So I think now we can clearly say that Real Madrid has officially lost the La Liga this year,it will be impossible for them to pass Barcelona in the rankings,especially now that Barcelona is out of all the European competitions and their full focus will be on La Liga.If Barcelona wins tomorrow they go to 10 points of difference and is totally game over,in fact I highly believe it will be so.

Real had even 25 minutes of the game to play with 1 man more than Atletico and yet they got in disadvantage first and luckily they got a draw in the Madrid derby,they better focus on Champions League now.

It was a really surprising match for me. I was expecting Real Madrid to destroy Atletico Madrid in the derby. But instead they could have even lost the match there indeed. The reason is that Real Madrid had one of their poorest days about finding the target. The shots were just too bad in both halves. They must be thankful to Rodriguez for scoring a lovely header right to the corner. It was near impossible for Oblak to save that. I really appreciate Atletico Madrid for their effort and they got what they wanted from this one.

I think Barcelona will make the point gap bigger with Real Madrid tomorrow. Almeria isn't a tough competitor for them.

I knew it was not going to be an easy game for both teams. Atletico player even better than I expected. They were solid and not too afraid, even if they refused to go forward in situations where they ought to. Even when they were a man down they still played really well, it was hard to determine that they were on a red card. Griezmann was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch for me. He did everything well and Real Madrid could keep up with him.
If Barça wins tomorrow then they'll be eight points ahead of Madrid, it's not looking good for Madrid but it's definitely looking good for Barça.

real madrid had to settle for a draw against athletico madrid. Yes it was indeed a very interesting match, but I thought that Atletico would be a little bit more active than that. I mean of course you can't blame then as in the end they took home a point, but their team isn't a weak one and should actually have a more active role during the game.

In the end it was at least a standard Atletico, looking for an average reward for just playing a fully defensive game. For Real Madrid the outcome is bad as Barcelona can now make it 10 points distance.

I don't really see how Barcelona could be threatened this season anymore. Real Madrid will now put the whole focus on Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

Real Madrid this season is something else, when it comes to the champions League they perform better but when it comes to the Spanish Laliga, they have been very poor, despite Atletico Madrid getting a red card and being a man down, they still managed to score Real Madrid first, I don't think this Real Madrid team can win any major trophy this season, with the way they are playing. Altetico Madrid have managed to get a point from this game despite being a man down, which has been a very good result for them.

Espanyol played better and deserved the win. It wasn't that easy to get 3 points against Mallorca. Vedat Muriqi continues to score, he has scored most of Mallorca's goals. But this time Martin Braithwaite had the last word. This could be one of the best matches of Braithwaite's career. He brought 3 points to his team with 2 goals scored. Espanyol breathed a sigh of relief, stepping away from the relegation zone a bit.
