the club may be facing a tough game against bilbao.
Bilbao was not a weak team but girona is having capability to beat it even with narrow score. Michel is preparing everything to face that match.

That's very sad for Xavi and Barcelona to see Gavi getting injured like this. I think these FIFA days we recently saw made many players injured and now Gavi is injured while he is a key player in Barcelona.
In the game between Spain and Georgia, Gavi couldn't continue the game after 24 minutes and he left the field while crying.
It seems he is injured hard and he is going to be out for a long time.

I don't know for sure how many Real Madrid players will be out through injury until January, but losing Bellingham, Camavinga and Vinicius will have a negative impact on their performance. Barcelona experienced the same case due to player injuries, but currently most of its players have recovered even though they have to find their form again after a long absence.
Girona can capitalize on this calamity facing the other teams and make sure that do not loose any other games for the period and weeks tha Real Madrid will be struggling. There is a sense of teamwork among the Girona players, and a sense of possibility, so they can actually keep playing thos season without loosing any more games. Real Madrid's next game is an away game to 16th place Cadiz, that game should not be the game where Real Madrid should start loosing points.

Girona can even win the game against Athletic Club in the next week they have. But the fact about Girona is I think they are going to lose their place and this team doesn't have the enough potential to be at the top of the La Liga table at the end of this season.
Other teams with the much better players and more investments couldn't have this good performance and I'm wondering how a team like Girona can be in the first place in the league.

Undoubtedly, Girona doesn't possess the kind of quality players and depth in squad like that of the other big teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid but the club's manager has helped build the team to become one of the best in the country at the moment . Many are of the opinion that Girona aren't gonna be as competitive as they are currently till the end of the season.
While many are waiting for the decline in form of Girona, they might pull a big surprise by winning the the league at the end of the season.

This situation must have made Ancelotti very confused. The storm of injuries that befell the players in the Madrid squad means they lack rotation options, 9 injured players is a big problem for a club that has the ambition to win the La Liga and UCL trophies. Moreover, regarding the injury suffered by Vinicius, it is not yet known when he will be available again, although on the other hand, this injury is a blessing for the back-up players to show their quality by getting playing minutes.

Before the January transfer window opens, this means Ancelotti has to maximize his existing players. This means Ancelotti will be required to stabilize the club in more than a month without several important players. If you look at the depth of the Los Blancos squad, they have pretty good rotation options so that everything can be fine. However, this situation also makes us think that Madrid could fail in many matches in the future, because many players are injured and management has not been able to move in the transfer market.
Real Madrid continues to struggle with a wide wave of injuries this season, and this will be a bad one to Don Carlo’s campaign, Don Carlo have lost 9 players to injury as a result reducing team’s performance and cohesiveness, Vini being ruled out during this last international break after just recovering from a long spell out, I think the club needs to run a routine on her medical team and try to get the team back in shape

This list of injury would be much workload for Don Carlo because he’ll have to get available players to be able to coerce and come out strong when they go head to head orher teams especially as they go all out for the title, the transfer market will soon be upon us and trust Real Madrid to go make some cool signings for themselves and get the team back on track.

Vinicius Jr's injury to the Brazilian national team is really unfortunate for Real Madrid. But Real Madrid should have thought about these possibilities beforehand and taken some precautions against them. Vinicius Jr will be out of football for about 3 months due to this injury. After Benzema had gone to the Arab League, they should have immediately made a transfer to fill Benzema's void, but they didn't. Now Vinicius Jr is also injured. They have to sign a striker in the winter transfer window. Otherwise their chances against Girona and Barcelona will diminish.
Sure, it will be a difficult challenge to have no Vinicius on the lineup. He has a big role for Real Madrid front line, he is Real Madrid mainstay left winger. We must know that Real Madrid has no other pure left winger who has the capability as Vinicius. Real Madrid has a crisis of attackers because Bellingham and Arda Guller got injured, too. Now, Real Madrid only have Rodrygo, Joselu, and Brahim Díaz for the attacker options. These players aren't enough for Real Madrid lineup, specifically when Real Madrid has a big match in UCL and La Liga. So, I agree that Real Madrid must sign new attackers in January transfer window. I don't which players that Real Madrid will target to buy in January, but it will be a big addition if they sign a top player like Osimhen or Mbappe. Although the chance to sign them looks rather small, people expect much that Real Madrid can succeed to sign one of those top strikers.

