Alejandro Balde has played his best role on the left side of defense this season well. He has been Xavi's most used player this season having 32 appearances for 1 goal and 6 assists so far. There is no amount of punishment that can match the obstinate behavior of Valencia fans. They deserved harsher penalty; it's heartbreaking to see one of La Liga's best players humiliated on the field during a live game. It's a terrible letdown for Spanish football; racism hasn't stopped; rather, it has escalated. Racists are unlikely to screw up their performance this season, but they may do so next. This is football, and everyone in the stadium should be on their best behavior. Chanting Monkey in reference to Vinicius drove him to sob, resulting in an emotional disintegration for the player.

I'm not too disappointed with the result of the Valladolid vs Barcelona match. Valladolid looked good and was quite aggressive in that match so that Barcelona had to suffer an unexpected defeat. Valladolid are looking to move away from the relegation zone and because of the win, they are starting to find a way to stay in La Liga.

So far Barcelona continues to search for victory after its title celebrations this season. Barcelona have suffered two undeserved defeats, but that is no longer big news. Now Barcelona has reached an agreement with Jordi Alba who at the end of the season will leave Barcelona.
