They could play as a solid team, they also have a high motivation to keep their dream for competing the title. This makes them to play very well and very difficult to beat by other teams. But we don't know how far they can maintain their good performance. I really hope that they don't start to drop their performance in the early of second half of the season.

Lewandowski scored 2 goals today. It indicates Lewandowski played again with his good form. Barcelona relies on him to score goals, he is the main machine goal of Barcelona. If he gets injured a longer time, Barcelona is probably getting worse and may be out of the top 3 in La Liga standings.  

Lewandowski scored two goals for his team and this is a lot for this player because we know he is not completely in good form and time after time can have an even worse performance which is enough to say Xavi needs to find another younger forward for the net season for Barcelona.
However, I think having this good performance is a lot for a player like Lewandowski at this age.

Barcelona got a difficult time facing Alaves after receiving an early goal from them. It took them long time to score and get the draw. Lewandowski saved them today. I see the defence line is weaker right now comparing to the previous season.
Atletico Madrid kept winning and getting closer from them, they lack one more game by the way. Girona will face next Athletic club and they have a game against Barcelona next month. I think they will lose points in one of these two games at least.

Girona continues undefeated in a very interesting way, I think this will change every week, but for some reason they never lose and they definitely play very well. Barcelona's savior Lewandowski was at work again today and became the player who scored two goals and brought the three points.

I don't know what would happen to Barcelona when I think that this guy was injured for a longer time. Good thing he was able to come back without being away from the field for too long. Indeed, we need to admit that Lewandowski's performance was not as good as before during his first season at Barcelona. At first he really had high motivation and always gave his best performance. He was one of Barcelona's best purchases last season who was able to bring Barcelona up from its downturn. However, this season, the conditions are a little different. Moreover, after he was injured, he may not be able to play optimally in order to maintain his condition after the injury. But usually when a player returns from injury, they usually won't be as good as they were before the injury. And maybe because of other factors such as the age you mentioned earlier. Luckily, Barcelona currently has a pretty solid squad. So at least Xavi can still rely on and optimize his players well in various conditions.

Barcelona did not win the match by luck but played the second half dominantly and grabbed 3 points. It is true that in the first half, Barcelona was a little weak from the attacking point of view, but in the second half, Xavi changed the tactic and strengthened the team again, due to which the team performed well and even Lewandowski recovered his lack of performance. Monero broke the deadlock forst for Villareal with a rebound shot from outside the box to pit the game in davor of Villareal. This is the 7th goal that Monero has scored this season. It was on the extra time of the first half that Athletico Madrid was able to eqaulize the goal.

Greizeman was the man that made a cross to Wistel who was on the other side of the post and he happoly finished the ball into the back of the net to balance the score. Athletico should be able to win this game because they are on the fourth position while Villareal is on 13th postion. I want to see how the game will end in the second half but after the equalizer, Athletico Madrid has another opportunity to score but they missed it. it is still 1-1

I was really glad when Barcelona did a come back by the second half of the game, they were loosing in the first half and it got me troubled because I know Barcelona is in a much better form when compared to alaves so it got me wondering if Barcelona will be in a struggle.

But by the second half there was much more better performance that what they did in the first half of the game. Obviously Barcelona needs some more help with their attack as it is gradually growing weak especially in the absence of lewandoski, they really struggle to win matches, I'm hoping regardless of their financial constraints, they will be able to get a good replacement by January transfer window in the absence of lewandoski

Really happy to see them bounce back from a 0:1 defeat at the beginning of the match to eventually winning 2:1 in the final score that's very good for a team that has been with out them key man Robert Lewandoski for some couple of games but glad he's back in the team and he gave a superb performance and helped the team in scoring the equalizing goal and also provided the winning goal so happy for him.

I think the Barcelona coach Xavi needs more them as he's still working on the team so I think they should let him do his job instead of pushing for his sacj because the team dropped some point in the league. I watched the game and from my observations Barcelona played more better and deserves the win they got today.

First of all, every team have its own ups and downs, in some matches maybe month or even bad seasons. Last season Barcelona was the one to take LaLiga trophy and this season also they took the first place for some time. So, for me it’s just a period where this team isn’t doing well.
Xavi now has some work to do and changes to make things better and bring back the team to the winning track. Barcelona has many good players and young talented ones that can create the upcoming change, why not giving the team so time to see what they will do. I believe that real fans are understanding well the situation and also happy to win in today’s match with the comeback in second half. We also saw that Xavi let many players that didn’t play in first half and didn’t change them, and they are the ones who brought the comeback which means it’s only a matter of belief and time to see Barcelona great again.

