Deigo Simeone's side has been struggling this season. They have been finding it very difficult to win even teams that are close to relegation. The match against Elchi was a very physical one which was why it produced seven yellow cards and three red cards. Atletico was just fortunate to get the first goal through the higher meeded player Joao Felix. There are speculations that this young star is been monitored by Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Alvaro Morata made it two after squandering some beautiful chances to get a goal. From all indications, Atletico has a very good defense but cannot score goals. Morata has not been a reliable striker, the team should consider buying a proficient striker that can get more goals.

Actually, after the 15th match of Real Madrid in La Liga Atletico Madrid is 11 points behind Real Madrid. And I cannot imagine them going anywhere near the first position on the table and competitively contesting for the first position.

You know, the Barcelona match is going to be very important today. I want to see if Barcelona can actually win. Barcelona will have to win the match if they want to get back to the first position on the table.

Villarreal and Valencia were unable to show their existence in the top six, their performance was decreasing and forcing them to be thrown into the middle of the standings.

Barcelona must win to keep their gap with Real Madrid because La Liga is their biggest aim in this season. After failing in Champions League and were moved to Europa League, La Liga is a biggest title they can win in this season.

Agreed, it seems like that it's not benzema who absent from world cup caused he's known that if deschamps was feeling skeptic with him.
