I think that xavi has no problem with barcelona's defense. As you can see that in the last match against madrid about how strong the defenders of barcelona kept its goal keeper from madrid's attack. barcelona is having some good defenders now. The gap to the real madrid is too big to be chased by real madri.

Barcelona will face elche very soon. I expect it to be another easy match for barcelona. In another match, madrid must have faced valladolid. Barcelona and real madrid will get full points easily and nothing changed in the standing of la liga. La liga already in barcelona's hand. I don't think, Real Madrid will give Atletico Madrid any chance to top them before the end of the tournament because Atletico Madrid are still lacking in the area of defense which is really causing them poor performance in this season. I believe , Real Madrid will definitely win their next match to improve their points because they will do everything possible within their power not to experience defeat from their opponent.

Real worsened their quality of play in La Liga, so they lost their chances of winning... Now they are definitely focused on the Champions League... Atletico, on the contrary, started playing better at the end of this season and they have no games except in La Liga... That's why I wouldn't be so sure they can't knock Real Madrid out of second place... They only need two wins for that, of course if Real lose points in two games...

He succeeded to build up Barcelona and helped them to gain a top position in La Liga and mostly will win it in this season. However, in Europe, Xavi have yet succeeded with his management. The past season gave their fans some hope when Barcelona got an Europa League final match but they made their fans disappointed by a defeat against Frankfurt. Has anyone read about La Liga dropping Gavi's name now from Barcelona.
Some time ago I saw this news and it was reported that the conflict over Gavi's contract issue is now heating up again which in the end is currently La Liga dropping Gavi's name from the Barcelona squad for a midfielder. Will this be a condition where Gavi won't be able to play until the season ends now?

Having on top not always that easy .

Sometimes to defend from such pressure from the team below far harder than catching up the team above , barcelona and and real madrid seems the only two clubs that have the chance to lift the trophy this season , almost no chance for other club like atletico to catch the prime barcelona and real madrid currently. Avoiding to losing points on draw or lost .... that's a big task though.

The copa del rey second leg is the tricky one. A lot of Barca players are getting injured again and they will miss the second leg against Madrid. Madrid might take advantage of that and hurt Barcelona.

Real Madrid is underperforming in LaLiga as they focus more on the Champions League. But not performing so badly as to be relegated from the La Liga, the team has great potential and ability to secure the La Liga title after a poor performance. Because Real and Barcelona are the best teams in La Liga so far.

Yep, Barcelona only has a chance to win La Liga and Copa Del Rey. They are likely to win La Liga title because they are already leading with big point gaps, it is very difficult for Real Madrid to pass/overtake them. While for Copa Del Rey, it depends on the next match, it should be not an easy match.

Well, it is true that Barcelona is lucky in La Liga but they are very unlucky in international competitions (UCL & Europa League).

Indeed, Barcelona's focus right now is on La Liga and also Copa del Rey, because they have no longer been in the Champions League or even in UEFA European League. Their failure to survive in the two big champions is very disappointing and gives Barcelona big lessons. But at least, they are now focusing more on La Liga and Copa, so they may still have a big chance to at least gain a trophy. This is good enough at least, better than the previous season.

This may be different with Real Madrid. In La Liga, they seem like not having a big chance to get the trophy because of the big point difference with Barcelona. This seems like Real Madrid is now more focusing on the Champions League than la Liga.
