That seems to be another expensive loss of points for Real Madrid in its home game against Atletico Madrid. Atletico are ahead with a few minutes to play. Who knows what is still possible for Atletico. Championship is in if Baracelona also wins this weekend. Then the lead is 11 points, then you can see how fast things have gone after the winter break. Honestly, after seeing the Real Madrid versus Liverpool game and how Real Madrid made a incredible comeback and scored 5 goals I expected Madrid to score a lot of goals against Atletico Madrid but the result was disappointing. Real Madrid were sloppy and conceded a goal to fall behind but luckily were able to secure one back to finish the game in a draw. To my surprise, Atletico Madrid actually had a good match. I want to say I believe they could actually win the match if it was not for the stupid red card that Correa picked up in the 64th minute of the match. Atletico Madrid did very well to break the deadlock even after being one man down. It was actually great to see both teams scoring from set pieces and also with headers. But that also rises the question that both teams probably are not being able to defend corners and set pieces properly. Actually not being able to defend is understandable at that point of the match because they are already one man down. Overall I think that Athletico Madrid had a good game.
