Elche played but it was not their day. Rayo V also tried with Sevilla and also A Madrid won their game as well. I can't really say Barcelona will win the match. Let's watch out.

In this match Simeone changed his habits a little by carrying out a defensive scheme and preferring to attack and of course this was something good for them.
On the other hand, Bilbao was trapped in a monotonous game from the start of the game and it was very difficult to change that which resulted in them failing in this match.
This is something that Atletico showed very well and with this win they are of course very comfortable with where they are now.

Perhaps they don't but as it is, a lose now means thy don't get to lose any future match as Real Madrid would be looking towards keeping up with the pace in winning there fixtures to take over the league when opportuned. 5 points isn't much, that's a lose and 2 draws or 2 loses and they are done but, loosing to Cadiz at Camp Nou today is something that would be out of the expected.
I hope to see some guys from R. Lewandowski in the Camp Nou tonight.

Atletico Madrid did just to there games today to the delight of the fans and Diego Simeone. Anthoine Griezmann was phenomenal during the game although, there were a few set piece he could have perfected for Memphis Depay which I felt wasn't well done. In the end, they got there 3 points and that's what matters.

Athletic Bilbao played worse than I thought and this made things easier for Atletico Madrid. However Atletico Madrid still found the winning goal quite late in the game. And it was really risky to keep a 1-0 score to the end for them but they did it anyway. Athletic Bilbao's main problem was with finding the target as there were only two shots on target in the whole game.

This was an important win for them to keep their advantage of four points against Betis in the standings. There is a really tough fight between these teams for being the last member of top four for now.
