I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you might have felt it when the keeper made that awful mistake. But apart from that mistake and despite the fireworks during the night at Real Madrids hotel, the whole squad seemed as fit as they have never been before. They destroyed Liverpool literally, they tore them apart as if Liverpool was playing with two red cards.

I have not watched many Spanish games this season but I am surprised by the point difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid. I watched Real Madrid highlights against Liverpool a couple of days ago and they made Liverpool look like a team that does not deserve to be in the Champions League but they are so far behind Real Madrid in the La Liga. I do not understand how can they be favorites to win the Champions League according to many fans and gambling sites but struggling in the La Liga against a Barcelona team that have aging players and have lost a lot of their best players?

I think otherwise. because, Atletico Madrid need full points to maintain their ranking in the top four zone of La Liga. Ateletico will target full points, and appear all out to subvert Madrid. but, it seems that this match will be a tough test for Atletico Madrid. the reason is, Diego Simeone's squad fell in the first meeting with a score of 1-2. in this match, Atletico must prove that they are able to provide fierce resistance to their city rivals. so, we will be presented with a match with a hot atmosphere. because after all, this game is the Madrid derby.

You never know on beforehand how a "derbi" match will unfold. There is a lot of passion and vanity in such games, not only the logical arguments about the need of points or the gaps to broaden/overcome respect to other teams in the standings.

For a while I thought that Real Sociedad could be the team that surprises us all, but in the end it is the same two teams dominating La Liga. The gap between Barcelona, Madrid and then the rest is just too big. In order for La Liga to stay exciting until the very last moment it usually needs a strong Atletico Madrid. It is still fun to follow the league and see how Barcelona is doing against Real Madrid, but that becomes boring as soon as one of those two teams falters, which is now the case.

On the one hand I am happy for Barcelona to play a solid season, but on the other hand I would prefer to see Real Madrid get closer one more time for the sake of having more fun observing the battle.

It was really fun when they were quite close, but now that Barcelona has widen its pace I don't think there is still Much thing to talk about cuz at it stands, Barca is already at the avenue of Escape. It won't be easy to loose up to 4 matches in a row, and even if that is possible, real Madrid will not meet up. I quest it will be wise if Madrid focus on the EUFA champion league. as for La liga, the champion has already been known.

This advantage and good record must be maintained, but I don't expect them to underestimate whatever opportunities Madrid have for the rest of the season. Today Barcelona has a more important match, it is a decisive match about who will qualify for the next round of the Europa League this season.

@Sebas.tian the only way Real Madrid can win the league title now is if La Liga deducts Barcelona points, as there were rumours of Barcelona being investigated once again. Furthermore I too don’t expect Barcelona to drop their lead, but Real Madrid should definitely keep on trying and hope that Barcelona drop some points soon.

Besides Sevilla have a Europa League match as well tomorrow. Maybe they can improve their morale more by eliminating PSV but the match versus Osasuna is only three days later. We will see how tired Sevilla will be.

Both teams are in the same situation and both teams are not doing good so far they are in 12 and 10 of the league while Osasuna had a hard game against Real Madrid and they lost the game with a 2-0 result and Sevilla could get on point from the last game the had and during the last five games these two teams had each team got two wins and they had one draw, which makes the match hard for predict for anyone.
