Barcelona dug a hole for themselves against Villareal and managed to pull themselves out of it. It was meant to be a slightly difficult match on paper and started great for Barca going two goals up very quickly and they managed to blow everything away and saw themselves losing a match they should have already had wrapped up.

They managed to win but was not convincing just like their other performances this season. The team desperately needs a boost of some sort especially in their attacking options; Lamine Yamal is playing really well along with Ferran and Fermin. But they need more in form options to compete for all competitions they are playing in.

Rayo Vallecano has managed to pick up 6 points from his last 2/2 matches in La Liga against Almeria and Granada. Today they host Atletico Madrid in what is likely to be a tough game, but since Vallecano is playing at home, it shouldn't be taken lightly.

I think Rayo Vallecano is a very dangerous team at home. They can do anything at any time. They are not one of the simple teams that are not given a chance. I think they have a pretty good squad. So is Atlético Madrid. They start the league every year with the goal of championship. It will be a difficult away game, but I have to say that Atletico Madrid is the team that is the favorite in my opinion.