Of course, it's not just you who doubts Girona, but many people besides you are pessimistic about Girona. I personally also doubt that Girona will maintain its performance until the end of the year, but Girona has good motivation and self-confidence to maintain its path. Girona have two difficult games left until the end of the year, namely against Bilbao and also Barcelona in the second week of December.

It is feared that Girona will lose points against Bilbao in the next match, but considering that Girona is playing at home, they have good spirit and confidence to win the match. If Girona can maintain their form until the first half of this season is over, then I am sure they can advance to the Champions League next season.

My principal doubt is, if Girona after this international break is gonna still being this good, or they are gonna start to fall behind, maybe they can last until the winter break, and become the winter champions  Grin i remember the alst team becoming winter champion asides of the big threes was Real Sociedad a lot of time ago.

It's not challenging to predict whether Girona will maintain their current level of performance after the international break.i dont think they will keep up the same level and continue to perform well, Various factors such as injuries player form and other things can influence the team's performance. While Girona has a strong start, I believe they will last untill the winter break, after that the fall down will begin.

As you mentioned the last team other than the big three (Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético Madrid) achieved this was Real Sociedad and that was quite a while ago. So CONGRATULATIONS to the Girona team and all the fans for this unexpectedly strong start in this season.  Cool

Sergio Ramos got really emotional when he returned to his home. He was understood really ambitious as well from his statements at the first times. His performance can be considered as average for now. I remember him saying that he would like to score against Barcelona in the La Liga game before as well. But he scored an unfortunate own goal instead.  Sad

Anyway when it comes to your question about the decision to sack their previous manager I think they did wrong there. They should have given Mendilibar more time to help the team recover. In the end they won the Europa League with him. His credit should have been bigger than this.

Sergio Ramos is really so yesterday. He also began to be injured all too often and at PSG he was never able to play his best for a few games in a row. There were some moments when he put some effort into the attacks himself and he can still be dangerous with his head, but he was never close to being the one who decided a game with his spectacular defensive performance.

I'd like to know for how long he will stay at Sevilla, but I would rather expect a short stay. Maybe for two seasons in total, but it could also end in summer when some club from Saudi Arabia offers him a lot of money.
It must be admitted that it was the most difficult mistake to forget when playing against a former rival team, Sergio Ramos actually helped them with his own goal. However, at that time Sergio Ramos was quite unlucky and with that result he also failed to provide a good defense for Sevilla. Sergio Ramos' contract at Sevilla is only for one season and this is indeed a gift he has shown to his family, especially his grandfather, who has been a Sevilla fan since he was young. There are still other opportunities for him if he wants to continue his career and of course the Saudi league would be very happy if Sergio Ramos joined in the summer because his influence as one of the best defenders in the world is impressive.

Big words for Ramos that I only share partially. I don't like players who try to create advantage for their own team by injuring players of the other team. It's really dumb and despite being a record holder of yellow and red cards I believe, Ramos should have been sent off at least 50 times more in his career. He was not playing on the edge, he was risking the health and professional career of contenders who are also human beings.

We can hope vini to recover from his injury as soon as possible. Everything is still possible for him. Real madrid will be missing him a lot since vini is one of ke player of madrid. We will be using old formation (joselu, rodrygo, bellingham)
Ancellotti are still having those guys. There's no need to feel worry about that. bellingham will able to carry the team again as long as modric will be playing.

I haven't read any news regarding any of them players out Injured so it should be another energetic weekend for them if you ask me.
Real Madrid now has recorded more than three of them first team players out Injured and it sucks, this could reduce the energy they have in chasing and trying to take Girona down the La Liga table.

Atletico Bilbao though could prove stubborn to handle believe me. Girona by the way had just lost a single game at home this season which is against Real Madrid. Atletico Bilbao has lost more than twice if I can recall very well. I don't want to predict Atletico Bilbao winning. I still want Girona at the top still!

Valencia has also been champion of the Spanish League and that's been a long time, Girona continues to amaze people, the majority of Spanish League fans today don't think that big teams like Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are still unable to catch up with Girona, after the international break Girona will face Bilbao, Bilbao will definitely try to threaten Girona's position.

