Alaves actually held up well. Playing against Barcelona is not something every team can achieve. Even though the quality of the squad was much lower, Alaves managed to take the lead in the first seconds, but they were unlucky because Lewandowski returned to the scene. The 2 goals scored by Lewandowski gave life to Barcelona and they continued their pursuit in the league by winning 2-1.

I think you have a point mate Barcelona has not had convincing game recently, a big team should not be living on the edge everytime they play, yes it's a unique way of life for big teams to be able to turn a game around when ever they go down but I believe another quality of a big team is when they play matches in a convincing manner and Barcelona recent form is far from convincing I am of the stands that Xavi Hernandez needs to go.

He will have more and different difficulties when he will be tested when Leverkusen returns back to bundesliga actions after the duties break. It is not still clear that Ancelotti will be leaving Madrid the end of the season next year. Alonso may be the next Guardiola in football.

There are too many news about Xabi Alonso. But I doubt if Xabi Alonso will leave his current club before the end of this season. I think Xabi Alonso will obey his contract with his current club, he wants to give a trophy for the team as well. It is important to prove his quality with a trophy, so he needs to finish this season with a trophy. Next season, maybe he will consider to move to another team if we has another plan. I do not believe that Xabi will let Leverkusen down. Leverkusen reached a very different level with him. They are currently one of the feared teams in the Bundesliga and, along with Borussia Dortmund, they are seen as one of the two teams that can stop Bayern. Real Madrid may be interested in Xabi, but if a step is to be taken in this regard, I think it will be at the end of this year.

Girona faces a challenging journey to maintain their top position in LaLiga knwoing the strong competition from teams participating in both the UCL and the LaLiga trophy.

But, we can't deny that Girona has a formidable team this season, performing well againstmany teams and breaking their records. It serves as a big surprise for me this season. I wish also to see them in UCL next season.

15 - 18 millions are easy for madrid. The only problem is whether xabi will agree with such offer as he is still having long term contract in leverkusen. Madrid needs to pay a lot to the leverkusen to get him.

That price was nothing compared with a coach with full experiences in the football. We must try to remember xabi has played under several world class coaches during his career.

I'm very familiar with all this games. People are always trying hard to dishonor Anceloti performance and work in Real Madrid and that's why they are kin on pushing Xabi in the job. I remember very well from Fabrizio Romano asking him if he still plan on leaving Real Madrid but he said he doesn't want to leave such a prestigious club for now, there is no plan for that anytime soon. If there is, we will be seeing some early signs of him with less performance but he doesn't give nor take, he brought Bellingham to improve his gallery for the club.

I know he is aging which is natural cause and a time will come for him to leave the club but I feel this pressures of having successor is unnecessary. If he leave today, many of other qualified coaches will line up that will even be better than Xavi many suggesting to take over the club, let's leave the man do his job perhaps it's another season to win back another Laliga and Champions League.

Real Madrid tends to work with experienced coaches instead of working with coaches who are actually still starting their careers. Xabi Alonso could be one of the great coaches of the future if he has the opportunity to work at a top European team, but for the near future then I think Real Madrid would be better suited to Zidane than Alonso.

Zidane has proven his abilities with Real Madrid by winning many titles. His coaching abilities have been tested and recognized worldwide, but Zidane has not coached any other club apart from Real Madrid so far. Zidane is far more likely to become Real Madrid coach next season if Ancelotti drops the suitcase to become Brazil coach.

Yeah Barcelona needs 5 points to replace Girona at the top of the standings while Girona is still continuing the positive trend with 5 consecutive wins so at least for this month Girona will still be safe in 1st place, Barcelona has a chance to get closer when they play against Girona next December. On paper Barcelona should be able to win and stop Girona from getting points. I think Barcelona will not waste this opportunity especially since they are playing at home, if Barcelona fails, it means their chances of getting closer will be even smaller.

The three clubs you made mention of that is Barcelona, Real Madrid and Girona are all in good form and I like their energy they put in other win their matches. I like when their is competition in a league as that's what even bring people's attention to watch matches. So far the la liga have been very competitive with the three clubs at the forefront are not ready to drop points. I also admire the strength that the league leaders Girona has shown so far as their effort will surely take them far if they continue in this great form.

Despite Barcelona's position in the table i still believe they're doing well, it's really not easy for the big teams now as the teams we see as less competitive are now the one's that are even performing more better now, for Barcelona they need time and more team work in other to prove their quality in this season's campaign.

I do support this decision. Real madrid needs to find ancellotti's successor after ancellotti has agreed to join in the brazil national team. Xabi is the best once who can be lined up along with zidane which was giving back to back UCL champion three times in a row.
15 - 18 millions are easy for madrid. The only problem is whether xabi will agree with such offer as he is still having long term contract in leverkusen. Madrid needs to pay a lot to the leverkusen to get him.