This season the league is very interesting, because normally the teams at the top of the table are Barcelona and Real Madrid. but this season I'm seeing something very funny, I'm even joking with myself about how long Girona will be able to stay at the top and it's funny that they are gradually distancing themselves from Real Madrid and Barcelona, before it was a difference of 1 point, now the difference it rose to 2 points, then we will have a scenario in which the difference in points is already more than 3 or 5 points if they continue to win and real madrid and barcelona have a defeat. now talking about real madrid, they beat valencia in a game in which they scored 5 goals

It was something incredible, after they scored 3 goals in the game against Braga in the European Champions League, today they scored a lot of goals again, perhaps it was the start of a very strong attack since the goals were scored by the attackers. while in the case of barcelona they are still not good in attack, they are not managing to score many goals, they won but they won't convince me, they were losing but then managed to reverse the deficit. Barcelona has often started the game losing. this season they are bad in defense

The previous defeat against a weak team like Las Palmas was beyond predictions and Atletico certainly does not want to suffer the same result against Villarreal soon. Diego Simione, who is Atletico's tactician, seems to want to continue the existing winning trend and they must immediately move on from the bad results they have had and indeed in the Champions League they are still unbeaten and are at the top of Group F.

I see more of a duet between Griezzman and Morata who will stand out again in this match and indeed the two of them have often been the deciding players in Atletico's victory so far. Villarreal is still far from expectations and after changing coaches some time ago it still hasn't made Villarreal improve and currently they are at the bottom of the standings and have a long way to go to get back to the top 10 in the standings.

It felt good to see them Barcelona winning the match against Alaves with that they're not so far from those leading the table ( Girona and real Madrid )
They're not consistent and it has lead to talks of Xavi Hernandez being sacked but Barcelona management has given him full assurance be won't be sacked.

I'm excited for Robert Lewandoski even if I failed to see the game. He has been criticized by fans for dropping form and failing to score. Glad he could register his name today to help his side win. I'll do well to see highlights of the game if they really deserved the penalty.

You're right when you said Barcelona are doing poorly but it doesn't mean they don't get the job done, fine they lost the game in the champions league which was disappointing to the fans and I feel the manager has already gotten what he wants. I know Barcelona won't come back from the international break and still be in this confused form, that's off and on.
Today's game was suppose to be a game they are suppose to use to make up for their loss with so many goals but they got only two goals, at some point it was like they were going to play out a draw.
Lewandoski hasn't been in his best of form and I feel age is also getting on him, with the fact that he just got back from injury, I feel he needs time to get back on track. So you won't expect such a player to start hitting the ground running, he did well by getting the goals in that encounter and I feel he'd be in better shape when they get back from the break.

The last match in La Liga today will be between Atletico Madrid and Villarreal. Atletico Madrid suffered a surprise defeat against Las Palmas last week. Before that game they had a 6-game winning streak. This season they are behind Real Madrid and Barcelona in the league, but in the Champions League they are undefeated in Group E. They have a good combination with Yannick Carrasco, Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata. I like the play of Atletico Madrid this season. On the other hand, Villarreal are far from their glory days this season. They have only 3 wins in 12 games this season. I see Atletico Madrid as the favorites to win this match.

Yeah, and I have to admit that as a Barcelona supporter. if not awarded a penalty shot in the 78th minute, I think the final result would potentially be 1-1. Luckily, Toress was fouled and Lewa as the kicker successfully put his team ahead and won the match. But naturally, Barcelona experienced quite a problem in this match. Basically, Alaves plays with a defensive pattern. they used a 5-4-1 formation, which meant that Barcelona had to fight to break down the opposing team's defense.
We can refer to the match statistics, Barcelona controlled the game with 72% ball possession. too busy attacking, giving Alaves an opening to counterattack and even endangering Barcelona's goal. Moreover, they took the lead quickly in the 1st minute. It was recorded that the Alaves squad carried out 4 quick counterattacks, but the 3 shots they fired failed.

As you said at the beginning, Barcelona was lucky in this match because they were awarded a penalty. however, the effort is not free because they make efforts to create opportunities. Apart from that, Xavi also tried using other systems. It seems that Xavi is starting to get serious about increasing the strength of his team even though he has not been able to perfect it. but at least, their pattern was very clear. Now, only 2 points adrift of Real Madrid. With so many matches remaining, Barca has the potential to be able to compete closely with the teams above them. especially if De Jong and the other players recover completely. it is not impossible, they are able to overtake the team that is above them.

Valencia is not very strong for Real Madrid, so I think Real Madrid's victory yesterday was not too surprising. Real Madrid can overcome Valencia without their best attacking midfielder, but that is not a problem because the average performance of their players is very good.

Vinicius and Rodrygo each scored 2 goals, but Dani Carvajal was the man who got the party started.