The truth is that for now we're too fixated on the fact that Madrid don't have a pure striker and we're always making a big deal out of it, but if we look at the progress thats been made theres something else that we don't realize: Madrid are the second most prolific club in La Liga (Girona being the first) in terms of goals scored and the most solid club with the fewest goals conceded to date. Indeed a pure striker is one thing that is good for a big club like Madrid but with the current situation I don't think they need to rush too much with their condition which is still very good now especially since they will also have a new coach next season which could be that the striker bought now is not too suitable for the new coach so it is likely that if this continues to run smoothly until the end of this season, they will still stick with the same scheme but on the other hand sooner or later a pure striker will definitely be owned because this is just a transitional phase where Madrid really wants to try something new while preparing their future plans.
I agree that in recruiting a player they should not be hasty, because later it could hurt them too. Moving quickly and rushing in my opinion is something different, because by moving quickly they are certain to have thought about and considered the abilities possessed by the players they will recruit.
So far their goal scoring proclivity can be covered by other players who can be the difference, such as Jude Bellingham. But the problem is when there is a deadlock experienced by players who have always been the difference that must also be considered.
But indeed things like this only happen if Ancelotti's strategy goes according to plan and indeed so far they are still doing very well, it's just that for this winter I still feel that they need to bring in several players.
Not that Ancelotti's strategy is failing at the moment but they lack a lot of players because now at least more than 8 Madrid players must be in the treatment room for their injuries.
Starting when several players in defense such as Militao and Mendy were injured and several other players followed such as the last now Camavinga and Vini which increasingly made Madrid inconvenient at this time clearly made them have to rack their brains with having to be able to survive a few matches before the half-season break began.
If this situation is allowed, it is feared that Madrid's injury storm will continue and this is actually dangerous for themselves.

My concern in this case is that they will struggle to maintain their form because we know that some of the injured players are core Madrid players and players that Ancelotti always trusts in the starting line-up.
Previously they were quite troubled when some of their defenders had to be in the treatment room one by one and now followed by their midfielders and attacking players which of course this makes a void in almost every line.
Last season they experienced the same problem when several players including Benzema had to go back and forth to the treatment room and this actually made their performance quite chaotic in the middle of the season and my hope is that this season it will not happen like that.

This will be very bad for Real Madrid's front line, this was proven when Vini was injured a few months ago and Real Madrid's front line performance was very bad without Vinicius.
A loss for Real Madrid and also a loss for Vinicius' career, the incident in the same place strengthens the possibility that Vini's future will be even more bleak, after recovering from injury, Vini's performance declined and when he was trying to revive his performance, injury came back to him, this really will very difficult for Vini's future.

And for Real Madrid, something like this will be a strong reason for them to immediately bring in a new striker in the January transfer market.
I don't think Madrid played badly in Vini's absence, it's just that the attacking schemes were reduced and that's true because Vini is a good support in attack with his speed but Madrid weren't bad because they were still quite good in terms of their play.
The problem is that it's not just Vini who is currently sidelined as a number of players are still not expected to feature due to injury. Now perhaps with Vini definitely out of the squad until the end of the year,Madrid may still expect Jude to make a good return after recovering from his injury, but it is time for Brahim Dias and Joselu to be given more time now.
I believe that Vini is such a superstar nowadays that he could pull a rabbit out of hat in moments that the team needs a goal, which means that when he is not there, obviously others are not playing "badly" but that superstar impact is not there, even when he doesn't score, some defenders are always looking out to him, like when he is not even anywhere near the ball.

This is why him missing means a lot for the team, I am guessing that they will get a little bit worse, I still do not how long his injury will be but I think I know that we are going to end up with something that will take some time. I think the best thing to do in this situation would be putting in a different strategy all together to make sure team is ready for playing without him.

I am seriously curious how Girona will play in the coming weeks. They have performed great so far and if they manage to continue like this we will see them as champions. They will also become champions as a team that is admired and respected by everyone.
The performance of teams may change after a 1-2 week break. I hope such a situation does not happen and we continue to see them at the top Cheesy

I think some people would have the same doubts as you, including myself. Not to underestimate them, but from our experience in La Liga, that teams that can surprise at the beginning of the season they will not be able to maintain until the end of the season, and that always happens, and maybe we can see from the past few seasons that there are always teams that can provide a surprise but at the end of the season it is still the 3 teams that are in the top 3, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. This may also be felt by other teams, one of which is Girona who are now at the top of the table.
In the previous season they also made a surprise if I not wrong they could be in the top fourt, but in the middle of the season they couldn't be consistent. Also Girona which are never won the title of La Liga, more strengthens our doubts. Although their achievement in making goals is higher than other teams so far this season, but conceding of their goals it could be another consideration that they may not will be able to maintain their consistency.
