Honestly with the ways are going for Barcelona, I agree that they will soon lose their spot, they can't hold it much longer and when Real Madrid plays that extra game, the picture will get even more clear that Barcelona is in trouble. Think about how bad you have to be to lose right now, when Real Madrid lost 5-7 players to injury, they still managed to get a win and didn't let the gap grow, but Barcelona is letting the gap closed.
That's a bad look for Barcelona and I am sure it is going to be a tough decision without a doubt but Barcelona needs to make some changes. Hans Flick will be impressed by how well his team dominated the second half and if you look at it, Mallorca weren't a threat because a team who can't time their runs and are always being caught offside shows they are desperate and will make mistakes so it's good that Barcelona were able to punish their desperation. Well, even though I was a little surprised by the starting eleven for this match made by Flick, the result of the match with a big win, namely 1-5, really made me admire the strategy made by Hansi Flick again.
When i saw the starting line up of Barcelona, i almost questioned the coach's choice of starting players but not until the second half that i saw the ability of the squad and they won with huge goals even without Robert Lewandoski. Hansi Flick really understands the team more than anyone else and he will really lead the team to glory because his strategies has been working for the team ever since the season resumed. Toni Kroos was one midfielder that Real Madrid will not forget in a hurry due to how he controlled the midfield alongside Luka Modric but after Kroos left Madrid, Modric became so weak because he hasn't seen another player that can match up the role that Kroos played in the midfield. Some of these players are not the issue of Barcelona losing games but look at it this way, if they have Lamine Yamal on the squad they're good to go so the other guys can be on the touch line waiting for an opportunity to be introduced. Those duo in the midfield were one of the best things that could have happened to Real Madrid as a team then, their midfield were so great and you won’t find them lacking in the midfield in any match when both of them are fielded to play. The champions league is a very important game for them, so they even play better in the competition than they did when playing in the La Liga which their performance there was also top notch.
Kross was an important player in the midfield and since he left, their midfield hasn’t been coordinated even when they still have Modric in the game.
