This is not the only reason. As funny as it may sound, Mbappe is already 25 years old. I recently read news that when Real bought Mbappe, they were aware that Mbappe's physical indicators (speed, starting speed, endurance, reaction, etc.) had been declining for several years, but they thought that this would not be a problem. I think Lewandowski is definitely one of the players who deserves it. There is a Ballon D’or award that was not given to him in the past. The Polish striker is one of the best strikers who plays active football and despite his age, he still plays efficiently. He has the goals that have brought Barcelona to the top. For him, age still seems like a formality. I think he was one of the most valuable players who deserved this award but he has not received it yet. He probably will not receive it in his career.

Toni Kroos is a player whose absence is felt. I think he retired early, he could have played for another year or two. He played magnificently in Real Madrid’s midfield last year. Although the squad is better this year, his absence is obvious. If he was on the team, we would be watching a Real Madrid playing at a different level right now. Still, retiring is of course his choice and Real Madrid should get used to it. Perhaps Croatian legend Modric may also retire this year. Real Madrid urgently needs to make transfers for these positions.

Even half of the season has not been over. So of course there is still a lot of time for all the teams that are in the relegation zone to get out of the relegation zone. It does seem a little weird to see a team that had finished in the 9th position in the last season actually be in the relegation zone. But I think in the end they will be able to pick themselves up from this situation and actually finish mid-table. But the performance will have to improve. The problem is I don't see them improving the situation that they are in right now. 2 wins in the 13 matches that they have played seems pretty bad. They might have to take some desperate measures to actually improve the situation. They do have some upcoming matches that should not be that hard for them. So maybe they will be able to get some wins in the upcoming matches. That will definitely help them get out of the relegation zone.

I saw it online that he( Yamel) will be playing along with Casado who got a read card last week  and  Balde ... what I don't know is if he will be samtarting but I'm sure Casado will be starting along with balde, so I expect not to have any excuse this time around.
The reason why their odd is a little bit low even though they are favourite  to win is because is their consecutive loss in point and no  one was literally expecting Las palmas game to be another loss in point for them , this game will really mean so much to determine their current position on the table so they have no choice than to winning  it  

It seems to me that the pressure on Mbappe has not decreased because after that goal he missed several obvious moments. Real was much stronger than Getafe and should have won with or without Mbappe. For Mbappe to show his worth he has to make a difference in tough games, like tomorrow, everyone assumes Real will have a tough game against Athletic.

Indeed Madrid have some talented young midfielders such as Camavinga and Tchouameni who show great potential, so indeed with the right guidance and more playing experience, of course they can become an important pillar in the team and fill the role left by Kroos, but for now the problem Madrid will be even worse if they continue to wait they are will developing, because that it will take a long time, so it is better for Madrid to look for a more instant alternative by bringing in a new midfielder who is experienced and have the capacity to be a replacement for Kroos.

I'm only worrying how Barcelona will play without Yamal. He was the one who helped club to speed up the game, and it's the same situation when they lost Dembele when Xavi was there. They played worse when they missed their winger. In fact, Yamal has been one of their most contributed player this season. Missing him is gonna impact their performance.

Talking about the odds for this game, obviously Barcelona is favorite, but i'm doubting them.  They get 1.60, which fair enough consider they're going away after they lost. The problem is that their morale is bit low after they lost dramatically against Palmas. They have to fix this in this game.

Generations will continue to change, previously Real Madrid also had great midfielders such as Zidane, Lassana Diarra, Luis Figo, Xabi Alonso and several other great midfielders. Their departure certainly left a big hole in the team, but Real Madrid has always been able to move on from them. No doubt Barcelona are very strong competitors in the league but we are talking about the recent happenings in the team, the lapses has persist in few matches being played by Barcelona and every good football analyst will sense the danger, this is a team that was on top of the league standings with about 5 or more points difference but now they are   just 1 point difference against real Madrid and 2points against Athletico Madrid respectively which is very bad for me, yea I won't say they werent doing great at the beginning of this season but for few matches presently everything seems to be in shamble, as for putting More effort to win the league title as you said, to that effect there is uncertainty surrounding that for now unless they improve in their performance then we can be sure but with their recent outplay so far, i think the league is still open for the second and third contenders in the league standings to go to the top.
This season maybe different so don't underrate Athletico Madrid because they may maintain this current performance of theirs, so if they do what next do you expect.

