He confirmed that he made a Mistake when he set out his team against ATM but had to correct that in this match. The attacking dou of Rodrigo and Joselu was crucial and that was what was missing in the last match. Brahim Diaz has waited to have his opportunity to start today and he definitely backed that with a goal which he deserves, I just hope he doesn’t get pulled back to the bench to accommodate the return of Vinicius. A great game by Madrid and I think this season tittle will be interesting.

Barcelona are now failing to get 3 points even though they didn't lose this game but they also failed to win which is a bit of a shame.
They were in control of the game but Mallorca really knew what to do and they played very patiently waiting and holding off Barcelona's attacks.

But what caught my eye in this one was Girona. They won again with a score of 1-2 against Villarreal which loaded their position at the top of the table.

Girona is at its best performance winning all the matches played and had a draw against Real Sociedad. Real Madrid had a loss against Atletico Madrid which is completely unexpected as the goals were 3-1. There is nothing to be shame on the match performance against Mallorca, because I felt good atleast Barcelona was able to draw the match 2-2.

The position switching have begun and we can expect the competence to be high with the first three teams, because the difference in points were very narrow between them.

In the match between Valencia and Real Sociedad we were able to watch the better performance from Real Sociedad from the beginning, but they continued to recieve yellow cards. Throughout the match 7 yellow cards were issued to the Real Sociedad players. The goal from Carlos at the 32^nd minute gave the lead 1-0 and the same score match got ended giving it move to 5^th position on the points table.

They have a little advantage over Barcelona now, so it is very important they play the next like ten games without loosing or even dropping points.

Girona continue to win. It really looks like they're going to make a name for themselves this season. I admit that Girona this season has had a very good performance consistently securing wins and for Barcelona it seems like Xavi mistake was not providing the right strategy in the last match and could only get 1 point so the current position is below Real Madrid. Likewise, I didn't even watch the Girona match. However, referring to their statistics, of the 7 matches they have played, they have won 6 matches and one draw. In fact, they are quite prolific in terms of scoring goals, they have scored 18 goals in their 7 matches. However, if I refer to the teams that were their opponents, all of them were ordinary teams and perhaps only Real Sociedad were the toughest opponents and the match was a draw. Girona is enjoying life at the top of the La Liga standings ahead of Real Madrid and defending champions Barcelona, defeating Villareal away from home to remain top of the La Liga standings with 7 games in already. Carvajal's absence showed this very clearly. Atletico were very successful in pass traffic and headers and that's how they scored all 3 goals. Real's determination should not be underestimated, but the fact that they responded to this pressure in the same way was what made the match beautiful.
