The poor appearance of Real Madrid, which failed to maximize opportunities by scoring goals, really helped Valencia, who before this match still needed points to survive the bottom three, and with the 3 points they were able to finally save them from the relegation zone. The Valencia players got quite a number of cards so they played hard enough to be sure of getting a point because even one point would be very valuable to them at that time. Actually, this was not a balanced match because Real Madrid controlled almost all of the field at the time available so they actually had the chance to equalize the score or excel, but Valencia, who had only a few opportunities to control the ball, was able to score a goal and also maintain the advantage until the game was over.

Real Madrid really doesn't need a win to secure a position or to improve their ranking because as long as they are in the top four then playing in the champions league is the goal and Madrid has got it, but they shouldn't lose, or this is the opportunity that the bottom team sees when dealing with a team that no longer has any targets other than playing to finish this season so as to increase the confidence for weak teams to get points like what Valencia did in this match, so that these conditions made their struggle not as difficult as previously thought.

In their squad, they currently have many talented young players but they are more matured than other young players at their ages. Real Madrid must have a good striker to replace Benzema and a good play-maker to replace Modric. At other positions, they look good enough but still if possible, it is not harmful to strengthen their squad at other positions too.

No, it is not about luck but it is a big effort. You can see Valencia try to create some shot opportunities although they are difficult to win the ball possessions. I think Valencia deserves to win, winning the match doesn't always dominate the match. Against a strong team like Real Madrid, Valencia can't dominate the match but they can steal goals by using counter-attack tactics. In this match, Valencia looks successful to use this tactic. 1 goal is enough to win the match and get important 3 points.

Anyway, you actually admit that Valencia played quite well, you said you are amazed (astonished) by their hard effort to defend a single goal to win the match. It simply showed that you admit Valencia deserves to win.

They weren't too impulsive in this match and preferred to counterattack but that's exactly what made them manage to secure 3 points.
Overall in this game I don't think it can be said to be lucky because they worked hard in defense and with the condition they did defensive schemes, the chances they had were actually very good and their defense was very disciplined in this match which made them deserve the 3 points right just luck.

The Valencia victory today  against Real Madrid was merely a matter of luck because, in my opinion, Real Madrid's performance was superior than Valencia's and as a result, Real Madrid was the team that deserved to win the match. I was astonished by Valencia's for protecting their one goals scored from 30+minute to 90+minute despite Real Madrid attempts to score.i am soo happy toward Valencia  victory over Real Madrid today  because this  victory have  gave the team some little more hope that the team may remain in laliga 1 but still Valencia need   to work hard to win it remaining three games in order to free from relegating.

Espanyol had the good fortune of beating Rayo Vallecano, who were quite a tough opponent to beat, with this win taking the gamblers by surprise as it looked like a lot of bets had been lost that day. Their next match is against Atletico Madrid, which is very difficult to beat, and is it possible that Espanyol will win again? It is very interesting to wait for this match.

Bellingham almost got signed & sealed as real madrid player , the advanced talk it's ongoing and as per fabrizio romano it went just proggressing. So yeah real madrid just need one more striker , a deadly one and then they are back to what so called the galacticos , it's been too long for real madrid to have great players at once.

Bring mbappe and bellingham might make them better in domestic league and in europe.

Valencia fell off badly in the sense that I didn't notice them any longer, their performance wasn't interesting but it is a good thing they are still trying to stay ahead of relegation, they played almost all the common domestic leagues and didn't go far, they should try again by next season because last year was better as they were almost close to entering Conference league, if not for their last two matches.

I think the faith of Getafe, Valladolid, Espanyol and Elche is already known fact that only one of them will escape relegation zone, they had one of the poorest performance this season and I'm not tryin to be mean when I say they need to go relegation and have some more training, they don't seems too trained to competite in Laliga. 

It's actually not such a bad season if you look at it as a rebuild for Real Madrid. It all started with the two-faced Mbappe who deprived Real Madrid of the striker, then continued with the fact that Casemiro left, and Benzema's injuries affected the performance. Plus the age of Modric, Kroos. I think in the summer Real Madrid will strengthen several positions at once and the next season will be either top or pre-top, the backbone of the future Real is already visible now, and if you add a few key players to it, then everything will return to normal.

This season was not in favour to Real Madrid,they couldn't win the targeted trophy by Ancelotti,which was why they lost focus on the Laliga games. Their defeat today was based on the shock from the defeat of last week Wednesday that they haven't recovered from. It was a pity that they couldn't even equalised a goal that was scored on the first half. There was a great opportunity for Sevilla to take this week. Because if they managed to beat Betis home tonight then they were going to be the owner of the 7th position in the standings. Because Girona lost their game and Sevilla had an advantage over Athletic Bilbao in head-to-head games. Actually Sevilla seemed really solid against Betis today.

I mean Betis couldn't become much effective as you can see it from the statistics at the same time. They didn't even have many attempts and there was 0 shot on target. Despite Sevilla's dominance it wasn't still enough to win this game home. There is still a chance but Sevilla's job will be harder in the rest of the weeks of course.

As far as I know, they are not keeping the coach. Or maybe the coach is not going to stay with Real Madrid. Either way, they are going to part ways with each other.

I said that the result was not bad because I was talking from a general standpoint. But if we compare the achievements of Real Madrid of this season with the last season, I think we will have to say that the performance has not really been good from Real Madrid. I think this could have looked a lot better if Real Madrid had won the Champions League title. But that did not happen.

Real is not having a look at La Liga from quite some time now as they focused solely on the Champions League thinking they were going to win it again but they were crushed in one of the worse ways from Manchester City who made them look non existent in the field where they lost 4-0.In tonight game Real played for nothing as they are already second place and when everything has finished for players is very difficult to find motivation while Valencia needed the points as they are now I think completely safe from relegation with the three points they got tonight,so clearly the different level of motivation was the determining factor for this result in such game.

They breathe a little bit more calmly because indeed now their gap is already 5 points and that is still quite good and far away in my opinion, especially with the conditions against Valencia in their last 3 matches.
In the end they are still strong to be in La Liga now even though I still feel for this game I don't expect much because the opponent is Madrid but it's surprising 3 points they got in this game.
