Losing and winning in a match is a common thing and can even happen to the strongest team. Madrid's defeat in last night's match was inevitable because Atletico played quite well in anticipating every attack that Real Madrid launched to penetrate Altetico's defense. Modric was withdrawn and replaced by Joselu, and Bellingham returned to the midfield position. Unfortunately, the mentality of the Madrid players is starting to get carried away.

Uniquely, in this match the three goals scored by ATM were all from headers. and yes, this match was Real Madrid's first defeat in La Liga. Even with a game in hand, Atlético is still behind both Real and Barcelona. I don’t think they will get involved in the race for the title, but still this victory over their eternal rival is extremely nice (for them lol not for me).
As for Real, it’s just starting to infuriate me that first Real concedes a goal and then tries to correct the situation. Yesterday the opponent was strong and it was not possible to do this. I hope things will get better when Vinnie returns, at the moment I'm not happy.

Yes, I think this is the first defeat for Madrid at the start of this season, so far they are playing on a winning streak and of course losing this Derby match is certainly not a failure for Madrid, because there is still a lot of time to catch up to win the Laliga title this season. This and even this defeat only made a difference of one point with Barcelona and Girona.

I was a little surprised when I saw Atletico Madrid's performance could be that effective and make them beat Real Madrid as well as break Real Madrid's winning record. But I agree with you that even though they can beat Real Madrid, their performance has not been consistent in every match. It's just that maybe this result will make them more motivated to be able to always improve their performance in the next match. This is a result to be grateful for, because before this match took place many actually made Real Madrid the main favorite, but they could answer people's predictions by winning this match.

Real Madrid's match against Atletico Madrid surprised me because I knew that team couldn't win that way. Real Madrid is always better and stronger than Atletico Madrid, and even though I knew the outcome could change, Atletico Madrid's victory over real Madrid still came as a surprise. Real Madrid's players made some serious mistakes in the first half of the game. Let me even go so far as to argue that the goals were conceded by real Madrid's defence because they lacked the ability to counterattack as Atletico Madrid headed the ball towards the goal, allowing the players to balance and score.

Morata was a real Madrid player before, and I think that real Madrid players should be aware of what he is capable of. Once again, Ancelotti is to blame because the formation he used in that game was very sloppy and not good at all. How could he have five midfielders in the game while using three defensive players? I believe that Ancelotti needs to change the type of formation he employs, and he should start Brahim Diaz because as vini Jr is absent now Diaz will help the team too because he have the ability to move with ball.

Their poor performance started since some of their players got injured. They have been struggling to win matches against teams that they are supposed to trash, but due to their lack of a complete squad, they win most of their games at almost the end of the match, which is not supposed to be for a team like Real Madrid. We are looking forward to winning the La Liga title this season against Barcelona.

Utilizing the squad available now is not the solution to targeting a trophy at the end of the season. With Real Madrid's 3-1 defeat last night, I think Ancelotti has realized what he has to do with the club management.

I agree with you Real Madrid lost the match with Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid fell further behind Barcelona on points which gave Barcelona a bigger chance to advance to the championship. Barcelona is far ahead of Real Madrid in this year's La Liga. Now if Barcelona loses any match in the upcoming matches then Real Madrid will get another chance to complete strongly with Barcelona.  Otherwise, Real Madrid will not be able to overtake Barcelona

I think this result might change something about Atletico Madrid's future in this season. I mean this isn't a thing they regularly do. They beat Real Madrid despite most of their past games. They did it against a strong Real Madrid at the same time. I don't know what Simeone did but maybe Atletico Madrid can be more successful in the La Liga this season.

I really appreciated this big victory by them despite losing to Valencia by a big score and getting a draw against Lazio by a last minute goal. They really need this kind of results in big games in the La Liga if they want to be competitive for the league title.

We must admit if atletico is way stronger compared with real madrid in this match. The result was not lying. Atletico struggled to advance through open play, so they resorted to crossing, which worked well because Real Madrid had no one to defend against Morata.
Griezmann was always doing crossing for him, and morata was scoring two goals. I dunno what things motivated atletico madrid to perform as good as the last match.

It is a shock for Real Madrid and for me too even I know the scoring streak of Jude Bellingham has to end anytime. Because even a best striker can not score goals in all matches and Jude is only a midfielder. Atletico Madrid made a big shock last weekend by not only beating Real Madrid but also won big in Madrid derby. This win will be a big motivating result for them to gradually rejoin La Liga title race with Real Madrid and Barcelona. They are still far from Barcelona with 6 points less and Real Madrid with 5 points less but this win is a good result for them.

Barcelona stands at a first position is not a surprise but see how Girona managed to make a biggest shock in La Liga so far. Won 5 per 6 matches and got 15 points, they are standing at a second position in La Liga.

Real Madrid must spend some time to calm down from the defeat and try to come back after this shock defeat. They are still have one point less than Barcelona so it is not a too bad standing for them and with a long season, their race with Barcelona is still opening.
