The word "worthy consolation" to me is an understatement. u already making it look like la liga isn't a title. La liga is the second most toughest competition in all football leagues. Barcelona winning the la lig is a very big achievement. No doubt, they were knocked out of the the champion league but it doesn't mean they are frustrated
Barcelona is still doing very well if not, they would be kicked out by Madrid before now.

For Barcelona, I think La Liga is more important than the European league. That's why I think they give more importance to the league. At the moment, the difference of 12 points between them and Real puts them in the position of the biggest favorites of the championship. I think Barcelona will undoubtedly have achieved an important success with the La Liga championship.

I just heard injuries news about Barcelona's upcoming Copa del Rey match against Real Madrid in April. There are some concerns about the fitness of two key players, Pedri and Ousmane Dembele. It's really sad to hear about Dembele, who is undoubtedly one of the best players in his position, but his body keeps betraying him. However, there's plenty of time for the players to recover and get match-fit. Sevilla are trying to escape from this relegation zone but they will need to have some more good week days to enhance their position and make it safer. Valencia is another big name that has to join this survival competition. Look over Europe, it is a weird season when in Germany, Schalke 04 are struggling to survive and stay in Bundesliga.

I am not fan of either Sevilla or Valencia but I hope they will not be relegated after all.

I don't expect Real Madrid to run aground again in the Copa Del Rey. Even though Barcelona's performance is currently good, as much as possible El Real must exert all its abilities to be able to win a ticket to the final.

Of course it's not something good for Los Blancos to end the season without a title. Currently Madrid still has a chance in two more tournaments. But in my opinion, the most realistic trophy for Madrid is just the Copa Del Rey.

Imo, the result from the last el classico already determined the winner of la liga. Based on your calculation if 8 matches will be enough if real madrid keeps winning the rest of the matches until the end of the season but it must be noted that if sometimes when the performance of real madrid decreases a lot and it will be also give opportunities to make the gap even bigger and barcelona needs less than 9 matches to win the trophy. It all depends on the result that will be got by real madrid.

Celta schedules until end of this season is not so difficult that so far only Real Madrid and Barcelona are strong teams they will faced and besides those teams Celta only faced mediocre teams and i think Celta chances to survive in Laliga is quite high because recently they were has showed good progress even i have feel that their position will be stayed in the top 10

And for Girona and Mallorca i think they also will be survive in Laliga and if talking about relegation zone i think one spot will belongs to Elche and for Valencia although their positions currently at 18th but they still have good chances to out from those zone and actually it is very difficult to predict which teams will be relegated this season because difference points between teams is not so wide but i have counted there are at least 7 teams whose positions are not completely secure including Sevilla

If they fail to win the league this season wouldn't that be a big failure for Barca? Failure will be even more painful because they have started well from the start of the season, especially being supported by their competitors who are not performing well this season, so even though they may experience difficulties due to facing several injured players, Xavi will maximize every available potential to still they can lift the trophy this season.

Barcelona still has strong opponents. they still have to face the likes of Atletico Madrid, Betis, and Real Sociedad. Barcelona's current performance is pretty good, let's just say Barca lost to these 3 teams, but Barca got wins from 9 other teams that were weaker than the three teams. then Barca will lock the title this season.
but indeed football cannot be calculated mathematically. Barca has also lost to weaker teams. let's hope, Madrid also doesn't have the luck to win all their remaining games.

The last 5 matches they have done very well because they always produce points with 3 wins and 2 draws.
The next opponent is Almeria for Celta and I still think the same as you because in this match Celta's chances of getting points are still quite large. and of course this further secures their position in the middle standings.

This may become the last chance for madrid in the last el classico in copa del rey. Barcelona is leading with more goals compared with madrid but the problem is madrid is not as good as before. Real madrid didn't perform so good as always. Does xavi know about how to prevent real madrid's strategy? real madrid could play so well against another team, but it was always losing against barcelona which didn't even make sense.
Will real madrid lose again in the last match of el classico for this season? that's pretty interesting to see that. Real Madrid had leveled criticism at the referee from their last match, leaving us to wonder if they would do the same again.

For Celta Vigo I really believe they will probably continue positive trend to not losing, I mean they will be consistent in the rest of this season so I also think they won't have much to do with relegation although theoretically it could happen. For Girona and Mallorca it seems these both teams will also stay in La Liga, but yes I agree that they are still unsafe because the current points are also not too far from Valencia, also their performance is not very consistent lately.

They've already let the La Liga title slip away from them, and they're on the verge of losing the Copa del Rey as well. If Barcelona eliminates Real Madrid from the Copa del Rey, which seems likely, Real Madrid's main focus will be on the Champions League, and they will do everything possible to finish this season with at least a league title. They already have a good reputation there, and they'll want to maintain it while adding to their number of champions league titles.
