Also, Granada can scored. This is clear that Barcelona defense in that match quite weaks, as a big team and perhaps the favorite club in La Liga, Barcelona at least didn't concede in that match. Against a team in the relegation zone, this is clearly a very bad result, not because about of the draw result in my opinion but because of the two goal conceded which makes Barcelona look bad. Xavi must focus and continue to learn more so that Barcelona defense is not easily be penetrated by their opponent.

This time I lost the bet and I was not predicting to see Barcelona to lose any points against a team like Granada because they are in the hard race with Real Madrid for the first place in the La Liga table and obviously this team will regret it because losing these points at the end of this season. Because Barcelona had much more control over the game than Granada and they were just unlucky to else two points.

Kounde's performance was even better compared with araujo. It's still a problem for barcelona. More players injured will give bad impact to the club. Barcelona had been always conceding so many goals. That makes the club looks like a weak club on its defensive line.
The injury that happened to the kounde was making the club even worst. Barcelona may have weaker defensive line for upcoming game. Real madrid can take this as oppotunity caused by the more injured players meant real madrid will able to make the gap even bigger in la liga.

I can't even imagine if there will be more players will face injury. This will be greatly impacting the performance from barcelona.

Injuries and red cards are parts of the game, the worst parts exactly where any team whatever how good players it has, will suffer, unless they have enough and good substitutes. An attacker and a nice goalkeeper like Giroud for exemple Roll Eyes

Barcelona although didn't lose any game, missed many points. They are lucky if we can say that since their next game will be after 11 days, so they have some time to rest before facing Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid by the end of the month.

I will actually say that both of the teams had good chances to actually win this match. One thing I will criticize about Barcelona is the goalkeeping. It was definitely not good from Barcelona. We can say that the defense could have been better in general. But the goalkeeping could have been much better in my opinion. Can anyone tell me why the last goal was disallowed because of offside? Did the player actually touch the ball? I thought he did not.

I thought Barcelona was going to win this match. I will also say that Barcelona should have been able to win this match. if Barcelona cannot make sure that they get three points from these matches, it is going to be hard for them to defend the title successfully.

It was very disappointing to bet on Barca but failed to get a win whereas Barcelona could have won this match but it seemed like it took too long to put pressure on Granada so this opportunity was wasted and Granada's attackers were able to find weaknesses in the midfield and Barca's defense which was a little poor in this match.
I watched Barcelona's match against Granada, at first I really hoped that Barca could win because in terms of possession of the ball, Barca was superior and several times they shot the ball which was always off target and I almost had the bad thought that Barca was actually not thinking about the Champions League match because of the schedule it's still too long but why does it seem like Barcelona is a little bad and inconsistent.
I believe that after that match Xavi became little embarrassed about playing against a weak club but not being able to get the win.

This is a common strategy when the strengths of the two clubs are quite different. The weaker club will look for a quick goal and after that they will defend completely. Most small clubs do this when they meet strong clubs.

I don't think it's possible for Xavi and his players to underestimate Granada, in the sense that La Liga is very competitive. Losing points or drawing will make ranking in the standings stagnate. Barcelona draw was not only influenced by the absence of several key players, Xavi squad was overwhelmed in facing Granada style of play which implemented a 5-4-1 formation. This means that Barcelona appeared to attack to penetrate Granada defense, and dominated possession of the ball by more than 80%, Granada only took advantage of counter attacks and proved effective in scoring quick goals.

In my opinion three points is not too big, even though we know that Madrid and Barcelona will be determined to get full points in their next match. La Liga has only been running for nine weeks, meaning there are still 29 matches left to reach the end of the season. Many things can happen, it is very likely that Madrid and Barcelona will take turns leading the standings, don't forget that Girona and ATM could be surprising dark horses.