Mallorca would have been a work over for Barcelona but the uncertainty they have created have made it look impossible but let's see if they could do a different thing in this match, yea they need to bag the points no doubt but in matches like this, it's not very easy because their opponents may serve as obstacle, though let's hope they win.

Some of these players are not the issue of Barcelona losing games but look at it this way, if they have Lamine Yamal on the squad they're good to go so the other guys can be on the touch line waiting for an opportunity to be introduced. Barcelona have good players that could have won their game against Las Palmas but I still can't understand why they couldn't get their heads together and get a win. Tonight is another opportunity, not an easy one per say but a difficult one to get all 3pt to themselves but having seen how Mallorca have been getting forward to make a statement I don't think tonight will be a free show for Barcelona.

There is no player who can replace a midfielder like Toni Kroos, if only relying on a midfielder like Luka Modric is not enough to lift the game that Real Madrid had last season, his limp in the middle line makes the ball supply not really good for the players in the front line sometimes Real Madrid's front players find it difficult to create goals for important matches, so it is not surprising that we will continue to see Real Madrid playing inappropriately, it does take time for the players to get their chemistry like Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham both have not found the chemistry to work together in creating goal opportunities in domestic League matches or the Champions League.

The problem here is just that Kylian Mbappe  has not been able to live up to the expectations of the Madrid fans who are looking up to the french man to give more than 100% performance whenever he is playing for Madrid, since his arrival at Madrid, he has missed more chances than he has converted for the club and the fans are not quite happy with his performance, especially now that their hench Man, Vinicius Jnr is out injured, and the fact that most of the goals that Mbappe has scored from the penalty spot is close to that which he has converted during open play is another cause for concern for the fans which also reduces the credibility of the player.

As long as Lamine Yamal is absent Hansi Flick must remain vigilant with the team performance will be unstable. Based on the picture it will be very interesting where the same 34 points from 15 games, Hansi Flick first season with Xavi points with Barcelona last season which resulted in him being sacked. Coach Hansi Flick is just at a crossroads waiting for Yamal to return. Things can still be improved but remember that Hansi Flick tactics are starting to be solvable by the opponent.

Actually Atletico Madrid with the quality of its players can win the trophy this season, unfortunately when meeting small teams they always lose points but when playing against big teams they always perform well. If you look at their two competitors this season, namely Barcelona and Real Madrid. Atletico must be able to take advantage of this opportunity to win the title. Real Madrid has many injured players, and Barcelona is not mature enough in other words their mentality has not been tested at this time even in the last three matches they have not been able to win.

So Atletico Madrid could be the champion this season especially if you look at Atletico Madrid's squad, Atletico's player depth is very good and their attackers are all top. At Atletico Madrid Alvarez really showed all his creativity, this is very different if at Man City it is not very visible because of his limited playing minutes. If Atletico Madrid can maintain its consistency until the end of the season, this will be a sweet memory for Diego Simeone and Griezman who may have entered their final season, at least they can present one title for Atletico Madrid.

Despite losing their previous match and allowing other strong league contenders like Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid close the gap on the table, I think Barcelona are very strong contenders just that they need to put in more effort to be sure the win the league. I don't see the possibility of Atletico Madrid winning the league it's normal for them to try as much as possible to maintain the top 3 or 4 but winning the league still remains between Barcelona and Real Madrid, well anything is possible let's see if Simeone would suprise us this season. However Barcelona would be playing against Mallorca today as the visiting team, they lost their previous match so I don't think they'll want to lose this one as well, especially now that their rivals have closed the gap, the threw points is so important to Barcelona and I know they'll do everything possible to get it against Mallorca.
