It seems to me that this game has already ended with Sevilla's victory, I don't see Elche being able to change this result.

Barcelona definitely did not impress with their game in today's match, but they achieved their goal by scoring another 3 points. In the current match, Sevilla completely dominates Elche, which plays with 10 men after Bigas' red card. It looks like a big win for the hosts. Sevilla certainly needs a game like this to gain confidence, because the current position in the table is far too low for the quality of the players they have.

Barcelona already have a series of difficult games, but they consistently take 3 points. It's impressive, 47 points out of 54 is an incredible pace. Not sure if Pedri saved the game as most likely Barcelona could have added by the end of the game if the score did not suit them, but it is worth recognizing that in today's game, firstly, Girona played well, and Barcelona was below their average level. But in the end they took three points and that's all that matters.

I agree with you. If Barcelona's performance doesn't improve they could slip up and of course, it will be an opportunity for Real Madrid.

Actually I wish Barcelona could win more than 2 goals, but in reality they can't do that. And in terms of play, Girona can balance their game, even though it's not really balanced, but with a game like that it's good for Girona. Actually it doesn't matter how much they can score the most important goal is a win. Because even if they can score a lot of goals but they also concede the same number, then that's not optimal.

A lot of things has contributed to the current state of Barcelona, Real Madrid and the entire Spanish La Liga to become this boring, one thing is the Abscens of Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and good coaches like Gadiola, Jose Mourinho etc started leaving those clubs, So If you could remember, you will notice that the Spanish la Liga started becoming less exciting when the above mentioned personalities started leaving the league.

Girona played better after they conceded goal, but they couldn't score even though they had some good chances. The intensity of Barcelona's attack has decreased since then and it seems that they are just trying to maintain this narrow victory. But fortunately, Barcelona were actually able to keep the win even though Girona was really better in the last 20 minutes.

Because this victory, Barcelona managed to create gap of 6 points from Real Madrid for while until Real Madrid decided their next match. Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad tomorrow, that will be match that Madrid must win if they want to stay 3 points away from Barcelona.

Well , barcelona under xavi can't really close to the good old days prime barcelona under pep and probably will never be , to have more than 90% of the domestic league games in domination ... there is several occassions that they are undeperforming like what they did today against girona.

The good news is that real madrid the only title contender so far have worse form compared to barcelona so yeah nothing really exciting this season in la liga.

Hard fought 3 points from Barcelona, they been winning by this exact same margin in recent weeks. The good news for them is that they know how to hold on to their lead. They didn't play particularly well but I think they are learning how to win games without playing perfectly well. There were a few rotations from Barcelona added with absence of Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Barcelona are now 6 points ahead at the top of the league and have a strong chance to remain that well if Madrid lose to Sociedad tomorrow which is pretty possible because Madrid have not been at their best while Sociedad is in a good form.

Girona had chances to at least get a point out of this game but unfortunately for Girona and fortunately for Barcelona they couldn't make use of the chances.

We have to give credit to Girona's players, who did not break down after the goal, but scored almost immediately, even from offside and pressed until the end, so that Ter Stegen did not have to relax until the final whistle.
