This was a very meaningful victory because Atletico Madrid managed to end Real Madrid's winning streak, especially when they won with a fairly convincing score. Atletico played so badly once it was facing valencia but i kinda feel the atmosphere was very different once atletico madrid was facing real madrid. Real madrid can do nothing to equalizing the scores. Morata was so crazy with all of his headers.

I just feel that yesterday's game was a momentary lapse in judgement on the part of Real Madrid. They underestimated Atletico Madrid and it proved costly cause they not only lost three points, they were dropped from top spot to occupy third place which would leave them hoping that either Barcelona or Girona will slip or lose points. And I don't see that happening as we saw impressive performance from Girona and Barcelona during the weekend.
Real Madrid are getting too comfortable with Carlo's 4-4-2 diamond formation and this is sorely getting old and this was what Atletico Madrid must have observed and taken advantage of because not long into the second half, Morata fired in a shot to solidify their lead.

From what i can see if real madrid has its weakness spot on its defenders. It's not all of defenders have good capability to duel in the air. Missing eder militao is a very bad thing for madrid caused by all of goals were coming from header.
I know that if eder militao has a very good skill to duel in the air. Missing him was also giving huge impact to the real madrid.

Madrid needs to find another number 9 in the upcoming transfer season.
