Zidane did saw that Real Madrid had issues with their squad and he knew that it's safer for his reputation and his career by leaving Real Madrid. Years later, Real Madrid still managed to win La Liga and Champions League with nearly a same squad. Their old players did successfully prolonged their career and even won titles with Real Madrid. However it does not change a fact that they need to have more new and young players. I believe they did saw the issue and they bought Rodrygo, Vini, Valverde, Camavinga and Tchouameni to gradually help them to adapt in Real Madrid then replace old players.

They even tried to buy Mbappe but failed when PSG gave him a very crazy offer.

With the unfavorable results received by Madrid in this match, it is clear that they have the upper hand now.

Lucas Vazquez has all the right to be upset for that decision i personally find him a better player and perform way better than Dani Carvajal that we saw his mistakes in the match. To be honest Real Madrid bad situation now it’s due the coach as he couldn’t find the good strategy to make the team play as a team and manage to show a great difference or attack lines. Ancelotti should stop training the team from now IMO matches like these with small teams he couldn’t score. And what’s even worse is that Real Madrid has the best player on the world right now i bet if any other good coach has much choices as him we going to see great and better results.
Now Barcelona is taking more advantage and making the gap wider between them. 80% or more chance that Barcelona will take LaLiga this year
