The midfield was not strong enough as Mallorca could be seen wining the ball most times from the midfield especially in the first half , most of the times they had greater control of the midfield in the first half of the game while Barcelona was obviously weak but later tried to make up for it in the second half, although it was a struggle for Barcelona as they found it difficult scoring goals.
And the red card also affected Mallorca so well they couldn't score any further but managed to defend their goals to a draw, it was very possible Mallorca would have won that game if they didn't have a red card as they played very well until the red card, then Barcelona had a chance to make up for the loss that was about befalling them bay equalizing in the second half.
